Every person I dealt with was knowledgeable, courteous and responsive to my requests for information The broker, assistants and closing staff followed through on everything I had been told at the beginning of the process I would, and have, recommended Quicken Loans, Incto friends and family members

Everyone and I mean everyone was terrific - had the answers to my questions, if not, found the answer and got back to me quickly - when problems did arise they were quickly and easily corrected Thank you Quicken

You are the bdi Adazi of Quicken Loans has my reviewThank you for being so polite, patient and professional with meSincerely, Carol McDougal

we refinanced a rental house in Riverside CA with Quicken LoansOur experience with Quicken Loans is excellent, I would highly recommend them anytimePrior to contacting Quicken Loans we had tried other companies, due to their lack of know- ledge the transactions were never completed and we almost gave up the refinance of our propertyOur daughter recommended Quicken Loans and sure enough the refinance was completed to our total satisfactionGood Company and good people The Fitzgerald Family,

My husband and I were referred to Quicken Loans by a close friend of ours after they had a very positive experience with themI went online and before I had even finished the online application I recieved a call from themFor the next hour or so we went through all of our info with Shevelle AndersonShe was great with explaining everything! We were approved to move forward in less than an hour and a halfWe created an account where we could upload all the necessary documents neededIt was all very straightforward and simpleIf I had any questions Shevelle was right there to answer them promptlyWe already had a house picked out and an accepted offer to purchase so this really sped things up! At this point we now began working with Josh PowellHe was very personable and attentive, making us feel as if he was really working for us to get things moving quicklyAs things progressed we had a few bumps we encountered on our end with the appraisal ( because the land was in the process of being re-surveyed) but they were quickly resolved and we were up and running againJosh was great at keeping us up to date on the progress of thingsHe is a real asset to his company! So in less than a month we were closed on our house-- April was our application date and we closed on the 25th of May! Oh yes-- and we even got to use a coupon from our friends for $off our closing costs-- SWEET! I would highly reccomend them to anyone!! I have read some of the negative reviews and have come to the conclusion that a lot of the problems were not Quicken-- they can not control appraisals or regulations that the government puts on lenders these daysOur experience was smooth and went wonderfully!! Thanks Quicken!!

Quicken Loans, Wow I can't say enough......I was really, really, impressed by the service I got from Jason, at Quicken Loans (and his staff) We had our home re-financed, and he helped me move the through the process and was able to help me secure a new home loan I got through the online application quickly and securely and they answered all my questions, as I was very nervous about refinancing and going through the whole "application process" on-line But, my fears were quickly squashed as working with Jason, was very easy and I really liked Quicken Loan's constant communication with me, via e-mails I have to say It was easy and amazing way to apply, and I am so relieved I called Quicken when I did If you are waiting to get a loan, DON'T, ...These are the guys you want to work with and MOST importantly, they don't rush you ..and they want to work with you to "service you" and help you with your loan, while fully DISCLOSING" everything they should They are on top of their game Hey it's your "most important asset" so why not work wit the experts who have the most experience Ok Good Luck!!!!! Thanks again Quicken Loan's, Jason and staff ....Another Happy Customer...treated professionally, with respect and kindness Patty D./Hollywood, FL

Quicken Loans liedOn 4/4/I started a refinance with Quicken LoansThey told me my appraisal would be free but the VA required that I place a $deposit which would be returned when the loan funded(They failed to add that if it did not fund the deposit would be forfeited) I specifically asked if any money would be coming out of my pocket, as most lenders cover appraisal costsShe assured me I would not pay for itThe appraiser they sent was subparHe ignored the fact I had a new roof and new solarHe called my hardwood floors laminate and he listed the age of the home correct on one form and wrong on anotherThe appraisal came in too low to fund the loan they pointed out that I had signed a document saying the appraisal fee was non-refundableMy mistake for letting her rush me through the documents but she lied on their behalfStay away from Quicken!!!! Update: On 5/I received a call from Quicken Loans and spoke to LauraShe said she would review the phone calls and if the loan officer failed to tell me that I would not receive my deposit back the Laura said she would work to get my deposit refundedLaura called me back today and said she had found where I asked if money was coming out of my pocket and the loan officer said no, that when the loan funded I would get it backLaura said this showed the deposit policy was properly explainedI asked if there was any part of the conversation where the loan officer explained that the deposit would not be returned if it failed to fund and Laura said noShe stood by her belief that a half right response was a proper explanationI stand by my assertion that Quicken Loans plays by shady rules and I recommend you run, not walk away from themThey don't tell the truth and I failed to slow down and read every document I signed because I thought they were honestThey are not

At the beginning of the loan process, we informed Quicken Loans that we had to be out of our current residence by 4/ They informed us that it would not be a problem and that they would set the closing date at 4/ That sounded good Everything went along fine and then approximately a week or two before when we were supposed to close, we received a call that they needed to back the date up to 4/ This was an inconvenience, but we were understanding Then, less than a week before the new closing date, they said they needed to back it up to 4/ This was now a major problem as I had already booked a moving company, requested time off of work, etc But, seeing as how there was not much I could do about it, I shifted my time off work, and called about a dozen moving companies and managed to find one that had an opening on 4/ And then, the unbelievable happened Quicken Loans called and said they needed to back the date up to 5/2! They not only backed up the closing date for the 3rd time, they pushed it on beyond the drop-dead date we told them about at the beginning of the process Not only that, they were totally uncaring and flippant about the fact that it was causing significant hardship The conversation was something like: Quicken Loans:"The new closing date is 5/2" Me: "That is unacceptable We have nowhere to live after 4/ We have no way to handle this What can be done to still make 4/29?" Quicken Loans: "I don't know, but the date is 5/now." I originally thought going with Quicken because I thought that a company of their size would have the resources necessary to get things done in a timely manner I was very wrong A company of their size means that they don't need to care if they cause hardship to a customer here or there as long as the bulk are happy And I'm sure it works for them The majority are happy according to their reviews But I have no doubt that given our situation a smaller lender would have put more effort to making sure they didn't leave us homeless My suggestion, if you want to go with Quicken Loans, that's fine But, you better hope you don't end up in a difficult situation, because they will not go out of their way to help you

This was my second refi with Quicken, the first was smooth as glass, the second one was about like dealing with most mortgage companies (a pain in the backside)@ one point after approval I almost canceled the loan I would say that Quicken is probably no better or worse than most mortgage coThey definitely will not be my first choice when looking for a finance co

Using Quicken Loans to refinance and pay off some cc debt was a great decision From beginning to end, everyone we dealt with was caring, helpful and professional Megan Young, our Client Care Specialist, was particularly special Megan kept in touch with us regularly to keep us informed as to our status and see if we had any questionsI believe she went above and beyond her duties to make sure we were comfortable with the entire process We would confidently share our experience with anyone looking to buy or refinance a home Thank you sincerely

Service was awsome communicate was amazing returned calls fast answered all my questions kept me up to date on the process and assisted me when needed what a 5star company You all rock!

I Franklin THad a great experience with QL, they gave me a chance when others Banks said NO because of my financial situationI was able to get a 3.50% years loan on my 7% years So, I will forever be grateful for the lower % rate Carly Zollo from QL was able to get meThank you from the bottom of my heart She made it simple and easy, she was the difference maker on my situation

I submit a Star review with my experience with Quicken LoansVery fast re-finance I’ve ever experiencedAlso very professional team that said the exact process to the pointInitial application to closing date approx1/weeks Thanks Pieter & Tasha

All around great experience with all team members of Quicken They always kept in contact and answered any questions we had quickly

My overall experience was goodThe initial loan officer really collected the information very quicklyI was amazedThis was remarkably faster than either of the previous financing organizationsAlmost everything was able to be signed on lineThere is a very well organized checklist of action itemsT The annoying aspect of the interaction was the frequent multiple phone calls, emails, textsYes, I want to get my refi throughBut I work a lot, and sometimes it takes me a couple of days to find what I needThe nagging got so bad that I had to notify EACH source to knock it off, that I was working on it Another annoyance regarded a former they wanted me to fill outI had no clue how toThere was FINALLY a nice lady who took the time to go through the questions and how to answer themShe was very patient and helpful I would use them again, but room for improvement

My experience with Quicken was very goodThey were very helpful, quick to respond and overall I would highly recommend to family and friends Thanks again

I've have been with Quicken Loans company for about yearsI've made contracts with them times, each time to my benefit especially since rates came downThey have kept me informed all though the process Their Staff is professional and Courteous, and Patient especially for me since I always ask a lot of questions, emails and phone calls and the website made process quick and understandable Robert Heinze Acworth,GA

The representatives were polite and very early in the process proactively reached out to gain my business My experience would have been improved with clear and concise communication (i.e stating that submitting my tax return would expedite the process and later following up with requesting 4506-T to be signed which I had to sign several times due to by QL rep)What prevented me from signing 4506-T from the beginning? Additionally, timely follow up would have made the loan process less frustratingAfter submitting information there would be an approximate week delay if changes/updates were required vs frequent and consistent calls to gain my businessLast as my loan began to proceed forward there was inconsistency between representatives on statusOne representative would state a particular document was sufficient and a different representative would inform me what I originally submitted was not sufficientI would have to resubmit more supporting documentation

Quicken? Rocket Mortgage? More like Quick-SAND and Turtle Mortgage Steer clear of these guys! My experience was the complete opposite of what their advertising statesTheir ads say: “Our caring team members want to make sure that you have the best experience possible.” “Our members are obsessed that I have a great mortgage experience.” • Won the JD Powers award for best customer service for years • We have an A++ rating with the Revdex.com Because my home had a guest house as part of the property, they decided that they could not do my because the appraiser could not find any other homes nearby with a guest house to compare it to I said I didn't need the extra value of the guest house, so don't count it as part of the appraisal They said that didn't matter, they couldn't fund it They told me all I had to do was find one comparable house nearby with a guest home, and they would fund it So I contacted a realtor and spent some time to find homes within miles that had guest homes (were actually on my street, but they didn't count because they weren't for sale) I narrowed it down to the best matches and submitted it to Quicken THEN they said the homes weren't close enough, so didn't count Talk about bait and switch, and not living up to your word So I decided I needed to find another lender who could do the job In ten days, the other lender closed with meUnfortunately, Quicken at that point agreed to do the loan But I had already switched and felt like the new company deserved the loan, so I cancelled QuickenNow - on their side, they DID finally agree to fund But not until after basically telling me repeatedly that they could not do it AND - I DID sign the paperwork, which committed me to paying for the appraisal fee (BTW - the new company not only didn't charge me for the appraisal, they didn't charge any fees, either) I expected Quicken would agree that that fee should not apply because they took so long and I did the majority of the work on the loan They refused to waive the fee I talked with multiple people in customer service - way up the ladder, and they all said that since they ultimately agreed to do the loan, then I have to pay the fee I countered with the fact that I never would have started talking with another lender until they made it pretty clear that they could not fund it because of our guest house, and their only answer all along the way was that they couldn't help me Which takes me back to their advertising I listed at the top of the review, which states they are OBSESSIVE about providing me with a great mortgage experience Frankly, they provided me with one of my WORST experiences, and to make matters worse, everyone in their customer service deptsimply said they agreed to do it ultimately, so I need to pay the full fee I honestly don't know how they could have won those awards they listed My mistake for signing with a company that requires $up front in the first place Don't make the same one I did Rick G

This is ridiculousThey offered information, instead of anything useful they inundate me with phone calls and offers for their products through email and postNone of the offers are even relevant to me based on the information I gave them They have cemented their name in my mind as a company to NEVER do business with
