I signed up for a member ship on 05/onlineI went to EOS on 05/and was told my son could not be used as a guestI was advised I needed to sign him upDuring the course of his registration, I began to argue with the rep over advertising and pricing, I requested my cancellation of membership and leftI was charged an annual membership fee todayI called into customer service and was advised my membership was never cancelled and I would have to work it out with the same person I disagreed with in the first place
I love this gym membership, people are nice It fields safe
When I first joined this gym, I was really excitedBut that excited deterioratedThe sales rep that I first worked with was great and everything and helped me get startedBut this is where the issue comes to playI signed up for their personal trainer program that this rep confidently confirmed to me that it will be $monthly which I found it wasnt an issueNow when I found out I actually couldnt go to the gym as much as I thought in the first week, I asked to downgradeWell there was someone I needed to speak to named Rachel to see if I can get that doneWhich apparently no matter how many times I went to speak to her she was never there and the many times someone left a note tp give me a call she never didI even emailed and she replied once but never heard from herSadly, my pursuit to downgrade had to come to a hault as I was going out of town and they knew this
Now as I am trying to get this issue fixed I'm being told I cannot because I am under a contractThat w

Hello, We have tried to contact you directly to resolve the issue, but have not heard backOur records show that you joined onlineTo complete the enrollment process, you agreed to the Term and Conditions which clearly state that there is a day cancel notice required. As a courtesy, we
will waive the day cancel noticeSincerely, EOS Fitness
Eos ripped me off starting with bucks a monthTold me I could cancel at anytimeThey kept charging me then increased the charge to bucks a monthCharging my accoccount so much and then causing overdraftsMy bank account is now closed due to this ripoff! I need my money back and I never even used the gym once
I'm going to try and sue for my account being closedThis is wrong!!
My problem is that I signed up for personal training but was not well enough informed that I would be paying for months bi weekly of dollarsI would have never signed up if I was properly shown what my contract looked likeI actually didn't even know I was signing a "contract"I thought I could cancel anytime due to how the person signing me up was talking to meI was scammedAfter I signed up and went for a few weeks, I became very illI was sick for months and went to the hospital for days and was still sick another monthI do not feel like I could go back and workout anyway
on May I signed up for the gym I then was hassled by a salesman into personal training at which I first I didnt want because as a college student I didnt want to deal with the payments in AugustHowever the EOS salesman told my directly when I brought up this conflict that I could drop the personal trainer when needs beHowever I was not informed its actually a month contract tell days after I signed upI feel ripped off for EOS lied to me in order to make a sale and by with holding the truth I signed up and if I was told the truth I wouldnt have ever signedAnd when working with mangemnet at EOS they seemed unwilling to help my situation or do little to appease the situation
I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from EOS FitnessI had went in the gym to cancel the membership before the month ended which I had already paid forCome to fine out the lady (Erica) I spoke to, never put in the information to cancel the membershipI was contacted by the gym's billing department stating that I was passed due on a payment which didn't make sense, since I cancelled it in advanced and I haven't gone sinceI think it's very unprofessional by their part to continue charging me when it should say in the system that I haven't been to the gym and that I had to be cancelledI tried to settle this dispute by calling and speaking to a manager but he said there's nothing he can do, so that's why I'm writing this and I can't simply afford just to pay them just because the made the error
We signed up memberships with EOS in MAY of During the siprocess, we were told it was a 1-time membership fee (NOT A recurring fee) and it was paying "month to month"When we got charged this year for another yearly fee, I decided to cancel my membership the next dayI was told that the person who signed me up no longer worked there and there was nothing I could do about resolving this issueThe young girl behind the counter who was the general manager said the only way I could cancel my membership was to "Email" their billing department which turns out to be a 3rd party billing company called ABC Finical who handles club paymentsAfter being charged another monthly fee I called ABC Finical to make sure they got my email dated May 9, They couldn't help me and mentioned "it was in the contract you signed"
My issue is that we were misled and outright lied to about membership policies

Hi,
The Fitness Manager left two voicemails and sent two emails, yesterdayDid you receive them? If not, please let us know the best contact infoSincerely,
EOS Fitness
Right from the beginning there were so many issues, I signed up with a introductory offer for Gold Plus membership at $per month later they forced me to signup on Private trainer which I cancelled within a day that is where the issue startedWhen I cancelled my private trainer they cancelled everything including my membership which I found out only on the day one when the center was opened my keys were not working, their manager fixed it but instead of Gold Plus he added me as Gold member then I have to go back and fix that again, I couldn't get towel access which they forgot to fix in all this mix up for my membership againAbove all even though I cancelled my Private trainer option they started charging me every two weeks when I reported they tried to refund finally they did after so many visits and phone calls they issued two refunds but there is one more refund still pending
We apologize that we were not able to come to an agreement on thisWe will go ahead and waive the balance owed and cancel your membership immediately, waiving the cancel fee and day notice.Sincerely,EOS Fitness

On 12/29/my girlfriend and I signed up for months of personal training, to be billed every two weeks for $a paymentI signed up with Matt and was very clear that I wanted no more then months to try it and would speak afterwards if I wanted to continue itWe agreed to the terms and signed a digital copy, he advised me they do not provide paper ones but can email me a copy if neededAfter my months ended I continued on a month to month period until on 05/15/i contacted them to discontinue the personal training and was told it was a year contract, not monthsMatt had edited the agreement after I left to reflect months instead of monthsThe document provided is obviously edited and my initials do not fit on the page properlyI even showed them how easy it was to edit it and sent a copy of what I had actually agreed toThere is no paper copy they can provide with my signature just a digital copyThis is a horrible act and unethical to the extreme
EOS fitness sounded like a great place to start my new fitness lifestyle
The general manager at this location contacted me in regards to enrolling over the phoneHe stated we have a special offer for $to enroll as your 1st month and your 2nd month you will be billed a installment of $10+ $fee, & monthly will remain at $He stated after processing my $payment to walk into the location to sign for approval of automatic withdrawals on installments and " Terms & Conditions "
I advised him I will step in soon to review the policy
I actually did not go into the location after all, I decided to contact the office and advised the representative I was not going to proceed with
there company, I have decided to enroll at *** with a group of friendsThe representative stated " ok sir we will notate the account wich is status pendingKeep in mind the $transaction can not be refunded but we can discontinue the application processI agreed with the rep ab
Hi,We have set your account to cancel on 7/1/16, with the $cancel fee waived and no further dues being collected.Sincerely,EOS Fitness
Thank you for your timely responseWhile I appreciate your offer to do what I originally requested at the beginning, after the many frustrations, having to take the time to file a complaint in order to get a response from anyone in charge and realizing your customer service is farmed out to a financial organization that does not have any ability to provide any service beyond what they are "allowed", I have absolutely no desire to return to your gymI would rather find a gym that has the ability to make customer service decisions at the club level, where I am considered a real person, not just a number I will accept the loss of time of use of the UP small group classes I have paid for and missed, but still request a refund of $for the remaining personal training sessions I already paid for as well as closing my account without any further charges
