Was a bit frustrated with some of the information that was requestedWe own a second property and for some reason, they insisted on getting homeowners insurance coverage information, even though the property is owned, free and clearUnclear why this information was even needed
Information was requested multiple times for several items, even though the information had already been provided
Closing was very convenient, as we were traveling out of state and they were able to have a local notary conduct the closing where we were staying at our hotel
Very professional teamAll of the paperwork and instructions were completed online, everything that was needed from the beginning of our process till the end was online and went like very smoothlyI would HIGHLY recommend them to friends and family

Each of the Quicken Loan employees I dealt with were professional and polite From the very first person to the last, I was able to ask questions and express concerns comfortably I did find that information was asked for and then more the next day, and so on The people at UPS know me by name after all the faxes I sent! I loved doing the whole process online

Back in February of this year my husband and I started house hunting I own a home that my family rents from me The mortgage is through Quicken so I decided to stay with them The first team got the ball rollingNot to bad for a couple weeks Then, all of a sudden a different team takes over They don't seem to have all the paper work you sent the first team Ok, resend againIt's starting to get stressfulWe pre-qualifyNow comes time for the appraisal Oh, by the way this was an FHA loan Crazy rules!!! that's another story The appraiser had us repair at least eight different things he found wrong Get this, paint a rusted clothesline pole that wasn't even on the property Paint an entire furnace roomScrape and paint an entire deck and the best is this one Change over from a septic system to the town sewer system Ok no problem except the borough has no plans in the immediate future to do this! We said we will in the future but it is not feasible at this time Well he would not accept this Quicken loans were able to over ride this decision The underwriters would not So we tried to make phone contact with the solution expert No one calls you back Just a cold unfriendly email saying, "Sorry we can't help you" We wasted months and now the seller wants to put the house back on the market! Thanks a lot Quicken Loans
Overall, my experience was positive We experienced some issues at the closing as Quicken Loans had incorrectly drawn up some of the closing documents which had to be redrafted by Quicken Loans and transmitted to the title company before we could finish our settlement With the exception of the time lost waiting on the documents to be redrafted and transmitted, the issue was resolved satisfactorily
The entire team was Knowledgeable, Professional, and not Pushy They made a hard math problem easy to understand, In all my years I have never bee so well pleased.buying a home
All I can say is they are scammers should not be in businessThere appraisers are hearing impairedAll they want is for you to take a loan and roll it over into the refi to fix things that totally make no reason or sense to fixMy dealings with them were horrible I wasted two months of my time and out the window to get refusedI have good credit no bills money in the bank pay mortgage on time and still get refusedBad people
I have been A customer of Q/L for about yearsIn spite of the fact that set up payments on "auto with draw from my checking, and had funds to cover the payment 100% of the time, I felt like I was treated like a "dead beat" by Q/L when I applied for a refinance to consolidate our home improvement, a few credit cards, and the balance of our mortgage
My new mortgage totals about $100,Our house was valued at between $300,and 400,
I have purchased multiple homes through the years, and refinanced homes multiple times I would rate Quicken Loans so far above any experience I have ever hadNo other mortgage company even comes close It was so easyThe banker at Quicken Loan made the process simple and fast, we closed our loan in days I have had other experience with other mortgage companies, where the paperwork was never ending Quicken Loans was so superior, and had access to most everything that was needed in order to close the loan I can't say enough how great and wonderful our experience with Quicken Loans was I would never use any other company for future refinance or purchase's Thanks Quicken
