report. We are currently investigating the disputed information. Upon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the consumer.Regarding our investigation process, Experian contacts the source of the disputed information directly by letter, telephone, or through an automated verification system. We ask the source to check their records to verify all of the information regarding the item questioned, and report back to us within 30 days of the date that we received the consumer's request. Once we receive their response, we send the consumer the results of the investigation. If we do not receive a response within 30 days we update the item as requested or delete the information, and send the consumer these results.According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a consumer reporting agency's role in the dispute process is to investigate the information to determine the accuracy and completeness of any disputed item by contacting the source of the disputed information and informing them of all relevant information regarding the consumer's dispute. If the issue is not resolved, then the consumer reporting agency must offer to include a consumer statement on the personal credit report. The FCRA does not require that the consumer reporting agency obtain documentation such as the actual signed sales slips, signature cards, contracts, etc., nor does it require that consumer reporting agencies act as mediators or negotiators in account disputes. Please forward any documentation directly to the Creditor for review. Please refer to the original Experian personal credit report for the business name, address, and phone number (if available) of the source that verified the information. If I may be of further assistance, please contact me directly.Sincerely,[redacted] Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate Consumer Affairs Special Services [redacted]

mentioned consumer's personal credit report. Our records indicate that on 6/3/2016 the West Asset Management account was updated to “Paid in Full” based upon a telephone communication from the consumer and the documentation received from her on 5/25/2016 which indicated the account was “paid in full" on 1/30/2015. Results of the update were provided directly to the consumer and did indicate that the account was paid in full.On 6/14/2016 the consumer again contacted Experian by telephone and indicated that this same account was NOT paid in full on 1/30/2015 but rather was "paid in full before being turned over to a collection agency”. The creditor responded on 6/15/2016 that the account was “Settled" (paid in full for less than the full balance).Today, we have again updated the account to “paid in full" based upon the documentation provided by the consumer on 5/25/2016. Results of this process will be provided directly to the consumer for review. At this time we must respectfully decline the consumer's request to delete the account from her Experian credit report.Experian strives to achieve a high level of customer service for all the consumers they assist. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 1[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Experian Sent me a letter in the mail dated July 13, 2017 REF# [redacted] stating I have no credit history and that I should better identify myself signed by [redacted] in Consumer Affairs department.  Complaint Id#1[redacted]. My most recent current credit report only has one account on it. However when I pull my report online there are several accounts I have no knowledge of that don't belong to me that I have disputed. My full name is [redacted] Older address was [redacted]. Current address is [redacted]. Experian has not provided me with an updated credit report at the time that I requested. What I'm viewing online doesn't match the current report I have in my hand. I have disputed all the accounts that I requested to be investigated and haven't recieved anything back from this credit agency. Experian already has a copy of my driver's license, utility bill, social security card, and voter's registration.  State and federal laws require that I am provided with an updated credit reports after my disputes have completed. Experian has relied on data furnishers incorrect information rather than independent investigations. The consumer financial protection bureau stated laws clearly being violated by Experian regarding my file. The accounts to be removed were BrightStar, Capital One (this account was already removed but then Experian reinserted it without the 5 day window notification required by law). Navient solutions ( this account has passed the statue of limitation) on top of the false reporting. Fingerhut is not my account. If these accounts have already been removed which is why the current report in my hand no longer lists them then I need to be sent another updated report with the updates to match online. Please assist me have Experian accurately remove these accounts and update my current report.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have disputed both bankruptcies with Experian and they only coming back saying verified. The only thing that is being verified is my name. Being a victim of identity theft and the address provided for the bankruptcy is not my address. I disputed that address that was linked to other fraudulent accounts and those have been removed from Transunion and Equifax. Experian is the only credit bureau giving me grief about this matter. I specifically reached out to the court who did state that they do not verify public records or provide this information to the courts. The ONLY thing that will resolve this matter is removal of BOTH bankruptcies
Regards,
