Very timelyAlways available and very good closing service

I applied online for a first time homeowner mortgage on a condo in Plymouth, MNI was connected via chat with a lady named SunniWe chatted and she advised on a special program and my interest rateIt was a no brainerThings were very smooth, upload this, print and sign that, all the while Mike Pratt kept in close contact with meI knew they were busy with other customers, but they always responded quickly and gave it to me straightMy closing was smooth and painless

any interest rate experience with quicken loans? the baddest service I ever went through

My experience with Quicken Loans was mixedThe rate I received was very good and all of my initial questions were answered quicklyHowever, it took almost months to finally close on my loan and the projected loan amount fluctuated regularly without a clear explanation as to whyI refinanced my current mortgage so that I can pay it off years earlier but the closing costs seemed pretty high

I wanted to share a very positive experience that I had with Quicken LoansWe bought our home in financed by an adjustable rate primary mortgage and a second mortgageI tried unsuccessfully over the years to refinance because once I said there was a second mortgage I got the "we cannot touch that." But my quicken loan specialist listened and heard me out and found a way to help us refinanceThe electronic process was seamless and transparent, and went without a hitch: from processing the application, to reviewing and signing documentation, to the closingI would highly recommend Quicken Loans for all mortgage financing needs

I was very pleased with the service I received from the first phone call to the lastThere are so many good things I could say about the staff at Quicken Loans, but that would take way to long to writeI will leave it at this; I would recommend Quicken Loans to anyone who is looking to refinance, as I did, or a first time home buyerEveryone I delt with thru the process was friendly and most importantly knowledgeable in the area they were helping withTed, Danylle, and Mike made me feel as if we were friends thru the whole processEven when it came to closing, Quicken sent the notary to my house to sign papersVery convenient! Again, I would recommend Quicken Loans to everybody

I cannot speak for everyone at Quicken, but Kevin Kassab and Anthony Iatonna were great to work withThey worked exceptionally hard to meet our closing date and did not fail to deliver

Quicken loan worked extremely hard to get our refi closed even with a few difficult issues on our side to tackle We where able to drop almost two (2) points off from our old terrible mortgage company! Quicken was very helpful and was able to discount our closing cost quite a lot of money to keep our new payments well below our old payment Thank very much quicken loan!

Watch Out! They will rip you off right at the end! They have on of the higher closing cost that you will find out there mine was over 10KTo start, I had an origination fee of over 2k which is just a way of saying commission feeI was given credit towards this cost in the form of a credit of $They could not close my loan within days, so they extended my closing outThey then missed the 60-day window to close; I was told because of this it would charge me around $200, even tho they never charged me a fee the first timeI thought that was odd but okThen they finally schedule my closing and hours before we were to sign, I look at that closing cost, and they removed the credit of $that they had promised meI refused to sign until it was fixed, and no one was around they could fix it on Quickens endThey next day I was call and told there was nothing they would do about it and that interest rate was going up, so I would pretty much have to sign it or lose my rateSo now I have to sign for an extra $or lose my rateThey are making over $150,servicing my loan, but I guess that not enough money for themIf you don't watch every dime and even if you do they will rip you off in the endStay away! Quicken Loans, Incwas the best business experience I have had I was kept informed of everything that was being done to assist me in refinancing my mortgage I was contacted daily and occasionally by several of their employees to make sure I understood the information that was e-mailed to me or the information that was being discussed Thanks, Quicken!! I appreciate your hard work in assisting me and making my load lighter!!

Everyone that contacted me and I worked with was polite and courteous Things went very seamless and as quickly as possible

The process was simple, streamlined, efficient, and the QL team kept in regular communication with me with updates and any needed items that required my input Each employee I spoke with was extremely professional and the gentleman who came to our house to do the closing was awesome (MrMinor) I have already recommended QL to my co-workers!

My husband and I needed a loan to purchase a house in late JanuaryWe talked to Quicken Loans and were given pre-approval and then a full loan estimate sent with an approval letter within two daysMy husband has an unusual work schedule, and only works every-other week (hours/days)Because of this schedule, he is consistently paid overtime pay which results in half of his paycheck or more each pay periodWe informed Quicken of this in the very beginning of the process and they assured us we had the loan Over the next month, we submitted all of the forms Quicken needed, and continued to work toward closing on the houseWe paid earnest money, due diligence, had the inspections and appraisalWe were getting extremely excited as the closing date came closer and closer However, three days before closing-- on a Friday, Quicken called to inform us that my husband could not use his over-time pay as part of his income because he had not yet been working at his place of employment for a year (only months)The underwriter was looking at the loan for the first time and saying we weren't approved, despite the fact we'd previously been told we wereThis meant that we were $short each month on our paymentsWe worked with our home insurance to get this number down to $However, Quicken would not grant us the loan without a co-signer or coming up with $of income that wasn't from my husband's overtime (which was an extra $1,a month) We ended up losing the house, the earnest money, due diligence, and the money from inspections/the appraisalWe talked to banks, other loan agencies, and other real-estate agents and the fact that you can't use overtime unless you've had it consistently for a year seems to be pretty common knowledgeQuicken should have had an underwriter look at the loan long before days before closing, or better yet let us know that the overtime pay did not count toward our income We ended up losing the house and all of the money up until that point due to this error on Quicken's partI gave a two star review because the last person from Quicken we were in contact with was beneficial and tried to help us resolve the issue as much as he could-- however, it was too late at that point

Great experience and very friendly. I had no issues. They were quick and professional. Highly recommended.

Just completed a refi with Quicken. I've done several refis over the years, and have bought many homes, and worked with many financial institutions. This mortgage process was by far the smoothest that i've ever done. I'm a very organized person and always have all digital documentation ready to go before I start. I was able to get the process started via phone, then submit everything online and be done with my part in just a few hours. It took a few weeks to get to closing and that went perfectly as well. I'm thrilled with how it went and would use them again.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone involved with the refinancing process were professional and extremely helpful.

I approached Quicken Loans about refinancing my house to a lower rate, lower payment, and lower repayment term. I wasn't asking for any money taken out. I had to pay $500.00 (Good Faith) down payment for the appraisal. I worked on the terms, came to an agreeable amount, interest rate, and duration of the loan. All that was left was the appraisal. I had just looked at my Zillow Estimate ($201,000) and Rabobank ($208,000) as guides for my loan. I was shocked when the Quicken Loans estimate came back at $185,000. After digging into it, I found that out of ten recent sales in the last six months, they chose to use the lowest three (two of which were foreclosures). Immediately my loan terms changed, they were adding money to the monthly payment, adding PMI, etc. I even noticed that my escrow amount changed by $25.00. I called and asked for explanations. "Well, we are JD Power award winners, and we are a trusted name in the mortgage industry, yada yada yada." I asked how in the world did my Escrow amount go up $25.00 after your appraisal came back $15K-$20K lower than the others. My taxes hadn't gone up and clearly you think my house is worth less. "Well, the insurance amount we originally had was a lot lower than the actual amount came out to be." How did you come up with the original amount? Throw at a dart board? "Well, we don't have access to that so we had to ask you for the amount." So I gave them the original amount, it didn't change from then until now, and somehow it was off. The total games they played, changing of the terms, lowballing me on the appraisal, is exactly what I was warned about. I tried to give them a chance and they just try to manipulate me. Oh, when I called them on it, they informed me that if I brought $3,000.00 to closing I could get everything back down to the original terms. What a crock. Avoid these people like the plague. Go with a real bank or real estate company.

Very pleased how the whole refinance process was handledEveryone involved stayed in touch from beginning to end I will most definitely be referring any friends or relatives to quicken loansBoth myself and my husband give it an A+ Thank you Quicken Loans From the Palos household
