Thank you for your response. As you had contacted us and stated the "unit is not working" this would state the unit was installed. In addition, items can be returned that have not been installed and have the original box, with a restocking fee of 30% plus shipping costs.As your unit was installed and hooked up this would negate the return as the policy also states that once a unit is installed then the unit is not returnable. As we have spoken about previously, the unit would have to be inspected by the manufacturer to be declared not working/ unrepairable before the unit can be taken back with no fees. Once you allow the manufacturer to inspect the unit we can move forward with assisting you. At this time we can not offer another resolution without cooperation and inspection according to our policy. We are sorry we can do nothing further at this time.  Have a present day.Tell us why here...

Over two months ago, at AJ Madison's request, I forwarded to them information and pictures of the damage done to my apartment. At that time, they told me that they had passed on the information to their agent, the delivery company, for review and resolution. AJ Madison stated there was a "claim number" opened at the delivery company. Even then, I reiterated to AJ Madison that my contract was with AJ Madison, that AJ Madison had charged me $175 for delivery and installation, and that AJ Madison was directly responsible for any damages. In any case, I heard nothing from AJ Madison or their delivery agent until after I filed this Revdex.com complaint. Now, out of the blue, they're playing the same game of telling me to deal with their agent from scratch. The agent's rep told me they have no complaint file and that the process must start now.Unfortunately, AJ Madison is unwilling to pay for the damage done to my home, so the matter is unresolved.

Dear [redacted],Thank you very much for your explanation. I am sorry I chose the wrong box... I thought that by writing in my explanation that the issue "would be resolved" after A J Madison followed through with their offer to get the Return Authorization, pick up the refrigerator and return my $1697.00 that the case would not resolved without those things happening. I did not understand the e-mail would not be read and that the case would be closed without that follow through. It has been almost 2 weeks since that offer was made and AJ Madison has not gotten in touch with me to arrange a pick up date nor explain anything. It was and is my assumption that they have no intention of following through without further intervention by the Revdex.com. Please reopen the case and let me know what I should do. I understand that the invoice states that there is a restocking fee for returns. However, I have explained to AJ Madison that I was told by the delivery company that I would not be charged a restocking fee. On the day that the washing machine was meant to be delivered, the delivery man measured a doorway and said that the machine was too big by a couple inches. He said that if he made a phone call and explained the situation that I would not be charged the restocking fee. He made the call, spoke to someone and said that the company would need to just call me back to confirm what had happened. I was instructed to wait approximately ten minutes, answer the call and confirm. No one called. I then tried to reach customer service at AJ Madison, but at that time they were closed. If I had known that would be charged $245 as a 'restocking fee' I would have pried the molding off the door frame in order to fit the machine through. However, I was led to believe by the delivery man that because the machine didn't leave the truck, and because of his phone conversation to whoever he called, that I had the option to not accept the delivery and not be charged.
