Overall very satisfied with Quicken Loans Process was made easy Underwriters made a couple minor mistakes but was cleared up and taken care of quickly 1st mistake was they stated my HOA was an over community and wanted the bylaws It was cleared up within two days Other mistake was linking my BJ's Wholesale club credit card to a lean on the house This was also cleared up quickly If those two things didn't happen - it would have been perfect Would definitely recommend Quicken Loans

My Experience with Quicken loans was a very fast ride indeedI applied October 31st and I searched for my home early November and I am now living in a beautiful home as of December.In less than minute of clicking submit for a loan application I had a phone call coming throughIn less than a few minutes I was approvedEvery employee I talked to in the month long process was very energetic and quick to return phone callsThis is a plus as well as a negative.At times it became little over bearing as I was constantly being barraged with phone calls throughout the day and pushed to sign documents literally within the time frame of a couple of hours which was followed up by a " if you do not do this within a couple of hours I cannot guarantee you this deal" which I kind of took it as a tad over bearingAt times I had to tell the employess to literally BACK OFF and allow me ample time to review the documents to which you are asking me to sign within MY time frame ask I do work 50+ hours After all I am the customer and I am making a pretty considerable purchaseAgain the employees get pushy and insist that I sign now and we can review laterThat I did not like and I would respond" no , I will review and contact you tomorrow" Secondly what made me opinion-ate Neutral is that fact that as the closing came nearer I was called with the news that my $dollars due at closing has changedThe Quicken loans employee stated " we were a little off on our calculations and you are actually going to have to bring $to the table"To which I responded " You were a little off?! You were way off target! I will not pay that much more"In the end they lowered my closing to roughly $dollars at closingHowever I was still not too thrilledI believe someone wanted to have a good Christmas I chose Quicken loans over other companies because of the great interest rate and APRI also went with them because I needed to only pay 1% of the purchase which was at closing In the end that all changed If you decide to chose Quicken loans be prepared for a very fast ride at a huge investmentThey will aggressively push you to closing and quite possibly turn the table on your closingI am not looking to be little but I am a hardworking man looking to provide a home for my family and when performing the loan application I understand that they are all estimate but when the final loan statement is issued I do not expect a HUGE change

My experience overall was very positiveLots of detail and you must be patient as you find your information My only neg was I was asked for proof of divorce that happened in 1966...logic was applied and we moved forward...thanks to great customer relationsThank you

Absolute worst decision I have ever made was choosing Quicken Loans as my mortgage company We signed a contract stating we would be LOCKED in an interest rate of at a loan amount of Later they randomly raise that amount to 4.99, and when I talk with them about lowering it to the amount we discussed when we signed all the documents (kind of locking me into using them as my lender due to how close closing was), they wanted us to "buy down" our interest ratecharging us (3.5% of loan) There is shady shady stuff going on here, and the miscommunication is unreal, I can talk to a guy on the phone and all of my documents reflect something completely different than the conversation we had Communication is poor, they make PROFITABLE decisions once all documents are signed with the intent to move forwardI strongly regret picking this mortgage company

We have had our mortgage with Quicken Loans for about yearsThey contacted me and told me they had reviewed my loan and that it was a good time to refinance our loan When they did their calculations they said that we could get our Mortgage Premium Insurance removed and after further researched, they said they could take our Home equity loan and roll into our primary mortgage and lower our mortgage payment significantly (over $200) We went back and forth providing them with the paperwork they neededThen they told us an appraiser had to come out and do a walkthrough During this time our area was hit with bad windstormOur fence got blown over and a lot of the shingles of our roof were blown off It was a pain to schedule time with the appraiser to come out On the appraisal the Appraiser noted the damages needed to be fixed We worked hard with our insurance adjuster, roofer and fence subcontractors to get the repairs completed in a timely manner Quicken was calling us every other day over day period, telling us, we just need to have the repairs completed and that everything great and they were ready to schedule a closing Once the repairs were done and after routing the our final invoices a couple of times to them, they stopped calling We followed up a few times A couple weeks later we get called from another QL person, who is a solutions specialist, he says he was asked to step in to expedite our loan to close He informs us the loan could not be closed because they our Home equity line was not on the books for months I wasn't very happy with this decision and asked why hadn't the caught this sooner We had been working with them for almost days since they first contacted us I reiterated they had contacted us to refinance we did not contact them I asked what else could be done, they had been calling us almost daily for the last few months telling us that things looked great and they were just waiting for us to schedule closing Now almost months later they are saying this cannot be done The situations gets worse, as the solution specialist, then says he will look into just refinancing our first mortgage to get the PMI removed and to lower our payments He contacts me days later and advises they cannot refinance our Primary either because of a short sale that was not on the books for years I said now wait a minute, why wasn't the Short sale an issue before when they offered us the two options initially!!...silenceWe had fully disclosed this upfront and were told it was far enough back and they had pulled a credit report on day All Jake could say is how he could understand how I would be frustrated with the situation and to wait a few monthsFrustration doesn't even begin to describe my feeling Why would I want to go through this untimely process all over again Why contact us, give us two options, say everything is great for days, send an appraiser out, and then come back and retract both optionsWhy doesn't their screening process catch things in the beginning They called us every other day saying things are great, we can pull the trigger as soon as repairs are done Quicken Loans wasted tons of my time in phone calls and emailsThey switch employees out so that no one can take the blame They did all this to just tell us they understand! I would not recommend this company to anyoneThey are not competent in running their business Quicken Loans also had an Executive Complaints specialist call me Catherine informs me since we didn't make a good faith payment that she was limited in what she could doShe could just review the situation and then would review with executive teamI informed her that there was no request from QL to make any good faith pmt I asked that she get back to me and advise how this situation would not happen in the future She said she could not share what changes would be madebut, would contact me once she got to the bottom of it This does me no goodI asked her what if a satisfactory resolution is not reached do I contact her She said No, she was only to investigate and advise the Executive team I believe they involved another employee to just divert attention away from the real problem Again, Very dissatisfied with the way QL does business They say they understand but, it is just lip service

My refinance experience with Quicken Loans is easily explained in one work...AWESOME!! Lowest rate, easy online process, great loan agent Mike Iacobacci and quick closure Thanks to all, Tom G

They pre-approved us quickly and I felt like I should go with them- paying a bit more for the big-name, #lender satisfaction rated company Their service did not pan out Much of the communication was second and third hand - "what I was told was..." "what I am hearing is..." This made me feel like I could not trust those I was working with - that they were not being honest with me The terms disclosures often did not match what I was told verbally - until the final disclosure I was often told "Just sign this, we need it, but it will get fixed." Never good in any deal as we all know, written trumps verbal As I got more and more frustrated, I escalated, but it took days to get anyone else involved They need to understand making a customer wait when they are angry, just leads to more anger After it was all said and done - I went with another lender I received a follow up call from Quicken to discuss what went wrong That person was apologetic and supportive Where were they during the process, or when I escalated? I had a bad experience, yours may be better My advice - if you work with Quicken, engage at least one more lender early in the process (it will cost you an appraisal ~$500) - you may be pleasantly surprised what the other lender can do

Overall this was a fairly smooth process I liked having my own personal webpage to upload required documents, see what was needed and communication with the associates Everyone was very quick to respond to questions I posted online The entire process took weeks from start to finish (refinancing my home loan) with the last two weeks being waiting for closing date to sign the papers and paying off the old loan The first individual I dealt with did have a vague salesman quality about him that I could see would be a little unsettling for some Not the same as walking into a bank and having a discussion about lending optionsSlightly more high pressure All documents are online so you can read and re-read at leisure I would recommend going an and looking daily since documents did update periodically and changed things like closing fees and what I would either owe or get back at closing

Like most things that you do in life something can go wrongSuch was the case with my Quicken loan process When my appraisal was done things were required to be repaired I became upset and took it personallyBut because this company is so well organized, when I voiced my complaint they had the right person to call meThis man explained to me very calmly and with much wisdom and concern why these requirements were made of meHe even offered a refund if things were done wrongly in the companyI agreed to the repairs,(took my time) and made themNow I have a beautiful home that I am proud of with a mortgage that has a lower monthly note At first I was upset (like many of those who are making complaints on this company), then I begin to think as I was talking to the guy This is a COMPANY and they are in businessThey want to remain in business The things they are asking me to do are in my favor My loan process was longer than I thought it would be, but it was entirely up to me I chose to take my time and make my repairs This company was very kind to me, especially Bobby GravesI suggest that you keep a positive attitude

My printer to my computer isn't working I told this to my team member I just wish she would have told me to go get a new printer with a fax because it would have saved me about in fax's I didn't realize I would be faxing and picking up faxesOther than that I really liked working with the teams at Quicken Loans and they all did a great job and were very helpful thanks Quicken Loans

Awesome is the word we would use to describe our experience with Quicken Everyone at Quicken, no matter what department or stage, were efficient, fair, and truthful Cannot recommend them high enough Only regret is not going to them sooner

WARNING THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES THAT HURT YOUR CREDIT SCORE!!!! The first has hard check they "disposed"of my information has zero follow through, and wouldn't even give me a name of who in their company deleted my information to be held accountable; second hard check I had to call times to finally get a hold of an agent, which did not give me any of the information I requested at all, did another hard check (with me very hesitant & resistant) assuring me that it would only count as one hard check since it was within a week period, then another agent about a week later tried vigorously to get me to agree to yet another hard check on my credit (which I absolutely refused seeing as this would've been hard checks within a month from this horrible company quicken loans & their rocket mortgage), finally when I realize that it is in fact hard checks I called to have them remove one of them as it was their fault that they disposed of my information (not to mention assured me that it would only count as one) they refused to take off the hard checkI'm okay with one hard inquiry, that's fair, but to be treated like this, and have them do nothing but hurt my credit score and waste my time is absolutely infuriating, I've been nothing but nice, polite, and patient during the while process, even after they refused to correct their mistakes effecting my creditI just want to warn potential customers DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!!

Our experience with Quicken Loans in the purchase of our new home was a pleasurable experience Everyone was nice and very prompt about paperwork and closingWe were informed and kept up to date every step of the wayThanks to all the staff that played a part in our home loan Tracy and Jill R

I would reccommend Quicken Loans to anyone for a home mortgage They communicated professionally and at the correct timesI had all the information I needed in plenty of time to review it before closing I am a hard customer, since customer service seems to be a thing of the past, so I would not be reccomending Quicken Loans if they were not worth it If youre looking for a mortgage, or refinance, definitley contact Quicken Loans and see what they can do for you

We were very happy with the entire experience of our with Quicken Loans! Jeff Jones was the Best Banker we ever had! They treat Veterans better than Navy Federal Credit Union! Returning calls in real fast time!
