I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Your are refunding 1/3 of the last order.  After paying for the trial for the eye cream of $5.99.  I read an article about what a scam this was & you don't even list the ingredients in the eye cream.  Before you charged me the $99.91, I returned the eye cream to you.I have a confirmation mail receipt that you received the eye cream that I shipped back to you at my own expense.  I didn't keep the product & yet I was charged $99.91Then you continue to ship the product the next month (I was warned of this on several websites that this was your practice).  So then I call & talk to a Customer Service Representative & she wouldn't even talk about the order I sent back that I was charged $99.91, allshe would talk about was refunding me a 1/3 of this last charge of $99.91 so she said she would refund $34.99.This is what I paid Trial cream for $5.99, then $99.91 even though I returned it & wrote a note to cancel any future orders, then I get charged another $99.91.  You have charged my credit card $205.81 & you offer to pay me $34.99 leaving me still charged $170.90 for cream I don't have.You think this is fair business practice, it is not!  It is a scam to get people's money!!  I have put a stop payment on your company because I can't trust you to not keep charging my account!!You owe me $99.91 for the first order I returned!!  Don't try to refund my card for it!  I want a check sent to my address.  I will still be out $65.00 for a cream that I sent back, so I still think you made money off of me!  If you don't refund me this money, then I'm going to go to SocialMedia & let everyone of my friends know about your company & what a scam you are & ask each of my friends to copy & share to all of their friends.  You know how fast that can spread!!!  I'm also going to respond on each of the websites that warn against your company & spread the word thatway like others have done!

I have ordered many products and services online without a problem, but this time was different. The ad I ordered from (http://encanteserum.com/) uses the words "trial offer" and for $11.90, I would receive an eye cream and a serum. The $11.90 was to cover shipping and handling costs for two products at $5.95 each. The company, Encante Beauty Collection from Santa Ana, CA, used the payment for shipping and handling to gain access to my account, and within 12 days had charged $99.01 for one item and $98.71 for the other item. I did not authorize these charges, nor was I informed that I was put on an "auto Ship" status, and the products would be shipped andmy account charged on a monthly basis. Since this was an unexpected charge, I did not have enough funds in my account to cover it, and my bank added two $39.00 fees for paying the items when insufficient funds were present. As a result, I had to cancel my debit card so no other charges could be drawn from it. If you look at the ad, you will see that it is misleading. It makes the consumer think that they are paying for shipping and handling charges only, and no notice that this is an "auto ship" situation, now how much the serum and cream will cost, nor deadlines for return of the products are present. No terms are stated whatsoever. The items are extremely overpriced and do not work as advertised. I assumed that I would receive trial size offers, which were mine to keep whether I orderedhte product or not. I have contacted the company to cancel my order, to return the products (which they did not allow), and to request my money back. I have not yet heard from them. This is fraudulent practice, and they should not be allowed to operate this way.

Although I really appreciate a refund in the amount of $99.01 I was charged twice in the amount of $198.02 after I cancelled my account. I feel so scammed by the way this company handled things. They do not tell you that you have to call seperate numbers for each item you order. I ordered the two products in one phone call!! I'm so angry that this company can get by with such shady practices. I'm out nearly $100.oo for garbage. Sure I missed the deadline to cancel one of the products because I was unaware of having to call a second number! (I've never heard of such a thing) This company found a loophole to dupe people and unfortunatley are getting away with it!!

clarification on what your desired resolution from the company would be:
sans-serif;">1)  To refund the money to me.  My bank has file a fraud investigation, after I told them what was given to you.
2)  The company needs to put more info on the boxes of their products & information on how to get in touch - not just a phone number, city & State.
3)  When calling, the person on the other end needs to help all customers.  When asking for another person or supervisor, the action should be honored. (remember: the customer is always right!)
4)  The standards for paperwork should  be enclosed in each package sent & how they are going to stay in touch with further offers, specials & products.  Free trial samples need solid clarifications, meaning to communicate such as the customer receives actual product, will need to pay full price, & will receive back  full payment if the customer isn't  satisfied w/ product.
5)  I majored in Marketing & feel this company had all the classic systems of fraud!!!!  I never received the agreed amount shipping bill receipt.
6)  Everything about this transaction was wrong & needs reviewed by a business Marketing associate.
