Extensive communication throughout the process Some submitted information had to be resent Some minor issues for a deposit required me to go to the bank to pay for a copy of the deposited check
It took "Quicken" Loans almost months to prove fess our loan There was nothing quick about it We also felt discriminated against because we are independent business owners Our company has been in business continuously since and we're on our third family generationThe volumes of paperwork we had to submit were ridiculous I only stuck with the process because the interest rate was so good

From the very beginning, my experience with Quicken Loans was extremely positive and later proved quite beneficial in securing a refi for my homeI had previously tried to combine my two mortgages through Wells Fargo that held my first mortgage and was denied assistance, but were willing to refinance only their loanI am forever grateful to Quicken Loan for their expedient service to process my loanThe only issue I encountered was a software/driver issue with confirming a my closing document onlineHowever Quicken staff was able to find another solution and I was able to close within a few days

I used them on a new constructionTodd Sebesy was my agentHe quoted me a figure in FebruaryOver the next several months I would receive rediscloire statements from him that were way inaccurateAfter showing him the side by side on two occasions, on in April and one in May, he acknowledged that they were wrongBut he said he had no control over those docs and that they were auto generated by the system and that I didn't need to worryMeanwhile I'm spending hours and hours retrieving old statements, receipts, drafts document, etc in order to meet all of the requirements they haveThe detail they require is incredibly extensive and their method of explanation (everything must be uploaded) is completely in-user friendly
Back to Todd...finally I am at the time of close and I get my redisclosire doc and it's STILL not accurateHe added another $in origination fees from what he quoted (even though the rAte stayed the same..yet the Fed had gone down since my original quote) Worse though, he had the wrong figures in rebates from the builderNow I am delayed further and have to rent a weekly hotel because we're not closing on timeAnd I'm stuck with them or I lose my deposits if I pull out
I can't explain everything that has gone wrong and we still have not closedI'm rambling here...months and months of frustration with them built up
This was our 2nd time working with QuickenBoth experiences were unique due to one being a refi, and the other being a home loan on a new propertyWe had a diligent, and consistent team in both experiencesWe would recommend Quicken to our closest friendsThey returned my calls within a hour window every time I calledThey communicated when rates were changing and encouraged me to lock in ratesThe over-communication was helpful for me and gave me a better understanding of what was happening
