mentioned consumer's personal credit report. Our records indicate that on 6/3/2016 the West Asset Management account was updated to “Paid in Full” based upon a telephone communication from the consumer and the documentation received from her on 5/25/2016 which indicated the account was “paid in full" on 1/30/2015. Results of the update were provided directly to the consumer and did indicate that the account was paid in full.On 6/14/2016 the consumer again contacted Experian by telephone and indicated that this same account was NOT paid in full on 1/30/2015 but rather was "paid in full before being turned over to a collection agency”. The creditor responded on 6/15/2016 that the account was “Settled" (paid in full for less than the full balance).Today, we have again updated the account to “paid in full" based upon the documentation provided by the consumer on 5/25/2016. Results of this process will be provided directly to the consumer for review. At this time we must respectfully decline the consumer's request to delete the account from her Experian credit report.Experian strives to achieve a high level of customer service for all the consumers they assist. Hi, yes there is a third party working on my credit.[redacted]Best, [redacted].
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have submitted several times over the last few years copies of my police report & id-theft reports indemnifying me of all debts incurred upon my credit profiles due to id-theft. there's no reason as to why any credit bureau should not follow FTC protocol & delete the id-theft related items from my credit files.
