The team from Quicken Loans accomplished what I needed with the refi

Loan officer withheld information, and the senior researcher there backed him up for doing soIt's their company policy to just get you to apply Once I did, and started coming up against problems, the loan officer, who had been calling me 2+ times a day prior to me signing - stopped returning all calls!

You were fast and professional

To date I have been on the 'buyer' side of financing or refinancing at least and and on the 'seller' side of real estate transactions involving land, commercial, personal residential, single family rental, and apartment buildings, I can say my most recent refinancing experience with Quicken Loans is absolutely among the top three or four smoothest transactions I have experienced
Kudos to whoever designed and built their modelI am used to doing business face to face with a live person and had some early reservations about conducting a real estate transaction entirely online until the final document(s) signing, but from early on in the process, I saw advantages to the electronic communications
Questions can be asked and answers received in a timely fashion without playing the previously frequent 'phone tag' game or trying to find the 'right' person to talk toIf a question came up in the middle of the night, a question could be posted and an answer would be received the next morning; and if the question needs to be escalated to another individual, it can be forwarded internally by QL to the right person to respond
I was able to scan and electronically send copies of all required supporting documents without the hassles of hand delivery, mailing or resorting to costly overnight delivery to speed up the process
And finally, when I did speak to someone by phone they were always courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and professional

We felt the loan took longer than it should haveSeveral employees changed positions during out transition and we were left in the darkWe had to do the initial documents twice because they were lost in the employee shuffleI did like how everything was done on-lineIt was VERY convenient! Also loved that a mobile noatary came to our home for the final signatures!! They were true to their word and honest in our dealings

Quicken Loans does not live up to their name.They are the slowest company I have ever dealt withThey made misleading claims to me while doing business with meThey also seem to be incompetentThey say they are engineered to amaze but I wasn't amazed by one thing they did

The overall experience with Quicken Loans was very positive and fast

Overall this was a fairly smooth process I liked having my own personal webpage to upload required documents, see what was needed and communication with the associates Everyone was very quick to respond to questions I posted online The entire process took weeks from start to finish (refinancing my home loan) with the last two weeks being waiting for closing date to sign the papers and paying off the old loan
The first individual I dealt with did have a vague salesman quality about him that I could see would be a little unsettling for some Not the same as walking into a bank and having a discussion about lending optionsSlightly more high pressure
All documents are online so you can read and re-read at leisure I would recommend going an and looking daily since documents did update periodically and changed things like closing fees and what I would either owe or get back at closing

I wound up dealing with Quicken Loans after I filled out a form online to see if I could get approved for a loan to buy my first home The next day I was contacted multiple times during work and I told each representative that I would not be available until after 5:p.mto speak with them For a week straight they would call at least times a day, during work hours and set an appointment to call me at 5:p.m No one would ever call me After about weeks of non stop harassment, I was finally able to speak with someone in the evening I told the representative that I was trying to see how far away from home ownership I was and what I would be approved for and the interest rate None of this information was provided to me, just a lot of fast talk before I was told my credit score needed to be a few points higher before they could approve me, and forwarded me to a credit specialist to help get my score up I explained that I had just paid off credit cards and a vehicle and everything should hit my credit in about a week A week later I was contacted again and found out that my credit score was now high enough to get a loan The loan agent confirmed my credit was now where it needed to be and asked if we had found a home and I told him there was one I was interested in I sent him a link to the home so he could check the address with the USDA database to see if it qualified for a USDA loan He called back a little later and said he couldn't get me approved for THAT home because it wasn't in an approved area, but to use the website to check other address and let him know when I found a home I liked I was left with the impression that I had been approved for a loan and just needed to find a home That night I emailed the loan agent and asked how much I was approved for and what my interest rate would be so I would know what price to look at in homes I also hired a realtor to assist me in finding a home in a USDA approved area The next day I called the agent and was informed that they were accidentally using my fiances income with mine (he wasn't going to be on the loan) and because of this that they cannot approve me for a loan because my income is not enough to qualify for a loan specifically designed for low income families (because I have student loans) The agent knew my fiance would not be on the loan from our first conversation At no point in dealing with Quicken loans were any of my questions answered with an honest, straight forward answer They always talked around my questions and didn't give me any actual answers until they told me I was too poor to buy a home This has been the absolute worst customer service experience of my life and now I have hard inquiry's on my credit when they should have realized in our first call that my income was too low to get approvedI would not recommend Quicken Loans to my worst enemy

Worst placeThey claimed that I filled a home refinance profile on their system and calls me everyday about time a day using different numbersEven after asking their reps to remove me from their listNot sure how they got my info, but If someone tells you on phone that they are not interest then I assume you leave them alone rather than calling everyday using different numbers

Wonderful experience, anymore said would only take away from the professional way my loan was handled

I wanted to share my experience with Quicken Loans When I decided to refinance my mortgage, I picked Quicken because of an advertisement I saw onlineI applied online and was able to attach needed documents very easily A loan officer named Craig called me to help along with the process and make sure exactly what I wanted to accomplish with the refiHe was very nice and helpfulI would definately recomment him and Quicken The loan processors , Melissa and document team were very helpful and kept in touch with me throughout the entire process If I had question or concerns, I just typed them in the online application and they promptly responded by calling or sending me a message via the same method I usedI did do a FHA which required some repairs to my home before the process could be completed but that was beyond their controlThe entire process took about days but that was only because the weather delay the repairs to the houseOnce the follow up inspection was complete, the closing was set and the deal was done I would highly recommend Craig ( [email protected] (800) 774-1933, ext) as a mortgage banker Give him a call

Wonderful experience! I am in my sixties and have purchased homes and refinanced many times This was by far the best experience I have had I was hesitant because it was all done via the internet and mail I was assigned a team of experts in the process and could access them anytime I didn't have to because they checked in with me often I used the Quicken Loans app which listed all paperwork and progress every step of the way It was great to be able to access loan documents anytime I wanted They arranged for a notary to come to my home A few days before the notary arrived I received a package of documents, one for me and one for the notary
My documents were in a tabbed folder, each tab listing the document contents
Oh, and I got a terrific rate as well Was able to lock it in, and when the appraiser couldn't get it done in time, they extended it at no charge
Exceptional service and exceeded my expectations They would be my first call if I needed another loan

I was so stressed with gathering the paper workIt was a very busy time for me to start the processI was in conventions and had to everyday send in something for daysI felt very stressedI knew my credit was good and could get the refinancing doneI have mixed feeling with some on the team .Hats off to MrDentand Misha SimmondsI will give them an A
Please let the client know up front what is needed

I would highly recommend Quicken Loans if you are looking for a mortgage or are wanting to refinance I contacted Quicken Loans to refinance my mortgage for a lower interest rate I called them in February and everything was done and finalized by mid March, first one that I have done that moved so quickly
Everyone that I spoke to at Quicken Loans were very friendly and very helpful, they made the whole process enjoyable, most companies can make it frustrating
I also have to take a moment to brag about their website All the paperwork and the majority of the messages were done through the MyQL website, which was so easy to use I think I only had to print or pages, and it was so easy to upload the documents through the site I cannot say enough about their website
Quicken Loans has definitely done everything right! I look forward to having my mortgage with them, which seems odd to say about a long term debt

I am very thankful for the opportunity given to me by Quicken Loans to refinance my home at a lower interest rate My experience was entirely positive The staff members with whom I worked work professional, courteous and exceptionally helpful This was a life saver for me after my negative experiences with my former mortgage holder

The process of refinancing was very quick and easyAll of our documents were uploaded online and we were kept in the loop all the timeIf we had any questions we knew who to contact and received answers very quicklyVery satisfied with the process
