Upon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the consumer.When a consumer disputes the accuracy or completeness of information on the personal credit report and tells us specifically why they believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete, we process the dispute as required by law. We contact the furnisher of the information or the vendor that collected the information from a public record source such as a court or other government office either electronically or by US Mail. We ask the furnisher or the vendor to conduct a thorough and complete investigation to verify all of the information regarding the disputed item, and report back within the time frame required by law. [As this company can fraudulently and publicly provide inaccurate information regarding my credit worthiness is a blatant violation of my civil rights. They do not seem to have any issues gathering inaccurate information they obtain from predatory companies, yet make it most difficult/impossible for the consumer they are hurting. Again I am demanding they remove items that are not accurate and fraudulent on the report they have in my name. The Chase Card with a credit of $60K is not mine and has been corrected on the other two credit reporting agencies several months ago. The $21 collection is from a company that makes a living from ripping people off. I have paid the so called client they claim they are representing in full and was done in the allotted time of the bill I received. Experian doesn't even have my correct employer. It is outdated by almost 15 years. Maybe its time to write our President ([redacted]) a letter and ask him to disband this outdated inaccurate so called credit reporting company and send all their Lazy staff packing......... ]

CreditReporting Act, entities who have certified to Experian that they have a permissible purpose may inquire about credit information. For example, organizations that have granted you creditor with whom you have applied for credit, or entities collecting on transactions that you initiated or on judgments rendered against you, are permitted to make inquiries on your credit report. Requests for your credit history remain on the personal Credit report for at least two years.Inquiries from credit grantors who request your credit information as part of your application for credit will display under the heading "inquiries shared with others" on your personal credit report. These inquiries display on your Credit report when it is accessed by others with a permissible purpose. These inquiries may affect your credit score. Other inquiries for your credit information are considered "soft" inquiries and do not affect your credit score. Some examples are: your current Creditors to monitor your accounts, other creditors who want to offer you preapproved credit, an employer who wishes to extend an offer of employment, a potential investor assessing the risk of a Current Credit obligation, an end user to complete your mortgage loan application, and insurance underwriting (auto or home). I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.In reading Experian's response, they stated that according to the FCRA, "a national credit reporting agency's role in the dispute process is to review the accuracy and completeness of any disputed item..." In addition to reviewing the accuracy and completeness of an disputed item, the FCRA also outlines other roles of a national consumer credit reporting agency during the dispute process. As I have stated before, according to the FCRA, a national consumer reporting agency also must provide, "(iii) a notice that, if requested by the consumer, a description of the procedure
used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information shall be
provided to the consumer by the agency, including the business name and
address of any furnisher of information contacted in connection with such
information and the telephone number of such furnisher" (FCRA 15 U.S.C. § 1681, Section 611 (6)(B)(iii)), which is the very information that I have requested several times and have yet to have been provided with, which is in direct violation of my FCRA rights. Since Experian is clearly aware of the FCRA rights, I would appreciate it if they would adhere to ALL of the FCRA rights and not just the ones that suit their needs. I have had an issue with Experian once before regarding dishonest practices when it comes to their dispute process, as a result, I do not trust their word when they say they have performed an investigation. I need the documentation to prove that a true investigation was done, but since they have denied me of my rights to obtain such information, I just want the disputed creditor deleted from my file, as stated in the FCRA. I have not asked for anything unreasonable, I only ask Experian to do nothing more than to adhere to ALL of the guidelines outlined in the FCRA.
