Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The alternator housing is an integral part of the front engine timing cover and is part of the engine and not a bolt on peripheral I would like them to credit back the cost of replacement for the part and related part to resolve the issue This includes the gaskets and bolts that need to be replaced when disassembling the from engine timing cover This should also include the cost of the guide rail since the mileage on the engine is in question If they agree I will send a parts list and the selected vendor and the costs of said parts Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] Yes, SW Engines sells this engine on a daily biases, says its the same engine and that it will connect all the same waySounds great to the average everyday Joe who doesn't know any better, who's never done this beforeBut that does not dismiss the fact, that SW Engines sent me the wrong engineHow could I, have so many discrepancies? If the wrong engine and the wrong year of engine, wasn't sent to me by mistake???? Good or bad the customer is always rightA or a 300-in-line cylinder has had the same bore and stroke engine size for what, the last years? Ford has made multiple changes in connections, sensors, emissions, and where they connect in that amount of timeSW engines sent me the wrong engine, from what they quoted and said they would send meSo anyone from SWE want to tell me, my shipping papers, my quote are incorrect and I paid good money for what? They told me they can't find a copy of either I have bothIndeed the wire harness needed to be changed, there are two (2) oxygen sensors and a crank sensor on my original engineThere is no connection area, for any of these sensors to connect to on the 1992? engine, I received from SW Engines and there is an air temp sensor, at the end of the intake manifold, on the 1992? SW Engines engine and not on my original engine Now I really don't see how, having three (3) of my original sensors, not being hook up (that's not going to kick on the engine light) and I do not have a extra sensor connection hooking up for the one (1) sensor on the SWE, on my wire harnessLuckily I found a F-Explorer XLT with a that I was able, to remove the wire harness and the vacuum lines, butI had five (5) fifty mile (50) trips, to a lot of junk yards, to find this much, plus the sixty five dollars ($65.00), I paid for the wire harness and vacuum linesOn my original engine, from the air pump, there were two (2) rubber hoses, one (1) went to the tube on the Y-pipe the other went to the top of the engine and connected to the tube that comes out of the headI have my air pump and Y-pipe but, there is no tube, connecting to the head, on the SWE engine, to connect the other rubber hose too(Where's it go????) My original EGR tube is about two and a half inches (1/2") short of making the connectionThe EGR tube I need is ninety five dollars ($95.00), my original EGR tube is too shortLook I will drop this all if SW Engines will send me the correct engineif SWE sells so many of these 4.9's, how come they sent me the wrong one and then tried to cover up saying they don't have copies of the quote or the packaging slip? The day I ordered the engine, such a big deal was made out of where the air intake hooked up I had to hang up, go check it out and make sure, then call back before the man would order itThis is so easyThey made a mistakeLet the correct it.\

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

The complainant is requesting a refund due to an alleged difference in the motor he purchased and what we shipped outTerms and conditions of the Free Warranty clearly state on "line 14: The stated mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to the best of our knowledge."The Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty must be read and agreed upon before placing the order and is indicated by selecting the text box as confirmation before moving forward and purchasing the partWe have no proof that the complainant pulled a carfax as nothing was shown to us on this specific engine and the mileage was correct to the best of our ability when the engine was soldAs the complainant clearly understood the terms of the Free Warranty, we deem his request for a full refund as voidPlease let us know if there is anything further we can do to assist in resolving this claim

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowIt is clear to me that I did not receive the item that I was lead to believe I would be receiving I feel that I should be allowed to return my item at no shipping cost to me and without a restocking fee due to being mislead by this companyI am willing to get any written documents from my mechanic stating my his expertise in this matter on what I have received I will only accept in closing this case, by receiving a FULL refund on this engine and SW engines pay the shipping cost back to themI don't understand why this company felt the need to treat me in such an unfair way and take this amount of money from me in a fraudulent manner The attachments added to this response came directly from their web site Regards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] had purchased an engine from us for a Subaru Forester back on January 15, Mr [redacted] has complained about miles, however the engine that was repesented to us from our supplier was advertised as having 40,milesWe had told Mr [redacted] he could send the engine back if he liked, and we would give him a full refund

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThis business is running a scam plain and simple They have provided me with nothing but excuses to every issue I have brought to their attention They hide all important information that the consumer needs to know in "fine print" that no person is ever going to see They sent me a piece of junk and will not stand behind the service they provide or the parts they sell, yet they charge a premium price They have nothing but rude to me on the phone I will never do business with these people again and I will tell everyone I know what a scam they are running If I can find anyplace on the internet to leave a negative review I will do that as well Businesses such as this should not be in business and are only out to take people's money Regards, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] had ordered a engine for a Ford truck and the correct engine was sent in a timely mannerThe engines are the sams and work the same way, except for the the only difference is that the AIR tubes are in different locationsThere are no special modifications that need to be made engines are the same and work the same way, only difference is the location of the Air emission tubesIt will not make it run differently, it is still the same engine, and it will run the same way the original engine ranWe sell about of these engines on a daily basis and no one else had ever complained about the location of the emission tubesMr [redacted] would not listen to us nor could he understand the clear logic of this or comprehend what we were trying to tell him

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9888803, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below THAT ENGINE WAS PURCHASED ON 4/1/AND IT WAS INSTALLED ON 4/29/MY MECHANIC CALLED SW ENGINES BECAUSE THE ENGINE HAD A KNOCK THE MAN HE TALKED TO AT SW ENGINES TOLD HIM TO PUT LUCUS OIL TREATMENT IN IT AND DRIVE IT, AND SW ENGINES HAD A DAY WARRANTY ON THAT ENGINE, AND THEY WERE CONTACTED IN THAT DAYS, SO THERE WAS NO NEED FOR A EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE IT WAS A BAD ENGINE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING SO THEY NEED TO REFUND ME MY MONEY IN THE AMOUNT OF $ Regards, Carl Reynolds

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] The car's repairs were not completed within ten days of when the transmission was received because of the holidays the repair shop was closed. The car could not be driven the miles that was stated by the company because the transmission was defective Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I NEVER received ANY offer or contact from these people. You have to tear the motor apart to repair defect. Not cost effective Regards, [redacted]

I recently ordered an engine specific to my ftruck.1525$ later and almost two weeks later I was delivered a crown victoria passenger car engine. To retrefit the purchace as it was described and advertised is going to cost me 325.$ more in labor to exchange parts, and well above 200$ more in gaskets and materials. Now I don't believe the advertised mileage(the reason I paid so much). All in all these folks earn all the bad press they deserve

I would like a refundThank you Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I understood the T&Cs of Quality Used Engines’ stated engine warranty: “Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumpsWe do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc.” I did not attempt to claim a warranty issue, but rather a misrepresented product being suppliedI expected a complete, usable engine as Quality Used Engines clearly stated on its quote: “This engine comes COMPLETE less alternator, starter, power steering pump, AC compressor and turbo.” This statement is also on its website under Frequently Asked Questions: “What comes with my engine? Engines come complete, minus the AC Compressor, Starter, Alternator, and Power Steering PumpAll other parts left on the engines are for convenience purposes only.” There was never any indication that a component or accessory supplied with the engine could be defective, damaged, or otherwise unusableTherefore, I had a reasonable expectation the engine would be as promised, or else I would not have purchased it Engine Shopper’s response states: “We were not supplied with any information or paperwork from the installation shop that the manifold was allegedly damaged.” This is not trueBefore any work commenced, information about the damage was furnished via telephone calls and Emails with pictures to [redacted] , Customer Service at Quality Used Engines, all of which ended in their unwillingness to consider any resolutionAfter their discourteous treatment of our interactions with them, we realized we would need to take different stepsNeedless to say, their stated company goals are completely and worthless: · “Our company was founded to help customers like you find high quality, great priced, low mileage engines, with a simple quote or call· “ our staff works diligently to hand pick a quality used engine ” · “At QualityUsedEngines.com, customer satisfaction always comes first.” Since I was unable to resolve the situation with Quality Used Engines, I also submitted a charge dispute with my credit card company, which is investigating the matter Regards, [redacted] ***

Mrs [redacted] had ordered an engine from us on December 18, and it was sent to her in a timely mannerShe had called us months later to complain about some of the bolt on items and covers were broken but the actual engine itself was not brokenWe had asked here where the engine had been for months and what had happened to it because it did not leave our facility like that and we have photos of it to prove itIt must have either got damaged while it was in transit or while it was in Mrs [redacted] possesion for the monthsWe had told her if she noticed it was damaged she should have reported it right away, or she could have done a damage claim with the trucking company and they would have reimbursed her, but you can ot open up a damage claim months later after you receive a part you have to do that right awayHowever the parts she said were broken were just a front pulley and a timing cover, both items are just bolt on items and are not covered under warranty anyhow, she knew that because she had agreed to the terms and conditions form that stated ithttp://www.engineandtransmissionworld.com/warranty.php customer agreed to this before paying
