This is ridiculousThey offered information, instead of anything useful they inundate me with phone calls and offers for their products through email and postNone of the offers are even relevant to me based on the information I gave them They have cemented their name in my mind as a company to NEVER do business with

Quicken? Rocket Mortgage? More like Quick-SAND and Turtle Mortgage Steer clear of these guys! My experience was the complete opposite of what their advertising statesTheir ads say: “Our caring team members want to make sure that you have the best experience possible.” “Our members are obsessed that I have a great mortgage experience.” • Won the JD Powers award for best customer service for years • We have an A++ rating with the Revdex.com Because my home had a guest house as part of the property, they decided that they could not do my because the appraiser could not find any other homes nearby with a guest house to compare it to I said I didn't need the extra value of the guest house, so don't count it as part of the appraisal They said that didn't matter, they couldn't fund it They told me all I had to do was find one comparable house nearby with a guest home, and they would fund it So I contacted a realtor and spent some time to find homes within miles that had guest homes (were actually on my street, but they didn't count because they weren't for sale) I narrowed it down to the best matches and submitted it to Quicken THEN they said the homes weren't close enough, so didn't count Talk about bait and switch, and not living up to your word So I decided I needed to find another lender who could do the job In ten days, the other lender closed with meUnfortunately, Quicken at that point agreed to do the loan But I had already switched and felt like the new company deserved the loan, so I cancelled QuickenNow - on their side, they DID finally agree to fund But not until after basically telling me repeatedly that they could not do it AND - I DID sign the paperwork, which committed me to paying for the appraisal fee (BTW - the new company not only didn't charge me for the appraisal, they didn't charge any fees, either) I expected Quicken would agree that that fee should not apply because they took so long and I did the majority of the work on the loan They refused to waive the fee I talked with multiple people in customer service - way up the ladder, and they all said that since they ultimately agreed to do the loan, then I have to pay the fee I countered with the fact that I never would have started talking with another lender until they made it pretty clear that they could not fund it because of our guest house, and their only answer all along the way was that they couldn't help me Which takes me back to their advertising I listed at the top of the review, which states they are OBSESSIVE about providing me with a great mortgage experience Frankly, they provided me with one of my WORST experiences, and to make matters worse, everyone in their customer service deptsimply said they agreed to do it ultimately, so I need to pay the full fee I honestly don't know how they could have won those awards they listed My mistake for signing with a company that requires $up front in the first place Don't make the same one I did Rick G

The process of refinancing was easy! We were able to do everything through email and by phoneWe even closed at our own house

ALL your staff, Jackson, Penny, etc etc etc were great to work with even with soooo many steps, documents, phone calls, emails, etcthe process went quickly AND this may lend the opportunity to discuss the etc etc etc There are just TOOOOOO many folks to deal with and it gets VERY confusing as to who they are and what their process is in making the loan happen Would be nice to cut down the # of folks we deal with, but if that slows the process then nevermind!

Aweful experienceI've gone through loans in my lifetime and they were all painless until this I used them on a new constructionTodd Sebesy was my agentHe quoted me a figure in FebruaryOver the next several months I would receive rediscloire statements from him that were way inaccurateAfter showing him the side by side on two occasions, on in April and one in May, he acknowledged that they were wrongBut he said he had no control over those docs and that they were auto generated by the system and that I didn't need to worryMeanwhile I'm spending hours and hours retrieving old statements, receipts, drafts document, etc in order to meet all of the requirements they haveThe detail they require is incredibly extensive and their method of explanation (everything must be uploaded) is completely in-user friendly Back to Todd...finally I am at the time of close and I get my redisclosire doc and it's STILL not accurateHe added another $in origination fees from what he quoted (even though the rAte stayed the same..yet the Fed had gone down since my original quote) Worse though, he had the wrong figures in rebates from the builderNow I am delayed further and have to rent a weekly hotel because we're not closing on timeAnd I'm stuck with them or I lose my deposits if I pull out I can't explain everything that has gone wrong and we still have not closedI'm rambling here...months and months of frustration with them built up

Excellent customer service and communication. Quick and efficient closing. Highly recommend.

My experience was a three month long ordealInstead of having one person to handle the loan, there were several people involvedI never knew who I would get when I called They had all of my income information, yet "forgot" to consider a big chunk of it until I got very angry and told them about it At the closing I noticed that they were adding property taxes into my mortgage payment when I am exempt from them due to my income levelThey also didn't handle the escrow account properly; they did not figure my wind, hail or hurricane coverage in itIt's going to take awhile to get it all worked outNot a happy camper!

Quicken loans did a fantastic job getting me a mortgage. I am very impressed with the entire experience.

I had a great experience with Quicken and all the people I dealt with on a regular basisI found them to be very professional, concerned about inconveniencing me while doing all the necessary diligence in refinancing my loanThey were thorough, pleasant and serious about working on my behalf I would do it all over again in an instant

Excellent service and everyone was extremely helpful and kept me informed throughout the process. Will definitely recommend to anyone I know looking to refinance.

I was disappointed in a couple things; The customer support person always gave a sterile answer to questions, would not give info on problems or cause of delays, the process took far too long, two rate lock extensions Not well organized, info that should have been requested early in the process, not requested until after rate lock expired I am impressed by your system

My wife and I have been looking into buying a home for some timeI had tried a couple different things and decided to try the Rocket Mortgage application I had seen advertised Within moments I have an offer and an initial approval, although very cloak and daggerWhen I asked how much the approval was for, the processor, Marco Nanni, said "Oh, it is a large amount." OkI scheduled a call with him to talk about options, and the following day, I went to a new construction site, fell in love with a home, and began a mortgage through the builderI advised Marco the next day that I would no longer be needing his services and thanked him for the work he had already done Then he called my wife, then he called me, then he emailedI replied, sternly advising we will no longer be in need of his service and for him to cease and further attempt at communication The next day he emailed, and called my wife againI texted him, and, again, advised him to discontinue any further contact Today, just two weeks later, he emailed me to ask if I had any questions with our loanI was quite a bit more stern in requesting he remove all our contact information from his files and that if he contacts us again, I will file harassment chargesThis is utterly ridiculous I am sure Quicken Loans has helped many people with loansHowever, they obviously have a problem with rejection

I have had an amazing experience refinancing my home with Quicken Loans and in the process have saved myself an enormous amount of money and will be paying my home off in half the time! I initially was just curious about your ad and decided to call I spoke with Sam GCaramagno who was so very helpful and had all the answers I needed to make an informed decision As a result, Kayla Young took over and before I new it the deal was sealed!

Going with Quicken Loans for our mortgage was the most painless experience we've ever had and I would recommend them to anyone I was kept up to date on everything I never once had to call to make sure things were OK I was informed by my own representatives I uploaded all needed documentation to the portal and was able to see what else needed to be done I've dealt with mortgage companies in the past and this, by far, has been the best experience ever Super friendly people, very professional, and I felt like they had my best interest at heart

Great communication and quick response times

The Quicken Loan Team that worked on my refinancing was responsive and professional every step of the way. The refinancing was complex because of lien releases from almost 20 years ago that had not been recorded, a confusing Warranty Deed with an asterisk reference to one of the co-owners of the property, a non-relative co-owner that would remain on the title, but not on the loan, and an IRS payoff and lien that required working with their timeline. Because of these complexities, there were a number of communications back and forth and some adjustments that had to be made along the way. The ability to upload documents in real time, interact via chat, or leave messages at any time of the day or night kept the process moving. I'm not sure that I would have been able to do a similar kind of loan with a local or regional banker. In fact, the recommendation from the Mortgage Banker at the beginning made it possible for me to achieve a level of financial freedom that I would not have thought possible. I am grateful for everyone involved in making this happen. I also look forward to being able to manage everything on-line moving forward.

I was very surprised at the speed that I was contacted Initially MrDan Klinck was the first person that I had contact with him I could not believe how much was done just by our first conversation I was referred by MrKlinck, to MrJeff Hurley Mr.Hurley was very nice and thorough I had occasion to speak to other staff and they were all very nice and courteous I closed within a month I am very surprised that all was done so quickly I had even a notary come to my house to get the documents signed Your company's name is very accurate, and I do appreciate in the manner that I was treated Thank you, Rosa Flores Castellon
