We were approved to move forward in less than an hour and a halfWe created an account where we could upload all the necessary documents neededIt was all very straightforward and simpleIf I had any questions Shevelle was right there to answer them promptlyWe already had a house picked out and an accepted offer to purchase so this really sped things up!
At this point we now began working with Josh PowellHe was very personable and attentive, making us feel as if he was really working for us to get things moving quicklyAs things progressed we had a few bumps we encountered on our end with the appraisal ( because the land was in the process of being re-surveyed) but they were quickly resolved and we were up and running againJosh was great at keeping us up to date on the progress of thingsHe is a real asset to his company!
So in less than a month we were closed on our house-- April was our application date and we closed on the 25th of May! Oh yes-- and we even got to use a coupon from our friends for $off our closing costs-- SWEET!
I would highly reccomend them to anyone!! I have read some of the negative reviews and have come to the conclusion that a lot of the problems were not Quicken-- they can not control appraisals or regulations that the government puts on lenders these daysOur experience was smooth and went wonderfully!! Thanks Quicken!!
Rocket Loans (a division of Quicken Loans) requires you to log into your bank account through their site to approve your loan I was concerned about that, so I checked with my bank While they could not say that was something we should or should not do, they said if it were them, they would never give that information to anyone That information gives them complete access to your account, which is information and accessibility no legitimate lending institution needs I took my banks advice and did not continue with the loan
I was interested in a refinance on my home which was at a 5% Arm at yearsI was capable for a VA loan.Jim Roberts got me started on this and explained the process.He was very thoroughI qualified for the VA loan at 3.75% but due to my property and VA requirements my out buildings had to be stripped,primed and repainted.Living in Minnesota the middle of October was not exactly a good time to get this done.Jim switched me to a conventinal loan at 3.87%.This was still a very good savings for me,and I did not have to re-paint all my out buildings.I can honestly say it was a great experience with JIm and Quikens loan.They did exactly what they said and did it in a prompt manner
No one I believe wants to pay closing costs but it is all part of the program.Thankyou Jim and Thankyou quikens loan on a job well done

My printer to my computer isn't working I told this to my team member I just wish she would have told me to go get a new printer with a fax because it would have saved me about in fax's I didn't realize I would be faxing and picking up faxesOther than that I really liked working with the teams at Quicken Loans and they all did a great job and were very helpful

We appliedWe were pre-approvedWe were treated wellWe paid $to Quicken Loans and we received a degree turn-around in how we were communicated to and treatedWe were beat up, my wife finally in tearsWe provided MORE than what was requested by QuickenI refuse to pay $to be turned, beaten up, dis-respected and hurt my wife deeplyI REFUSE to allow them to profit from people in this wayI was informed when I paid this $that it was just a commitment deposit and would be returned to us at closingQuicken beat us up so horribly, they forced me to cease with themMy family was suffering because of themNEVER AGAIN
Everything was great! They kept in contact with me on a regular basis Everyone I spoke with was very professional, courteous, and helpful If I ever decide to purchase another home or refinance I will definitely give Quicken Loans a call
