this was by far the easiest way to get a loan or refinance every step of the way was simply painless would recommend to anyone needing a loan/refinance
We were thrilled with our experience with Quicken LoansWe contacted them during our remodel to determine the best time to refi our first note and remodel loan into one mortgage loan with an attractive rateThe service throughout the process was top knotch
I just completed my second loan with QuickenThe first mortgage was for an investment property They are very helpful and Bryan, who was my primary contact was greatHe helped me get all of the documentation together and it was much easier than I thought The fact that it was an investment property made it a bit more expensive and there were many, many delays that I was not happy about but at the end of the day it all worked out so on this loan I would give them a grade of "B+"
A few months later I decided to refinance my primary home I went with Quicken because I figured they already had most of my info and I figured it would be easyI was using my veteran status to get a VA loan, something I was not allowed to do with the investment property I mentioned above
Things started out easy enough but the closing kept getting delayed for the stupidest of reasons As an example, the whole process came to a halt because on the payoff document they got from the Chase bank showed a late fee of $ I never paid a mortgage payment late in my life so I called Chase for an explanation They said the late fee appears on the payoff document just incase they payment is late and that Quicken should have known that After a few days of going back and forth I decided I wanted to cancel the loan, even though I had already paid out over $1,in fees and inspections that I would never get backWhen I told them I wanted out, they had someone in management contact me I figured he would offer to get involved and help move things along but man, was I mistaken! His attitude was pretty much "OK - go ahead and cancel if you want but you will not get back any of the money that was paid out" I decided to go ahead and continue the refi anywayFinally, a month later a closing date was set The DAY BEFORE we were supposed to closed I got a phone call telling me they were having difficulties reconfirming my employmentAgain, the tell me this the DAY BEFORE Mind you I had already closed on a mortgage with QL the months previously and I have been employed at the same place for years!
We ended up closing a few days later - a full MONTH after we expected to close
For this second loan I give Quicken Loans a weak "C"
Was happy in the beginning with this loan company and then we get our pay Off checks and they left one out of our loan been dealing with the same person from the very beginning so was kind of disappointed in that they said we didn't qualify if we hadn't have taken bill off not really understanding that part
Overall the people that we dealt with were very nice and we got a good rate for our mortgage However, the process was stressfulIt seemed like every other day we got assigned to a new person I kept getting texts telling me that we urgently needed to complete something on the online site but when I went there either there was nothing to complete or the item wanted was confusing or made no sense
We had an excellent experience with QuickenVery fast and efficient yet patient There was no pressure and they gave us plenty of time to review all of the documents before making a decision I would highly recommend
Thought the process very smooth, was clear from messages what to do next and very prompt in responding to our concernsWe would do it again if needed as was a positive experience
Easy to work with , however they do seem to keep asking for the same information over and over again for each progression of the loan Information they readily have if the departments communicated
Process was easy and the loan officer was always communicating with me via phone and email on what documents I needLoading documents online was very helpful and easyI will recommend Quicken Loans to frienda and family
I was online one night and was just reviewing homes, mortgages, different information about what kind of help or loans were available When I logged out the telephone rang I was taken by surprise and told the guy I did not need a loan that I was just playing on the internet He continues to ask me questions, which I now know I should not have answered I told him I already owned a home and I didn't need a loan, he continued He asked if I knew my credit score and I said yes He said, "why, do you have a problem with a hard hit?" I said no because I have had them when I applied for some types of credit He asked if I had any money in the bank I said we are seniors and I don't keep money in the bank I also told him that if I wanted, I was already preapproved for a loanBut, I didn't need one He said put some money in the bank and call me in six months I thought how rude The worst was when I found out that Quicken Loans put a hard hit on my credit report as well as my husband's credit score They didn't even do anything for me I have called different agencies and they said it was their word against mine Well, be forwarned before you deal with Quicken Loans, If they approve you, you can get approved elsewhere
I recently refinanced my home with Quicken I was very skeptical when I first spoke with Kyle Glen because I had been misled by Loan Depot and Chase due to my unique financial situationHowever, working initially with Klye, who gathered the required documents and sent them to underwriting, I was relieved to know that he was not promising more than he could deliverHe never once misled me in the loan process and in fact, when he initiated the well coordinated transition to his Refinance Specialist, Vanessa Larkins, I was very confident that I made the right choice to use Quicken Loans In fact, the QL mobile app made this refinance extremely transparent and offered me the peace of mind that I've never before experienced with a lenderEach of my communications using the mobile app were responded to the same business dayI never had to call in and navigate the "refinance phone maze" in hopes of speaking to someone who knew about my refinanceI would definitely use Quicken for future mortgage needs and in particular, Klye Glen and Vanessa Larkins
QuickenLoans is an easy company to do business with as most of the transactions can be done on-line or over the phoneThe loan officers, especially Andrew Moore were very helpful and patientAs we had all the documentation needed, our refinance went thru quicklyI would definitely recommend them for home financing
From start to finish my loan was handled with professionalism and graceEven when things were not presented in the best of ways, Quicken worked hard to be sure I understood every step of the way
I had a wonderful experience with the three people that I worked with throughout the processThe only issue I had was that Quicken needed a specific appraisal and still needed it two weeks from closing and I was unaware of that until it had become a problemIt was taken care of and I closed on the original dateIt was a quick and relatively smooth process
After being denied for refinancing my home for several years, Quicken Loans made me a terrific offerSwift and professionalI would like to recommend them to anyone whose bank won't offer any reliefBye bye BofA! A++
Even though we had to submit lots of paperwork daily for a week and a half it was a very good experienceWe were first time home buyers and they were very helpful, especially Andrew weber, he went above and beyond for us
Excellent compan Excellent serviceWill use them again should the need arise and will recommend them highly!
