WARNING DO NOT USE QUICKEN LOANS, OR THEIR ROCKET MORTGAGE, THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES THAT HURT YOUR CREDIT SCORE!!!! The first has hard check they "disposed"of my information has zero follow through, and wouldn't even give me a name of who in their company deleted my information to be held accountable; second hard check I had to call times to finally get a hold of an agent, which did not give me any of the information I requested at all, did another hard check (with me very hesitant & resistant) assuring me that it would only count as one hard check since it was within a week period, then another agent about a week later tried vigorously to get me to agree to yet another hard check on my credit (which I absolutely refused seeing as this would've been hard checks within a month from this horrible company quicken loans & their rocket mortgage), finally when I realize that it is in fact hard checks I called to have them remove one of them as it was their fault that they disposed of my information (not to mention assured me that it would only count as one) they refused to take off the hard checkI'm okay with one hard inquiry, that's fair, but to be treated like this, and have them do nothing but hurt my credit score and waste my time is absolutely infuriating, I've been nothing but nice, polite, and patient during the while process, even after they refused to correct their mistakes effecting my creditI just want to warn potential customers DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!!

Please let everyone know that Do Not transact any business with this company They trained their employees to go out and "rob" people in desparate need for financial help To make it short: tell everyone to steer away from Quickens Loans or else you will lose a lot of money in the long run I am the victim of this company

My wife and I purchased a 2nd home in North Carolina and the whole Quicken Loans team was great! They worked hard with us to close within our timeline of 26-daysWe understood that it would also require work on our part to help make the deadline, which meant great communication We very much appreciated the online technology that Quicken Loans usesIt made things very convenient and we could work on things in the evening and they would be there for them in the morning and they always processed things within hours and kept us notified Patrick (senior mortgage banker) and Billy (our senior purchase specialist) were great to work withPatrick even gave me his cell phone to call him if we ran into any problems Great team and great work! Thank you for all your help and support on us closing on our 2nd home in 26-days!

Quicken and my rep worked with me to get my house refinanced I had some work to do but they were patient with my schedule and process and stuck by me for months! It was the opposite of the Rocket mortgage but that was my choice Everything was supportive and helpful Could not be happier and would highly recommend

Fast and Easy The way to do it

This is my third refinance with Quicken Loans over the past years The representatives have always been knowledgeable, courteous and personable during these transactions There was no question unanswered, no pressure to commit, no [redacted] dropped I would recommend Quicken to family and friends

I had great experience with Quick & loans they were professional and have good customer service and were quick to close my refinance and Robert did a good job highly recommended!

These folks asked for way too much information compared with the other lenders I talked to Polite, professional -- very well scripted, rather, but completely uncommunicative when It came to answering my one simple question

Some of my My husband and I biggest complaints where the fact at the beginning a quote was given to us with no cost at closing neededWe where also told the cost of the appraisal would be refunded back to us Next the appraisal did come back lower then the Morgage banker had guessed it to be, much lower then it should have been for the work we had completedWe where very unhappy about that but we where told that should not effect the closing costs or the appraisal being refunded We didn't find out they where until we where in the middle of the process from the solutions consultant MichaelThe only thing that we changed after that was from a year fixed to a year fixed I had expressed my complaints then to him but he really couldn't do anything to help meHe did explain the process of the refinance that the Morgage banker didn't ever tell us Throughout the process we had to several times ask what's going on because nothing would be worked on our loan Towards the end of the process the costs changed several times with us to keep needing more money to close when I had already let Michael know if we knew up from that we needed money to close we would have never gone through with the process I am very disappointed with all aspects of quicken loans, I made that clear in my survey as well

Working with Quicken Loans and with an agent that was too close to my mortgage company should have been a big NO NO! Everyone planning to buy a home expects the process will be stressful and at times frustrating, but my experience with my loan officer and my real estate agent was at times painful The entire process is online, so it is slow and takes a lot of time, take vacation so you can sleep in front of your computer and worst if your loan officer does not know how to use a computer and will ask you for the same paperwork a couple of times It started with Jay, a loan officer that pre-qualified me for a conventional loan without looking at my taxesThe only reason you should go with Quicken Loans is because of their conventional loans and incentives, so after a week or two of paperwork I am told I do not qualify for a conventional loan, but that a “credit report” specialist will help me to gain a few more points and I would qualify Quicken Loans refers me to a company that will match me with a real estate agent, that’s when I meet David Acosta at Keller Williams in West Hollywood It started bad, the market in Los Angeles is fast pace and very little inventory of homes, he would not call back, text or reply to my emailsSo I signed up to Zillow, Trulia and other apps and started doing my own research I saw only a few properties before I decided to buy one and most of the properties I found them online, it was not my agentHis job was to open the door and while I was viewing the home he was on his cellphone discussing other mattersI would not mind, but I thought it was not professional, at least take a minute to check the home, tell me about the amenities, sell me the home I found myself constantly following up and making sure he was not dropping the ball, most of the time it sounded like he had dropped the ballWhen you need to close within a timeframe, you need the peace of mind that your agent is on top of every detailI ended up discussing the possibility of changing real estate agents and mentioned it to him, but that did not make any difference David kept insisting it was a matter of paperwork and the loan officer not doing the extra effort, but that I would qualify for a conventional loan and me being a first time buyer, I trusted him, but he could not deliver and I ended up paying huge sums of money in closing costs and taxes and getting screamed at by my loan officer I guess my 1-bedroom home was not enough (in terms of commissions), so he suggested I buy an investment home "with all the money" I would get back (credits)I thought it was a crazy idea at first, but many people suggested I should do itThe idea ended up being extra stress on top of everything else because David would not follow up on it, I had to fill out all the paperwork with a different loan officer When I had the issues with the loan officer screaming at me and asking for paperwork I had already submitted, I explained the situation to David and he said he would talk to Quicken Loans so he would not work with us, it did not happen, I continued getting calls from the loan officerI was not sure where was the loyalty since the real estate agent was referred by a company related to Quicken LoansThey knew each other and had worked with each other in the past The last issue I had was during closing, my real estate agent left on a trip to New York, so during the closing period I did not hear from David not even once and his assistant was having a hard time reaching him for important matters related to the closingIt was added stress, when he got back he was supposed to pickup the keys and do a final walkthrough of the homeI was asked to do it myself, and at the end I was not able to do a final walkthrough and had to sign without looking at the propertyYour buying your home without making sure all the repairs were done, the property had no additional issues, it was awful I was harassed over text message by the Quicken Loans loan officer, texting me late at night asking me not to get him in trouble, blaming someone else for his screw-ups, he even offered to pay for the extra days of rent I would have to pay for causing a delay in the closing date from his own personal money, which freaked me out since this is nothing personal I am sure David must be great for big homes, he is friendly and it seems like he knows his stuff, but for first time buyers or people looking for something that will not bring him huge commissions, I would not recommend him I am still waiting for some paperwork he said he would bring three days after closing and it’s been almost a month since I’ve been at my new place and he still has not delivered it, not very professional
