credit report every days, free of charge. In response to this complaint, your free membership has been canceled. If you would like to re-enroll, you may do so at any time online.Our records further indicate that a paid membership with Experian CreditWorksSM was started March 10, 2017, utilizing a ***. The membership was not canceled within the trial period; consequently, the card on file was billed our monthly membership fees on March 20, 2017, and on our about the 20th of each following month. A three bureau credit report was also purchased via the membership on March 10, 2017. On September 12, you contacted us and in response, the membership was canceled on September 25, 2017.Our website describes the offer and the order form details the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing at the end of the trial and monthly thereafter unless and until the customer notifies us of their wish to cancel. The customer agrees to these terms when submitting their order.Customer satisfaction is our priority. As a courtesy, we refunded a total of $on September 26, 2017. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedI appreciate Experian agreeing to refund the charges, however I would like to reiterate that the terms of the membership were not made clear on their website as they stateIf I had known I was signing up for something with a trial period I would have made sure to cancel within that periodI never saw the message they say was there disclosing this fact nor was anything about a trial period or recurring membership stated in any email messages I receieved I think they are deliberately trying to deceive people with the purpose of getting a few monthly payments from them before they realize what has happened, payments which are of course non refundableIf Experian truly wishes to provide people with a useful service they should go about it in a straightforward way and clearly disclose this information during the payment process as well as in the follow up emailsI thank them for agreeing to a refund in this case and hope they will reconsider their business practices in this respect to protect future consumers from continuing to fall into this trap. Since you do not seem to understand why cancelling my membership is not an appropriate or satisfactory response, let me elaborate:I initially complained that your business is impossible to reach, please call me to set up an appointment. So obviously, just cancelling my membership does NOT help me in a any way whatsoever. I demand that you reinstate my account and set up an appointment to talk with a fraud resolution expert immediately

I reject this "explanation." I am aware that these inquiries are soft inquiries, but I am still not satisfied as to the reason for *** accessing my credit timesIt does not matter to me whether I had to give permission or notIf my bank were checking my credit every weeks, for no obvious reason, I would feel compelled to find another bank
