Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/10/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am tired of businesses who rip people off without any consequences. They took over $400 of my money. They were wrong to do so. But, even if it started out as an honest mistake, they were complaisant in that they ignored my repeated attempts to contact them. Not until the Revdex.com cracked down on them did I hear anything back. They should have made it right the first time I asked. They wouldn't have done anything if y'all hadn't stepped in. They shouldn't be able to do that to folks without having to face some repercussions. They should have to pay triple damages. My time, my trust and the interest for holding my money hostage for 6 months is worth more.
Please, let's keep them from doing this again to someone else.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I made this complaint because I couldn't get my account by using the only 2 options on[redacted] like I said before the only computer that I used to log into Facebook before no longer works so the only other option I had to get my account back was to provide my I'd which is what I did but it was denied..... It is my account how is it that the only option to get my account back doesn't work as I have said before the Facebook account name is the SAME as the I'd I provided and the email address that I use to log into Facebook is the same email that you were sending messages to when I provided my I'd. Please explain why I can't get my account back.Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
FIRST OFF, I WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT FACEBOOK IS MAKING AN EFFORT TO FIX THINGS, so I am waiting for Facebook to be able to figure out what is going wrong soon. But the Revdex.com is the only way I available to communicate with them since there is no other way of reaching them--not even through their Online Help Center. I will contact you by phone to keep you updated.
Initially, it seemed like the issue had been fixed but unfortunately, it was only a temporary fix. I had access to the site for three days: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. (I had even emailed you, the Revdex.com, a positive update--Please see sopy-pasted text below.) Early Tuesday morning, my account was disabled again with the exact same message as the first time. I resubmitted my ID at the site. Today is Thursday, and I still have not regained access to Facebook.
I would like to know why the system keeps disabling me. If it is something I am doing that causes this, I need to know. As far as I know, I have been doing normal stuff: Exploring the website. Engaging with my group. Exploring new groups. Adding friends, Replying to posts, Learning about the privacy settings, Adjusting my privacy settings, I even posted updated instructions to the Help Center to help other users. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what I could be doing that might be triggering Facebook's bot disable action. Personally, I think something's wrong witht he software. But, I'm only guessing.
UPDATE EMAILED TO Revdex.com ON 7/1/2017 AT [redacted] after regaining access to my Facebook account:
----------------QUOTE-----------------------
Hello Revdex.com San Francisco / Bay Area,
Yesterday I submitted a rejection to business response because I still had not heard from them and was not going to be home today to reply back to you on time. But I got sick and had to stay home. As turns out, this morning there was an email from the business in my mailbox and I wanted to post an update to your website, but could not find a way to do it. So, I have decided to email you.
Kindly update the complaint information with the following progress report.
UPDATE:
I am very happy to inform you that Facebook has corrected the problem and that this issue has been resolved favorably. Early this morning I received an email notification from Facebook giving me access to the platform and I have been able to start working on my profile again.
Thank you so much for your mediation!

Hi [redacted],
Thanks for your message. You should now have access to your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
It looks like the issue you experienced was related to a security feature called login approvals....

Once you turn on login approvals, you'll be asked to enter a special security code each time you try to access your Facebook account from a new computer, mobile phone or tablet. That way, no one can log into your account without a password and a security code.
If you have any other questions related to login approvals, please respond to this email and we'll be happy to help.

Thanks for contacting Facebook,
