If, after processing, we find that the disputed information is inaccurate, incomplete or cannot be verified, we then delete that information, or modify that information, as appropriate, based upon the dispute and the results of our processing. If we do not receive a response from the furnisher or the vendor within the required period, we update the item as requested or delete the information. In some instances, upon reviewing the credit file and any relevant information submitted to us, we are able to determine whether the disputed information should be changed or deleted without having to contact the furnisher of the vendor. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I contacted 360 Mortgage, they provided me a letter stating their mistake, I provided that letter to Experian and they still will not correct the 30 day late - which is causing me hardship because I am not able to refinance my mortgage and is costing me more with the time they refuse correct the error.Regards,

This message, which will expire after 90 days, alerts Credit grantors to verify the consumer's identification in case someone is using their information without their consent. Additionally, our records indicate the Consumer's personal Credit report already displays a security freeze. We have mailed a current Experian credit report to the consumer for review.Regarding the consumer's request to have a Customer Service Representative contact her re: terms of her membership, this complaint is handled in a different Experian office. Upon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the consumes.[redacted] and [redacted] accounts are under investigation at consumer's written request received on 05/03/2016 in which she stated the accounts were a result of identity theft.The [redacted] account is under investigation at the consumer's written request received on 04/20/2016 and 05/04/2016 in which she stated the account was reporting incorrectly because it was a personal loan, not an auto loan.Our records further indicate that on 04/01/2016 we received correspondence from the consumer that included an ID Theft police report filed with the ** Inv. Branch, report [redacted] on 02/26/2016 and a Final Court Order dated 02/12/2016 and filed 03/03/2016 in the Fifth Circuit Court of [redacted], [redacted] State Criminal Division.On 04/08/2016 | contacted the Assistant Attorney General, State of [redacted] in [redacted] by telephone to verify the validity of these documents. The Assistant Attorney General requested copies of these documents which provided by fax. The Assistant Attorney General indicated to me that the police report was not valid because there was no police agency in the state of [redacted] by that name. He further indicated that the Fifth Circuit Court of [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] State Criminal Division State of [redacted] did not exist and the case number was not in a format that he recognized.Because we were not able to block the accounts and inquiries per the invalid documentation provided, we initiated investigations on the disputed information as requested by the consumes. Additionally, as part of our investigation process we provided copies of the consumer's correspondence directly to the creditors that were reporting the disputed information.If the consumer has additional information or supporting documentation regarding the disputed information, she may forward it directly to us for review.Thank you for allowing me to assist you. Today our office received your Correspondence of January 5, 2017,...

regarding the above mentioned consumer's complaint.
Our records indicate that we have previously investigated [redacted] on 11/9/2013. The information was verified as accurately reported at the bankruptcy Court by our public record vender.
According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Section 605 (d) (1), if a bankruptcy is withdrawn before a final judgment "the Consumer reporting agency shall include in the report that such case was Withdrawn".
If the Consumer disagrees with the results of the reinvestigation, it is the Consumer's legal right, under the FCRA, to add a 100-word statement specifying the nature of their dispute. The statement will appear with the item as long as the item remains on the Credit report. Any further Concerns regarding the disputed information may need to be directed to the US Bankruptcy Court located at[redacted]

regarding the above mentioned consumer's personal credit report.We are currently investigating the information with which the consumer disagrees. Upon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the consumer.When a consumer disputes the accuracy or completeness of information on the personal credit report and tells us specifically why they believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete, we process the dispute as required by law. We contact the furnisher of the information or the vendor that collected the information from a public record source such as a court or other government office either electronically or by US Mail. We ask the furnisher or the vendor to conduct a thorough and complete investigation to verify all of the information regarding the disputed item, and report back within the time frame required by law. We review and consider the response to determine whether to accept it, reject it, or follow up for additional information. If, after processing, we find that the disputed information is inaccurate, incomplete or cannot be verified, we then delete that information, or modify that information, as appropriate, based upon the dispute and the results of our processing. If we do not receive a response from the furnisher or the vendor within the required period, we update the item as requested or delete the information, In some instances, upon reviewing the credit file and any relevant information submitted to us, we are able to determine whether the disputed information should be changed or deleted without having to contact the furnisher or the vendor. Investigations can take as long as 30 days to reach a conclusion. After we complete our processing, we send the consumer the results.In addition to the consumer's right to dispute information in the credit file with the credit reporting agencies, the consumer also has the right to dispute information in the credit report directly with the furnisher of the information.If the consumer questions the results of the dispute process, then they may want to contact the furnisher of the information directly or review the original information in the public record.
