I still have not been reimbursed for the refrigerator
and warranty that I purchased albeit never received She has also not received a phone call back from the company I refuse to pay a restocking fee because it is excessive and the 30% fee or $does not correlate to the amount its costs AJ madison to restock
this item Adam specifically said on the phone that once
he ships one item, it does not cost him much more to ship additional items at
the same time. Moreover, AJ Madison
failed to adequately disclose or clearly post this restocking fees before the consumer sale

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:AJ Madison did not install the dryer as they said they wouldThey got back to us and said they couldn't do the sbecause it required a longer pipe - this was never told to us throughout the processAlso, no one came to the apartment to look at the sat any time, so we feel they were simply tired of dealing with us, and told us to find someone else to install itWe have moved forward and gotten another company to install the dryer, however, the bulk of the complaint was regarding the lack of customer service throughout this experienceWe had to call multiple times and complain to numerous people, over multiple days (I believe it took a week to a week and a half) to get the answer that they would not install the dryerWe were told we could leave a message and get called back, and we never were - no one followed up with usMoreover, not a single person apologized for the situation or expressed any sympathy or condolences that we were having trouble with the companyA little bit of friendliness would have gone a long way, but no one we talked to was kind to us, and many were downright rude (I talked to someone in sales who essentially hung up on me - unfortunately I didn't get his name). We don't require further action from the company at this timeI just want the Revdex.com to know that we were not satisfied with this company's customer service.

I have sent pictures of the Serial Number on July *** and damage to unit is question per their requestNOW!! they are asking for the Serial Number via FedEx at my expense.!!! blocks the further movement of the order) The card provided had the funds and the order moved forwardThe money is only temporarily taken as the item has not shipped yetWe only fully charge out the card the day before shipmentIn addition, a order confirmation is sent to the customers email that the customer provides on the day of the orderWhen you called in on 1/**/asking to return the unit a email was also sent to you providing instructions on how to make the return and the reminder of the feesOn 2/**/you contacted our customer service again stating you never received the return emailWhen the rep tried to send the email again to you via her personal email the email bounced backThe problem was with the customers emailThere was no issue on the AJ Madison endThis was also confirmed when the manger reviewed this callWhen a customer places an order online at AJMadsion.com, before check out a "Verify Order" page is presented to the customerThe customer is prompted to read and click agreeing that they have read and understand the terms and conditions that do state all retunes are subject to a 30% restocking fee and shipping charge The customer service rep did make an offer to assist in the return with lower fees and offered options1) Process the return with a 20% restocking fee and we send you a *** label2) Lower the restocking fee to 15% and you ship the unit back yourselfEven with the fact that the unit has now been in your home for the past months, we are still willing to move forward with this offer if a response is received with one of the above listed options in the next business days Please respond to the customer service rep that you have been working with so your retune can be expedited. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:This invoice is inaccurate and does not include the 259.00 warranty we paid for the refrigerator that we never received.  The refund should be 1889.00 for the refrigerator plus the 259.00 warranty minus $190.00 (to include the proportion of the refrigerator that encompassed the $500 discount).  That would total  1958 for the discount.   I have confirmed with the bank that the refund was incomplete and they have reimbursed that discount.   Please re-read my prior response, as you did not answer my questions or address the discrepancies in the delivery dates on the invoice as well as your failure to clearly advise consumers prior to purchase of restocking fees or have it conspicuously displayed as also required by law (New York General Business Law § 349).During this process AJ Madison has been side stepping  the issue at hand.  I was not clearly advised of restocking fees prior (before) the purchase.  The customer service has been poor, the incomplete credit was significantly delayed, and attempts to resolve this over the phone with a customer service agent (and then manager) were dismissed.  I have made every good faith effort to resolve this amicably, and only resorted to a Revdex.com complaint as a last resort due to AJ Madison's lack of response or genuine effort towards a resolution. Deceptive business practices are not acceptable.Please provide an accurate refund.   I appreciate your time and attention, as we are all busy.

Thank you for your email. We see that you contacted AJ Madison requesting to return a unit for a door issue. Our policy does state that units are covered by a one year manufactures warranty for all parts and labor. Once a servicer is allowed to inspect the unit to make the claim official then they...

will determine if it can be fixed or if the unit needs to be replaced. If a customer simply wants to return a unit then a restocking fee would be placed on the return, again that is listed in our policy. A service company has been located in your area and will be contacting you to set up a time and date. If the service is refused the unit can only be returned with a restocking fee as no documentation was allowed to be attained. If you have any questions please let out customer service dept. know. They will be happy to assist. As for the rating on our web site we do receive these from customers via a survey that is sent out. Thank you and have a pleasant day.
