Furthermore, Quicken itself is distinguished from other lenders because it doesn't just lend money to anyoneYou have to prove that you have means to repay it, that you don't already have too much debt, and that you are who you say you areIn the post financial world, this is a golden experience
I was also very pleased at the speed with which the entire transaction moved from start to finish

THE WORSTI ABSOLUTELY REGRET EVER SPEAKING TO QUICKEN LOANS
$gone, increased home insurance bill, credit score hit with hard inquiries instead of one until
I clicked on an add on Facebook that offered to give me a lower rate online, next thing I know I had somebody on the phone saying my situation looked great and I could have a fairy tale mortgage with them, rushing me to start refinancing as they would take $off closing costs if I decided to move forward
Next day I have this guy harassing me with emails and calls to send my paperwork in, I had given him the information I had, including the value of my home, which I got from an appraisal I had done years before (and I mentioned that), He asked me then for my credit card number to charge the $off he mentioned before as a deposit, why is that? he said, its just to make sure that you have the intention to proceed, that way QL don't have people coming to get free appraisals, but this will be refunded at closingI asked again, will I get this back? Am I going to get the loan? I don't want you getting my hopes up and then come back later to say It won't happen, his answer was "everything looks great, listen, I have closed many loans in Louisiana and the only way Quicken Loans makes money is by closing" and because of his deceptive speech I signed his papers
They then asked me to call my insurance and get more coverage so they could give me the loan, so I did, (of course my bill got higher too), they hit my credit score twice (hard inquiries) on may 7th and may 8th that won't go away until 2020, and then I got an email: Underwriting approved everything and we are officially rolling!
Right after that I got tossed around to other members at the company, I could hardly keep up rushing me to get more paperwork within hrs or for the same day and then their appraisal came in$50,lower than the appraisal I hadWhen I disagreed with the appraisal the daily calls stop and now it was me calling them to get the appraisal checked, corrected or get a second opinion, since I was being compared to houses and of them weren't even in the same area (they were on the other side of the train tracks), I was told then that they would not question the appraiser and it was on me to prove them wrong by sending them other comparables, I'm not a realtor and I don't even know where to get that information from, so they said, well we are sorry we cannot give you the loan, but what about refinancing and getting the same kind of loan you already have with a 4.75% interest rate (when my actual rate is lower at 3.5%) really????
I asked for my deposit back but their records indicated that they had actually spent more than $dollars on my account and that Quicken Loans had come with a loss on this one !!!!!!! Quicken Loans?????
At the end they would not even give me a call back, only way to contact them was through the chat windowOh! and the cherry on top, after all of this I get a letter from the bank I have my mortgage with"you requested your payoff statement", this loan is due june 01, Total amount due $179,and I'm freaking out, right? So there I go again having to talk to QL to check if they screwed me over even farther

I have bought and refinanced many times over the past years and have never dealt with agents more pleasant and hard working than Quicken LoansChris Solinsky and all the other agents worked hard to process my loan and closing in as short a time as possible
The lone process was quick & professional I only have one complaintThey pulled my CREDIT REPORT times, which isn't good for your score I would use them again
They were very personalMy husband and I had a very wonderful experience with themThey were very nice and answer all our guestionsIt was a pleasure to work with them
The entire team was Knowledgeable, Professional, and not Pushy They made a hard math problem easy to understand, In all my years I have never bee so well pleased.buying a home

My new mortgage totals about $100,Our house was valued at between $300,and 400,
The individuals with whom we dealt were professional and competentWe experienced no problemsThis is what we expect when dealing with organizations such as yours
Not the best place to go for an investment property loanInitial contact was great, but after submitting requested documents (some multiple times) and getting an initial closing statement, was shocked at the lender fees Inquiry gave only generic comments regarding government requirements, etc Advances were prepaid and too much time had elapsed to change lendersFurther, when final documents were reviewed the "phone application" omitted financial information that borrower feels would have been beneficial to underwriting, and possibly lender fee adjustments
Very pleased how the whole refinance process was handledEveryone involved stayed in touch from beginning to end I will most definitely be referring any friends or relatives to quicken loansBoth myself and my husband give it an A+
