disagrees. Upon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the Consumer. If the consumer has additional information regarding this disputed information, please forward it directly to me.Each national consumer credit reporting agency may interpret the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act differently and each Company has their own policies and guidelines for disputing information. Therefore, we cannot update or delete information in our database based on the results of a dispute with another consumer Credit reporting agency nor can we dispute information for a Consumer with another consumer Credit reporting agency. When a consumer disputes the accuracy or completeness of information on the personal credit report and tells us specifically why they believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete, we process the dispute as required by law. We contact the furnisher of the information or the vendor that Collected the information from a public record source such as a Court or other government office. We ask the furnisher or the vendor to conduct a thorough and complete investigation to verify all of the information regarding the disputed item, and report back within the time frame required by law. We review and consider the response to determine whether to accept it, reject it, or follow up for additional information. If, after processing, we find that the disputed information is inaccurate, incomplete or cannot be verified, we then delete that information, or modify that information, as appropriate, based upon the dispute and the results of our processing. If we do not receive a response from the furnisher or the vendor within the required period, we update the item as requested or delete the information, in some instances, upon reviewing the credit file and any relevant information submitted to us, we are able to determine whether the disputed information should be changed or deleted without having to contact the furnisher or the vendor. After we complete our processing, we send the consumer the results. In addition to the consumer's right to dispute information in the credit file with the credit reporting agencies, the Consumer also has the right to dispute information in the Credit report directly with the furnisher of the information. If the consumer questions the results of the dispute process, then they may want to contact the furnisher of the information directly or review the original information in the public record. Please refer to the original personal credit report for the furnisher or public records office name, address, and phone number (if available).According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a national Consumer Credit reporting agency's role in the dispute process is to review the accuracy and completeness of any disputed item which may include contacting the source of the disputed information and informing them of all relevant information regarding the consumer's dispute. In order to help resolve the consumer's dispute, Experian will review all relevant documents submitted by the consumer with the dispute and will forward such documents to the furnisher if Experian is unable to resolve the issue based on those documents. Consumers may also contact Creditors directly to dispute items reported by the Creditor. If the issue is not resolved, then the consumer Credit reporting agency must offer to include a Consumer statement on the personal credit report.Experian strives to achieve a high level of customer service for all the consumers they assist. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Experian's attached letter says that they need 30 more days to resolve a problem that they already had 30 previous days to resolve. I absolutely reject this. According to the CFPB they either have 30 days to validate the account (which they can't) or the account must be removed from my report. Experian meeds to remove this account from my report immediately.
Regards,

above mentioned consumer's Experian credit reportIf a bankruptcy was dismissed or withdrawn, it appears on the Consumer's personal Credit report because every action that relates to credit may become part of the Credit history. So even though the court did not allow the filing of the bankruptcy or the bankruptcy did not go through, the fact that the case was documented allows it to appear on the personal credit report.According to the Fair CreditReporting Act (FCRA), Section 605(d) (1), if a bankruptcy is withdrawn before a final judgment "the consumer reporting agency shall include in the report that such case was withdrawn".The bankruptcy dismissed withdrawn status will remain on the consumer's Experian Credit report for seven years from the filing date.Thank you for allowing me to assist you.
