Overall my wife and I were extremely impressed from beginning to end how professional the representatives were with us, and how well tuned Quicken Loans, Inctheir processes were From the initial first to contact me via telephone, among the hudreds of representative throughout the US sitting and waiting for that initial hit on their web site, to the final check in by Nick Sykes and delivery of closing documents, all their effort were top notch The only hiccup was in the middle where it took over a week in their contact with my bank where my wife needed to intervene and assist in this process I have moved around a lot with my work and have bought/sold and worked with many mortgage companies, my worst experience was with WellsFargo, and Quicken Loans made it quite easy and enjoyable Thank you for this

I I started a loanIt took a couple of months and they had me pay out for a appraisal for my house which was over $cuz the duplexNever got the money back they couldn't do the alone they claimed they were doing so many verifications of all kinds of information which I should have got a loan from anybody with and a great credit scoreI was so dissatisfied with them and fed up with their crapI was treated very badly when I would ask for an update on my loan I never got oneI had to keep contacting the individual that was supposed to be handling my loanI ended up going to his supervisorAnd then I ended up going to the head of the departmentGot No Satisfaction whatsoever finally just quit with them after months
Tom and I were very happy with our Quicken refinance It was quick and very professional I would recommend it to anyone wishing to refinance their home loan for a lower interest rate
Rocket Loans by Quicken loans is a bunch of hourly rate kids "playing" grown ups They will not go "out of the box" to help
They fully understood my problem as my income is from a Chinese company and I do not have a "pay stub" to show them
I did however, send them a bank advise for my monthly wire from my bank showing my income (two months and offered several more months) While they understood this was my income and said they saw it, their system would not accept anything else than a pay stub or deposit stub Well as we all know, a monthly incoming wire from my employer in China is a deposit stub They system kicked it out, the supervisor said she could not over-ride I suppose if you don't work for Wal-Mart and have a weekly pay check, you make too much for their system Is! Good luck dealing with this kind of mentality aka "Yes I agree with you, but the system does not."

The Group that worked with me from Quicken's Rocket Mortgage was quick, used electronics to my and their best useThey were helpful, Most of all they were very positive Things came up and they immediately presented an alternative to great end results I love the web site I organized my monthly payments to be bi-weekly all by myself very easily And we closed within a month
The advisor I spoke to exerted an enormous amount of pressure to get me to close the deal before I got off the phone "What will it take to get you to make the decision tonight..." after I'd already told him times I was going to look at the options I had from different lenders and make a decision by the following day
I asked specifically for 5% down information but the advisor was determined to get me locked in to their 1% down program When I asked for comparisons on amortization he started talking about monthly payments He kept telling me about the great deals Quicken loan could provide me, rather than answering the questions I asked The conversation reminded me of talking to a used car salesman
I eventually ended the call by telling him there was nothing he could do to persuade me to make a decision to go forward tonight, but he had made me decide due to the pressure he was putting me under not to move forward at all with Quicken Loans I thanked him, said goodbye and hung up Ten minutes later I received a voicemail saying he didn't understand how we'd become disconnected and he understood I was feeling pressure about getting financing in place in time for closing! He asked me to call back, which I didn't, and said he'd call me again in the morning So, I blocked his number I then received an email follin the morning from him which I didn't respond to In the afternoon, I received another email asking me to lto retrieve my pre-approval letter (which I never requested) and to submit my documents to complete my application package
If you know you're going to use them then they may be great If not, be prepared for ridiculous pressure and to be treated like you don't have a brain in your head "Turn your piece of paper over, write at the top on the right side and on the left side" - you get the idea I'm sure

While Quicken was extremely "fast," I will say that when my rate lock expired April 30th due to the fact that the Seller could not close with us within days, QL refused to give me a lower rate, even though the underlying market index dropped here in the month of May and I received two emails from QL advertising that their "rates dropped" with of course all the fine print disclosures I felt that because our closing was mid-month, in the month of May, they really had us by the "you know whats" so we had really no "choice" to shop for a lower rate I don't think their rate lock paperwork is clear on what happens when the rate lock expires
This was the only aspect of QL that I did not like

Quicken was great and it was easy I worked with them online with myQL and never had to leave the house It was a refinance and it was a little more difficult because I am a small business owner, so needed to supply two years of tax returns, but they made it easy Took days from start to finish and the money was directly wired into my accountEveryone was friendly and helpful I most certainly would recommend them and doing everything with myql and working with them through email and phone, everything was documented and I always had easy referral to it If I had any questions I could ask them on myql online and they would answer and/or I could email them and get a quick replyI loved it!!
