Hi,
Facebook is a community where people use their authentic identities, so you always know who you're connecting with. As noted in our response sent on August 22, until we receive an accepted form of ID that matches the information listed on...
the account we won't be able to respond to this case or assist you further.
In the meantime, this account will remain locked as a security precaution. While it's locked, the account won't be visible on Facebook or appear in search. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept Facebook's terms because they expect me to submit proof as to who I am. The government id that I have DOES NOT MATCH the name of [redacted] is a roleplay account which I use to roleplay. First Facebook you need to change your rules and regulations.
An article which I have read just recently states that now Facebook is allowing that Germany may use fake accounts.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. We're unable to give you access to this account or continue with your request because you either:
- Haven't sent a form of ID that we can use to confirm your identity
- Sent us documentation that doesn't match the name, photo or date of birth listed on this Facebook account
Please reply to this email and attach a copy of an accepted form of ID. Be sure to cover up any personal information we don't need to confirm your identity (ex: credit card number, Social Security number).
Please visit the Help Center to view the types of ID we accept:
https://www.facebook.com/help/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/?ref=cr
Once we can confirm your identity, we can help with this request.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Thanks FACEBOOK for your feedback.
I understand from your message that this has caused me inconvenience. It has not only caused me inconvenience m it has caused me needless disruptions and hurt my economic opportunities as I could not PROMOTE my book during the sensitive day and week of the release of my nook.
I request for a compensation promotion that will run for a mutually agreeable and accepted time from Facebook.
I also seek monetary compensation for the disruption and inconvenience occasioned by this unwarranted interruption by Facebook.
I cannot promote my book now until the end of the month. That's why I initiated promotion on August 30 to announce the release of my Kindle book and paid to boost the post on my page. Both of these were stopped or suspended causing me potential loss of economic, financial and other opportunities.
I desire compensation for inconvenience and wasted opportunities.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2015/09/16) */
Hi,
We want to help you resolve this issue, but we can't until you reply and attach identification that confirms the name submitted in your request.
The fastest way to confirm your name is to send us a government-issued ID.
If you don't have a government-issued photo ID, you can submit 2 forms of ID that show the same name. Also, one of the IDs must include a photo or date of birth that matches the information on your profile.
If you don't have an ID that shows your name as well as your photo or date of birth, you can provide 2 forms of ID that show the same name, and one ID that includes a photo or date of birth that matches the information on your profile.
Please save the file(s) as a JPEG and cover up any personal information we don't need to confirm your identity (ex: address, driver's license number).
Learn more about the types of ID we accept in the Help Center:
https://www.facebook.com/help/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/?ref=cr
Once you send us the necessary IDs, we'll be happy to change your name.
Thanks,

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 20, 2015/09/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Thanks for your feedback Facebook.
For the avoidance of doubt and for purposes of strong and better clarity, I am writing to draw your attention to the sub-item below.
PROPOSED TERMS OF SETTLEMENT FOR THIS CASE TO BE RESOLVED.
1 On August 30 through September to September 9, 2015. Facebook BRANDED my activity as "suspected fraudulent" and STOPPED my paid advertisements and boosting of Facebook page.
2 On September 1, 2015 after making strong publicity efforts announcing my book release( and the book release was the reason for the paid ads) FACEBOOK LOCKED my account for over 24 hours requesting for Account Verification which I did within the 1st hour of the locked account.
This action PLUS the ONGOING EMBARGO on my paid ads because of false and suspected accusation of fraudulent activity disrupted, and SABOTAGED all my book release, publicity and promo efforts. Some of my friends stopped seeing me online.
3 AGAIN on September 4, 2015- September 7, 2015; FACEBOOK LOCKED my account; demanding for VERIFICATION AGAIN. The same govt.issued ID I used in verifying my account for Sept 1 Account Closure was rejected until September 7 when it was reopened. And it was same day I reported to Revdex.com.
this second unwarranted closure of my account did extensive damage to all my promo efforts and the double account locks cost me LOSS OF FINANCIAL & ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES and potential sales of my book.
4 Again during the same season; FACEBOOK struck again. This time it targeted my publicist who opened a page to promote my book and STOPPED the paid ads.
5 My account has since been reopened from Sept 7, 2015.
I am not asking for my name to be changed from "[redacted]" back to "[redacted]". FACEBOOK already changed my names as it appears on Facebook without my knowledge, consent or approval.
Usually when the date of birth and photo information on an ID matches with that on the Facebook profile. It is verified and the names retained. But Facebool already branded me " fraud" and their presumption was that I am using a fake identity. When in fact "[redacted]" is the literary name I am known with in all my books currently on sale on Amazon and Amazon Kindle.
FACEBOOK SHOULD RESOLVE THIS COMPLAINT BY
A GIVING ME A COMPENSATION PROMO FOR MY PAGE AND POST.
B PAYING ME A MUTUALLY AGREED SUM OF MONEY AS DAMAGED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE,UNWARRANTED DISRUPTION, SABOTAGING AND DISTIRBING MY PROMO AND PUBLICITY AND PAID ADS WHEN IT STOPPED MY PAID ADS AND LOCKED MY ACCOUNT- A TOTAL OF FOUR DAYS.
I HOPE FACEBOOK AND THE WORLD READING THIS ON Revdex.com WEBSITE CAN AGREE THAT I HAVE PROVIDED BETTER CLARITY.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Prior to making contact with Revdex.com, I went to that very link. It asked for some letters and numbers after each unauthorized charge. I individually put the number/letter in one by one. None worked. I called your customer service hotline to listen to a recording telling me Facebook doesn't have a customer service hotline.
Secondly, the link you sent requires me to "log in". I will never login to Facebook because I have absolutely no idea how this happened to begin with! A deactivated account and close to $900 in unauthorized transactions?
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2015/06/29) */
Upon the advisement of my bank, I cancelled the debit card & shredded it so, I don't have access to that. Here are the numbers I attempted to put on the Facebook page you are referring to that didn't work.
6/5/15 $25.09 #[redacted]
6/8/15 $51.28 [redacted]
6/8/15 $346.56 #[redacted]
6/8/15 $250.08 #[redacted]
6/9/15 $195.00 #[redacted]
Hopefully, this will give you the information you need. If you google this, I'm not the first person this has happened to with Facebook. Universally, every single person this happened to, including myself, had no association with Facebook, didn't login to Facebook and had not had their debit card out of their own possession. Nor were any charges ever authorized. I don't even know or understand what you can buy from Facebook!
Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the Revdex.com. Unfortunately, this does appear to be a case of fraud. Your credit card was used on our site to make purchases you did not authorize. Rest assured, we take your security and privacy seriously. It looks like you have already disputed these charges with your bank.
At this point, we have done everything we can to take action in this matter. We encourage you to contact your credit card company with further questions.
Thanks,

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response...
because:
Have YOU read Facebook's "response"?
Bumbled together by legalized-hacker-bots. Entirely scornful of the details of any particular conflict, whether its someone who enters the wrong password too many times or a thirty-year-old woman whose account is deleted the same day her gyno gives her a cancer diagnosis. Facebook has the same (LITERALLY the same), utterly purposeless, message for both users -- For ALL its users. No matter what the problem is.
& that message is, "I am Facebook, you are not -- Just let us take it away from you. Really.
"& stop caring NOW."
"Caching"-in the advertisers line all the way.
Not me personally, but people crank their entire lives into Facebook -- How can it be legal for Facebook to spit in their users' faces like that?
I mean, I know how -- It's wrong for Facebook's particular rip-off to be legal, though.
As laughable as I'm certain that sounds.
Thanks.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2014/12/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First of all, I do not own a desktop computer. Secondly, most people tend to use their mobile device when contacting others on Facebook.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The community standards are not definitive enough and do not account for false statements. I've...
reported the profile as being fake several times and nothing has changed. Legally I do not see how a person that was never a client of this business can leave a negative review without any ability from the business to remove it. If this cannot be removed I will be seeking a lawsuit for libel against this [redacted] or the owner of the profile along with Facebook for allowing a false review to remain after they were made aware of the matter. This is the ONLY negative review I have on all social media platforms and 60% or more of my business comes from online reviews. Every day this review remains there is potential for monetary damages due to lost income.
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I followed the instructions and its been more than one week they did not review my Uploaded ID and unlocked my account.
So I decided to create a new account because I want to run FB ads for my small business and today they locked my new FB account also.
Please tell them to unlock my account with email: [redacted] as soon as possible, I dont understand why it takes so much time to review my ID.
Sincerely,[redacted]
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: they have failed to respond to my dispute my block has been in place to long to be temporary. The last response from Facebook via the Revdex.com was that the listing was properly deleted. So what's the problem? I just want the block lifted.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
