I did not like how it went from one person to another person throughout the process I would prefer to talk with one person throughout Even though each person I dealt with was polite & helpful, my preference would be to deal with one person

From the very beginning, my experience with Quicken Loans was extremely positive and later proved quite beneficial in securing a refi for my homeI had previously tried to combine my two mortgages through Wells Fargo that held my first mortgage and was denied assistance, but were willing to refinance only their loanI am forever grateful to Quicken Loan for their expedient service to process my loanThe only issue I encountered was a software/driver issue with confirming a my closing document onlineHowever Quicken staff was able to find another solution and I was able to close within a few days
Rocket Loans (a division of Quicken Loans) requires you to log into your bank account through their site to approve your loan I was concerned about that, so I checked with my bank While they could not say that was something we should or should not do, they said if it were them, they would never give that information to anyone That information gives them complete access to your account, which is information and accessibility no legitimate lending institution needs I took my banks advice and did not continue with the loan
From beginning to completion this was a streamlined, and efficient process It exceeded my expectations The QL communication tool worked well and sped up the process in all necessary interchanges and information sharing It was great having two to-individuals, the Banker and the Loan Facilitator Both were extremely helpful and were there when I had any questionsThis process alone gave me a great deal of confidence as we worked our way through the requirements of the loan Thank you all for your help!
We had no problems with our Quicken Loans experience We received regular updates regarding the loan process and any documents that were needed Being able to upload the needed documents online was very convenient and made the approval process easy Would definitely recommend Quicken Loans to friends and family
It started out pretty good Paper
work was minimal Salesperson first tells me no appraisal and PM I then back tracks on the appraisal and says one is needed Appraisal comes in Never hear from anyone at Rocket about the appraisal and any impact to my loan Notary comes out to sign closing docs and I notice PMI included No one discussed the addition of PMI insurance I call the # listed in the Cancel document The Customer Relations department takes my issue and says they will research but it's Friday afternoon in Detroit so I won't hear from anyone until Monday I dont feel comfortable with that as I only have days to cancel the loanI call the loan servicing center in PhoenixThe loan Operations Manager said a Director will call me next morning I don't hear back from anyone for days as they are closed during the weekend for customers who are in the closing process I have to initiate calls on Monday late morning as no one has called me ywt I call Customer Relations in Detroit and they tell me they only have one director and they are out to lunch!
I call the loan servicing center in Phoenix and finally speak to a Director The Director and I work out a somewhat financially agreeable compromise to the PMI Then I ask for hard copies of all docs and see another error affecting title I'm told again how sorry they are and they are going to do a deep dive into my loan to find any other improvements
This was very stressful for me Therefore I don't recommend using this company I will say that once I was able to talk to the right people, they responded well But Rocket doesn't make it easy for the consumer to find the right people to resolve their issues
From my first contact with Quicken Loans, I was sure that I had made the right choice for my mortgage and process
Every person I dealt with was attentive to my questions and responded without delay
My timeline of each part of the process was clear and realistic
The financial aspects of my loan and my options were explained in detail and were easy to understand
The entire mortgage process was made to lessen any added stress on my end, and my loan closed exactly as I was promised it would!
I refinanced my home with Quicken in My parents just so happened to refinance theirs through another mortgage company at the same timeThe difference between my experience with Quicken and my parents with their bank is night and dayQuicken is incredibly efficient and really on the ball at all timesWhile I feel that I may have been able to find a slightly lower rate elsewhere (and I'm not even totally sure about that) I would highly recommend them to anyone for purchase or refi
