Among other lies, I did NOT, EVER, subscribe to this "service," and I did not subscribe by email. The response is a platitude at best. This company is violating the law -- the CAN-SPAM act -- in multiple ways. Among others, it sent me hundreds of unsolicited emails and refused to stop sending them when I directed it to do so. EVERY one of those fraudulent emails has been sent to the US Government, including the Federal Trade Commission, as proof. The CAN-SPAM act sets forth a minimum of requirements, the very first one of which this company failed to honor in every one of the hundreds of unsolicited emails it sent me (and apparently sends to many others).Unsubscribe complianceA visible and operable unsubscribe mechanism is present in all emails.Consumer opt-out requests are honored within 10 business days.Opt-out lists also known as Suppression lists are only used for compliance purposes.Content complianceAccurate "From" lines (including "friendly froms")Relevant subject lines (relative to offer in body content and not deceptive)A legitimate physical address of the publisher and/or advertiser is present. We appreciate you taking the time to communicate that there are ways we can optimize our product. We appreciate all of our customers and are always seeking to improve. Looking at your account and activity history, we see you were active in spending the ad credits you accepted and you only created a...

few posts. Meaning, you were participating in earning activities while spending your ad credits simultaneously. Spending ad credits without paying for them upfront entails a monthly processing fee. In order to generate profits and cash out those profits, the member must be actively managing their expenditures (ad credits) to meet their desired goal while participating in the community and all earning activities available. While you generated a decent amount in earnings, you also continuously spent your ad credits, which in the end, must be paid back before cashing out. Also, earnings go through a maturity cycle of 90 days before being eligible for cash out. This is mentioned in our terms of service and within the account FAQs.   Looking at your account, there were no outside payment sources charged or even connected to your account.

Hello [redacted],We see this request was already responded to by [redacted] and that you agreed to the proposal as follows: I have reviewed your old account under email [redacted] As it stood when deleted there was $202.62 in Ad Credits Utilized and $264.69 in earnings creating a net of $62.07 that would have been eligible to cash out. This amount is so low because you had not posted or interacted with your account since January of 2015. I could have a staff credit of $62.07 added to your current account to resolve this part of your issue.  How can we further assist you?empowr Outreach

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Problem:This is my second complaint against the company via Revdex.com. The first time, I was told it was resolved but it apparently hasn't been as I am still getting emails sent out to my friends and family on my behalf. Here was my email to them previously that I was told was resolved and that I would have no more emails sent out on my behalf: "I have already deleted my account, I have revoked empowr’s access to my gmail contact list, and my contacts are still getting emails from you on my behalf. I’ve even removed all my contacts in gmail and they still get the emails. I want the emails that are being sent out on my behalf to stop. I want the contacts that you had gotten from me to be removed from your server. I am a very private person who has severe social anxiety and this is really bothering me that people I don't know like companies I have contacted in the past for support, family and friends, and most importantly my son's doctors and teachers, are getting emails from me. I'm getting emails from people about it. It is making me severely depressed. Help!" Just early this morning my friends received another email and at the bottom it says: Your empowr account was reserved for you by [redacted].com (my email). In order to store your gift however you must agree to terms and validate before it can be created. I want this resolved NOW. Please delete any association that my account has with you and remove all my friend's contacts.TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:Contact by the businessselectDesired Outcome:I want my email and my friend's email address removed from your servers. I have asked several times and was told several times that this has been remedied but it hasn't. Apparently this company cannot be trusted with information.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below."Communities", which were never set up as "power users" started drawing from [redacted]. There is no refund recourse for this action. When you attempt a refund from a "community", it brings you back to your personal account and says you cannot have one. Success coaches ARE NOT listed in your terms of service. Your "congresswoman" May Ram also verified that they would receive a W-2 at the end of the year. When I asked for clarification on 1099 or W2, she stated it was in fact a w2. Which means employment. After I attempted to explain this to her and others, I was told I was wrong. I have the screenshots of these conversations. Therefore, it would be due immediately per California Labor laws correct?

[My account was terminated after selling about $1000 dollars in products, I had over $1300 due for cash out.  I don't accept response, based on the fact that I worked very hard to promote empowr and put far too much money into this for someone who is only on disability.  There are many people in the same position.  Those who worked the hardest have been hurt by this, and then I see the leaderboard that all that money was only given to top SC.  I want my account reinstated in full, or money returned to me.

Thank you for deleting my account.  I still believe that your existing marketing strategy creates a hazard to the consumer and needs to be amended.  Though my personal situation is materially resolved, I am still feeling the burn of friends and colleagues teasing me about "having succumbed to an internet scam."  This is how your social network is perceived.  I hope that you will be more transparent in your future marketing.

Our records show you opened a FanBox account in August of 2012. Ad
credits were granted to your account. Everyone has the option to either accept
or decline the ad credits. Your account shows they were accepted and activated,
thus, generating the processing fees.

Your IPL account has been terminated; therefore, you will not be
billed with any processing fees. All IPL processing fees you have received have
been canceled.

Our records show you made a payment of $4.35 towards IPL fees on
November 23, 2012. This payment has been refunded to your PayPal account on December
30, 2014.

Review: I have been receiving emails from Fanbox from April 4th onwards. These emails have subjects like 'Penalty Courtesy notice', 'Immediate Action required', 'Ill pay later Processing fee due'. These emails talk about some earnings made and I need to pay some IPL processing fee. I really don't know what this company is about. I never signed up with them and didn't give them permission to use my email id. On 4/26/2013, I contacted them at [email protected] to report this and requested to remove my email id from their system. I never heard back. Their spam emails still continues as of today.Desired Settlement: I didn't sign up with fanbox and didn't authorize to use my email id. I request that my email id be removed from their systems and they stop sending these spam emails.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. Thanks Revdex.com!

Regards,

I have AS WELL been dealing with these emails Fanbox keeps sending me, after I told them directly after creating account that I did not, and would not hook up my paypal account and that I wanted the account deleted. I just got ANOTHER mail today saying They will charge me again. The account isn't even supposed to be active, I'm not even doing anything there at all, nor havive at all. They said they would delete my account. So how can this be possible plus Me owing them over 400$ for bogus fees on an account, they said they would delete. I been act I was smart, and did not even hook up my credit card or paypal account, thank god.

Every single email I've sent to them including my "coach" who's supposed to be there for me personally, hasn't even responded and I've been waiting for days.

Every single forum has people complaining about the same thing (getting the money they are owed) and every single reply is vague and says basically someone will be contacting you shortly, or excuses for this and that and then they start talking about money gram and western union.

It's a scam all day people and my best advice is to not even engage with this company at all.

If I would have hooked up my card or paypal account, they would be taking money from me right now and I would not get it back.

By registering an account with them, they have all your personal info, and obviously take advantage of that fact accordingly.

*IT'S COMPLETE NONSENSE AND A SCAM ALL DAY!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AT ALL!!!*
