[Your Answer Here]Before the repairman came on February ** I was able to open the oven door. This is the second time the door became stuck. A couple of weeks ago I was preparing dinner and a roast was in the small oven. I tried to open the door, but could not. I pulled the door up and tried to push it to open since my roast was burning. Something clicked and snapped inside and the door finally opened. This is the $4,700.00 range that AJ Madison has sold me where you will never know if what you put inside the oven is retrievable or not. As I have said before, the range was bought in mid May 2016 and delivered at the end of the same month with all the other appliances while I was remodeling my kitchen. The range was installed at the end of August 2016, after the floor was laid and the water, electric and gas connections were attached. The oven was never used until the beginning of November 2018. That is when I reported the first malfunctioning. Only two months after installation, not six. The two year warranty, as I already explained, was part of the deal with Costco (read the attachment I sent) that AJ Madison said they will match any other offer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this action is satisfactory to me.  I have strongly felt that YRC was responsible for settling the claim and that YRC's defaulting back to AJ Madison was inappropriate.  I will await resolution from YRC, but continue to expect the case to remain open until I receive compensation from YRC.  I cannot as yet consider the case resolved.

Hi [redacted]. Thank you for taking my call today.   We are rejecting the offer to "fix" the misaligned door.  This would then be considered 'b' stock.   And not acceptable when purchasing a $3700 brand new range.     The dispute for this appliance is as follows: 1.  When trying to install this range my contractor could not install the range because the door was misaligned.  He thought probably due to factory damage or shipping.  Basically poor quality control on someones end.  2.  We requested credit from AJ Madison and were only offered 30% restocking deducted or 20% restocking ONLY if we purchased another product.  We would never purchase any other product from AJ Madison.    2.  Since we did not feel comfortable with AJ Madisons response, the Verona companies reputation is less than desirable, we then purchased another professional range as time was of the essence.    The other range is fully operational. 3.  Our basis of our purchase was based on faith that the AJ Madison advertised rating system that indicated this Verona Range was an outstanding product, with a "4.5 out of 5" rating on the AJ Madison website.  This is equivalent to an A+ rating.  
[redacted]4.  Consumer reports ranks this range as a 25 out of 100 and is the lowest ranking Range that Consumer Reports has.  We only discovered this after receiving the misaligned Range.[redacted]5.  When we went to write a review of our purchase issues, and try to leave an honest review on AJ Madison review system, this is what gets sent.  [redacted]This violates the federal trade commissions rules re Truth in Advertising as one is not allowed to write a negative review.   This product would not have received an A+ and rather received a D-.  6.  Astroturfing:  We falsely purchased this Range from AJ Madison believing their 4.5 rating was actual.   It is illegal to astroturf and their rating system is now being forwarded to the NY state Attorney General for review.  [redacted] Other Notes on Federal Trade Commission re Advertising from FTC: Truth In AdvertisingWhen consumers see or hear an advertisement, whether it’s on the Internet, radio or television, or anywhere else, federal law says that ad must be truthful, not misleading, and, when appropriate, backed by scientific evidence. I would like to add to this notice for others who might view it that [redacted] made this process very difficult and absolutely refused to have anything to do with me until the Revdex.com became involved. Further more, during the process, they gave the Revdex.com varying responses that contradicted one another also making the process more difficult. From the date of the original complaint, it took over 4 months, at least 20 e-mails, at least 5 different representatives and mutiple follow-up communications for absolute resolution of the problem. For consumers: please consider not doing business with [redacted] and if business must be done, please check the manufacture date of any product you purchase, as you might well be paying top dollar for what is advertised as new, but might in fact be many years old.  I am grateful for the assistance of the NY Revdex.com.

As the unit was a quick ship item the order was processed and sent over to the trucking company at the close of business on 10/**/15. the unit was already picked up and shipping for the following day (as with local quick ship items) the order would be subject to fees. Usually the order would incur the 30% restocking fee that we list but out of customer satisfaction only the delivery fee (99.00 plus tax) was deducted from the refund.We see in your account this was discussed with a customer service agent and you confirmed to this fee. At no time in these conversations did you ask how the 2 units look togetherWe can never assume the use of units customers purchase. If an opinion or question is asked our sales reps are happy to assist you. As you selected the unit before ever contacting us we would have no knowledge of there use or placement.If a new order is placed the fees are reduced. A return or refusal is not a cancellation, I never recieved the items when I wanted to cancel. your 30% fee is excessive. and the problem I have with the shipping is less about the time it took to get here but the fact that your employees had no idea when that would be, and were rude about it.
