We’ve been in our new home for a couple of months now and our enjoyment cannot be complete without thinking of Erin Doyle at Quicken and how we almost didn’t get inWe had options for loan companies from our relocation company and in efforts to obtain the best option, we reached out to a couple of the approved mortgage companiesErin from Quicken was indeed quick to respond but we chose a more familiar source as this mortgage company had also been who we've banked with for over a decadeIt was halfway through the approval process on a home we had fallen in love with that red flags began to go upIn panic, I called Erin and although Erin knew we had chosen another mortgage company she was so very kind and selfless in giving information about some of the detail and requirements from a certain loan programWho does that? Doing something for nothing? I was amazed and gratefulFast forward...It was down to the wire on our closing and everything seemed fine with our current bank when it all started to unravelIn desperation, I called Erin again and I still don’t know how she did it but she literally saved our home purchaseOnce she took over, using the tools that Quicken had to offer, along with her heroic customer service abilities, not only did we close on the home, the process was smooth and painlessSimply put we love her and owe this home purchase to her and QuickenI guess my question from Erin would be, which room in our house does she want named after her? A heartfelt thanks, ErinWe are so very gratefulI hope this sincere review helps others to find youYou are a priceless commodity for a home buyer
Rocket Quicken Loans is by far the best Loan experience my wife and I have ever had Customer service was spot on from my first inquiry through closing and funding I started my inquiry to an ad, just curious to find current ratesQuicken sounded very good, though I delayed for days, shopping with our current lender (refi with cash out), and a few othersI then applied with Quicken July 12, signed Closing on Aug 3, and was funded, as advertised Aug Best interest rate and very low points In my over years of buying real estate, I was amazed at the efficiency of the entire process; always helpful and courteous staff; the ease and accuracy of collecting all required documents; all completed online until the :min of signing Closing papersI doubt any others can duplicate their process, even if many may try to imitate itI would still be submitting more docs with my current lender! Excellent, from start to finish
I have been A customer of Q/L for about yearsIn spite of the fact that set up payments on "auto with draw from my checking, and had funds to cover the payment 100% of the time, I felt like I was treated like a "dead beat" by Q/L when I applied for a refinance to consolidate our home improvement, a few credit cards, and the balance of our mortgage My new mortgage totals about $100,Our house was valued at between $300,and 400,
I worked with Quicken to refinance my home I started with an agent that quoted me a ballpark figure for fees, and the rate for the loan amount based on preliminary questions After deciding to go with them, I had the following issues: They raised my loan amount without notifying meThen when I brought it to their attention, they just did not understand why it had changed The agent that told me he would be my sole person throughout the process passed my account on to another agent to complete the process, and that person could not answer any of my questions He would defer me back to the original guy They increased my fees by several thousand dollars stating I would get "most" of it back through lender credits They were baffled when I stated their fee structure left me paying over a thousand dollars at closing, when I was told I would not have to pay anything at closing I am very dissatisfied with Quicken and would highly recommend against using themIf you do go with them, keep a sharp eye on the figures I mention above Very deceitful IMO
Overall, SO happy with the Quicken Loans experience! It was so easy to submit our information online, and the communication couldn't be beatThey even closed our loan in my office so I didn't have to schedule time away from workThe only negative is that the loan closing documents were delivered to my office but not addressed to Me directly, so anyone in my work place could have access to my loan informationI happen to be the one to open the package so no damage was doneI gave that feedback to Quicken, and they responded quickly and appropriatelyI would definitely recommend them to others

Was a bit frustrated with some of the information that was requestedWe own a second property and for some reason, they insisted on getting homeowners insurance coverage information, even though the property is owned, free and clearUnclear why this information was even needed Information was requested multiple times for several items, even though the information had already been provided Closing was very convenient, as we were traveling out of state and they were able to have a local notary conduct the closing where we were staying at our hotel
The members of Quicken Loans were all extraordinary, professional and made me comfortable enough to understand their product and tools making the entire process easy Steve Britz,, my rep and Dan Hileman guided me through the whole process and reached out to help me provide whatever was needed The Rocket Mortgage account is incredible; it's proficient and an easy toolThoughtful and competent staff and highly effective tools lead to satisfied clients That is the way to do business Thank you all!

Quicken Mortgage known as Rocket Mortgage took all my information over phone and after days they said that I was pre-approved for a 90,Loan and not even days before closing they said that they could not do the loan because I have not been in the house that I'm leasing for 6mos then they said they would push the closing of loan back a few months so it will be close to 6mos even knowing I told them I had over a year in rental history, further more they took a appraisal fee when they push back closing then Mr Eric came and still denied my loan after he inform me that underwriter agree with the loan closing July instead of June I was very upset about the whole process and made to believe my loan was approved and it wasn't

Quicken loans denied my loan and called me a liar I recently received a master’s degree from a major University in South Carolina and the home I own is in South CarolinaI have owned the home for the past yearsI wanted to take advantage of today’s lower interest rates and decided to apply with Quicken Loans to refinanceHowever, equipped with my recent college degree, I decided to reward myself by taking employment with a company that allows its employees to temporarily work anywhere in the nation and internationallyWell, I was on a work assignment in Florida when I decided to apply for a refi loan with Quicken LoansAfter applying and providing Quicken with all requested/required documentation, Quicken employees responded that they did not believe the home I wanted to refinance was my home only because I used a Florida postal box to receive my mail in a timely manner while I was on assignmentIn my opinion, logical business sense tells me that any lender would favor and appreciate a potential customer who is conscientious enough to want to stay on top of their bills even while temporarily away from their primary place of residenceBut, Quickens interpretation of my efforts is that I am NOT a valid homeowner in South Carolina simply because I rented a p.obox to receive and pay my bills on time while on assignment in Florida I did not work so hard to become a homeowner, earn a master’s degree and land a job with a great company just to be called a liar when I am reaching out for help So, needless to say, I am very disappointed in such a large company with such an antiquated policy since the typical hard worker with good credit in this economy cannot always fit into the perfect conventional cookie-cutter qualifying process
