I had a very good experienceI did a refi on a mortgage loan that was with QuickenIt went quickly and communication was very goodThe only thing that bothered me was they asked for something that they had from my refi in Apparently they didn't connect my old information with the newThey asked for a signature from my husband who passed away in and then a copy of his death certificateHis name was removed from the mortgage in (quite a process), so Quicken had all that information Other than that, everything went well
My overall process took less than daysAll my reps were knowledgeable and helped me hand in hand to get necessary paperwork and all my ducks in orderThe loan finally closed after giving them my whole life story!! They dig deep into your finances and life to make sure you are ready to take on such a huge stepThe closing cost were super high, I thought you just needed to 5% down???? But somehow the fees associated with closing, are fees within your state that has to paid in order to get a loanSo all in all, I am very satisfied and would recommend and use them againThank you so much!!

My experience with Quicken Loans was phenomenalQuicken Loans personnel kept me informed on every detail of the refinancing my home The Quicken Loans website was very customer friendly and if I ever had any questions my Client Care Specialist, Salvatore Militello was there to answer my questions And if he couldn't answer my question, Joseph Caruso the President's Club Mortgage Broker was a phone call away! Let me leave it this way, "These guys are good"!!!

Was not sure how it would work, not having a person to sit down through the process I was very happy, my loan person was always available by phone, and the notary that came to our home was knowledgeable and very professionalWould highly recommend quicken loans
So far I'm firmly in the negative camp I'm doing a refi just to take advantage of a good rate environment And, we decided to shorten our loan term to make it better line up with our expected retirement timeline
I decided to try this due to the initial pitch and assurances of how easy it would be to deal with them Our loan is not complicated The loan to value is very attractive (we have a lot of equity in the home), it's a primary residence Both my wife and I have good credit We are both employed although technically I'm "self employed" because I am a partial owner/partner in my employer
In any case, the document requirements keep changing And after initial assurances that they would not need corp tax returns, they then wanted them Then they kept adding document requirements So, I get frustrated and start researching them online which I wish I had done before hand) and what I am learning is that they are totally untrustworthy and am now concerned about possible bait and switch on the final loan That is (if we get there) At this point, I wish I had never given these guys a shot and would prefer just to get a refund (they required a good faith deposit up front)
We will see if they turn this around with at least good loan terms But, now concerned as they apparently bait and switch often based on other reviews I've now read
I just tried to call Qucken for technical help The man on the phone was impossible to hear and understand: there were multiple people in the same room making phone calls and the man's accent was not comprehensible Very poor technical service
I am pleased with my experience I would have preferred to have dealt with only one person for the entire process that way we are always on the same page with questions and answers received Too many people were involved in the process I was so unhappy with the bank that had my loan I was happy to look elsewhere to refinance my loan Todd Sklarek was wonderful to work with and I would have been 100% satisfied if I could have gone from start to finish with just him
The mortgage process itself is a big pain rated in the top of most stressful endeavors you will ever go through quicken loans made it much easier for me everything was online and if I ever had any problems Nick Bean would go above and beyond to help me out in any way he couldI could not have done this process without his help and for that I thank him he really deserves a raise quicken loans if you catch my driftBut quicken loans really made the whole process much easier with alot less hair pulling!!!!
Quicken Loans is without exception the most professional loan company I have ever dealt withThroughout the process the documents were prepared by me and forwarded on-line to their systemIf they had any questions they got back to me quickly and allowed me to provide additional information to move the process forwardAt the end of the process I had a high level of satisfaction with the processAs a quality professional I can fully endorse their process and their level of Customer SatisfactionWell done Quicken!
Was a bit frustrated with some of the information that was requestedWe own a second property and for some reason, they insisted on getting homeowners insurance coverage information, even though the property is owned, free and clearUnclear why this information was even needed
Information was requested multiple times for several items, even though the information had already been provided
Closing was very convenient, as we were traveling out of state and they were able to have a local notary conduct the closing where we were staying at our hotel
