I had to cancel the loan, due to numbers not being what they said they would beThe agent said to sign the security deposit but that we wouldn't run the deposit, ( I should have known better than to trust him) they withdrew the funds from the accountAfter the loan was withdrawn, they refused to give the good faith discount back in a timely fashionThey took the money quick but when it was time to give it back they sure do take their time Have requested escalations to get it back, and all I get is an automated response
Quicken loans is very responsive and helpfulThey walked us through the entire process and everything was done in a timely mannerWe would highly recommend quicken loans to a friendThank you
This is the third time I have refinanced my loan with Quicken The process was very smooth and relative quick Being able to sign most document electronically made the process very easy Electronic communications on the website and emails worked great The only complaint I have, and it is minor, were the after hour and weekend calls to tell me that the process was moving forward and provided no new information and they did not need anything from me at this time (Then why did you call and interrupt my dinner?) I have recommended Quicken to friends and will in the future

Absolutely horrible experience with Quicken Loans
I am a 100% sole owner of my S Corporation, yet Quicken Loans will not recognize the income of my company as my income although at the end of every year, as shown on my Tax Returns, the left over profits of my company get routed to me as a Dividends pay
Bottom Line, Quicken Loans simply wanted to go by my W2's, therefore I was treated as en employee rather than a business owner
Its either that Quicken Loan's system does not comprehend or is not tailored for a business owner or The rep that I dealt with could not comprehend the fact that I dictate my W2's and could care less what income I have on my W2's as long as my final income is reasonableApparently, the Dividends income is unnaccounted for and is simply overlooked although I have it reported as income on my Tax Returns!
I spent two and a half months trying to get a loan through QL and was rejected at the last minute because I didn't have enough reserve funds, which is the reason for needing the loan in the first place I was taking out $75K to pay off debts of $35K My house was appraised at $190KMy job history was perfect-years at the same jobMy fico score was They told me that they have a minimum mortgage amount of $75K so thats what I applied for Initially I was told that I don't qualify because my payment to income ratio was off They "ran the numbers" and got it to come out right by having me pay extra points to buy down the interest rate and lower the payment This was an upselling scam that I never should have fallen for After spending thousands of dollars -appraisal, new homeowners' and flood insurance, three different inspections, an elevation survey and over hours chasing documentation, the loan fell through because I could not legally give them access to my 401(k) for reserve requirements, something they should have known from the beginning Also they changed the reserve requirement from $4K to over $11K over night for no apparent reason They kept asking endlessly for more documentation on account balances, mortgage payoff statements, IRS payoff information, insurance, paystubs, tax transcripts, tax returns, w-2's, 401(k) plan information, etc., etc., and then as time dragged on, those documents needed to be updated and I had to fetch them for Quicken all over again The people handling the loan kept changing so I had to constantly bring the new guy up to speed on the details of my loanThe people at QL were professional and friendly in their attitude and behavior but inexperienced and inept at handling a complex loan
In summary, I cannot recommend Quicken to anyone, based on my experience
The process of refinancing with QL was very simple and stress free The people that we worked with were very professional, communicated well with us and great to work with We would definitely recommend QL to others
