Quicken Loans was absolutely amazing to work withWe had just recently been working with a lender through a different bank for months prior to calling Quicken Loans, which was an absolute nightmare for us from day The first day we called Quicken Loans and spoke with Brandon Thompson, he was so personable, efficient, and did his job so well!!! Within a few minutes Brandon had a pre-approval for us, within less than hours we had an appraisal scheduledThrough the second part of the loan process we worked with Chris Mcilquham who was just as awesome!! Every time my husband and I spoke with Chris on the phone he was more than helpful, made us feel confident with how the process was going, and truly went above and beyond to get the job done for us!!! We almost lost this home purchase through our previous lender but Quicken Loans pulled through for us and we closed in less than days!!!! I wish we could have personally shook hands and hugged each one of these men for doing such a wonderful job!! I know these men don't know the faces of the people on the other end of the phone most times, but our family is forever grateful to you for saving this home purchase! Quicken Loans (QL) responsiveness is impressiveI entered something online and was immediately contactedI decided to go with QL after checking with my current lender for a RefiThe process was quick and my only concern was the amount of emails and texts and calls I was getting whenever QL needed something - it was overkill and at times annoyingMy only complaint - I had to do a split closing due to my spouse being temporarily out of stateI was informed about a $fee for the split closing late in the gameThe fee to me was a nuisance fee QL should absorb given the amount of interest I will eventually pay to them
This was a great experience...All went smoothly and our loan specialist, Rachel Spaccarotelli was a pleasure to work withHer guidance was clear and timely

I am five months paid in advance on my mortgageWhile in the hospital I received an email stating my escrow increased raising my paymentIt also stated I could pay the difference of the increase in one lump sum or have my mortgage payment increased to pay the differenceI sent a check immediately which quicken loans received then I receive a statement not reflective my August payment or my payment for the increaseRip off, yesWhen I called I was told my payment was in suspense and would not be appliedSo as my payment sits in limbo more interest is accrued making quicken loans richerI would advise no one to deal with his companyThey are not truthful and deceiving
Avoid at all costs applying for a loan with this company First: they heard my high credit score and immediately wanted my business However, turns out they did not offer the most competitive rate for a refinance loan (found out after they did not complete their work by the contracted date) Then, it was not until the day AFTER the 'close by' date did their 'other' team seem to care I provided all documentation to them weeks before the 'close' date - and they sat on it until days had passed When I asked for my deposit, I was advised it was for the credit report and the appraisal and the balance could be refunded I asked for the receipts for the credit report and appraisal - and instead of 'personal' response was told to now call their 1-number DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR LOAN PURPOSES
All I can say is they are scammers should not be in businessThere appraisers are hearing impairedAll they want is for you to take a loan and roll it over into the refi to fix things that totally make no reason or sense to fixMy dealings with them were horrible I wasted two months of my time and out the window to get refusedI have good credit no bills money in the bank pay mortgage on time and still get refusedBad people
My overall review of the Quicken Process is quite goodI was pleased with my coordinator and he proved to be quite knowlegeableMy questions were answered quickly and the process went smoothlyQuite pleased overall with everything
I was very nervous to begin this processBut, from beginning to end- no pressure; thorough explanations of all my inquiries; and a really good online processVery satisfiedI closed in days!

I have worked with Quicken twice now, and hands down the most efficient loan and closing process out thereI think they have perfected the system
