Review: Fanbox has been sending me SPAM almost daily when I have not subscribed to them. They make various claims about money earned and owed in the emails they send to me. They often claim that I must verify my account but they do not even mention (or know) my first name.Desired Settlement: They must cease and desist this practice immediately and immediately delete my account. They must delete all information they have on file about myself.

Review: FanBox claims they got my email address from my nephew [redacted] who assures me he didn't give it to them and didn't recommend me to them.

The only contact I initiated was to reply to their email telling them to remove me from their system. I didn't give them any information about myself and all they seem to have about me is my email address.

They keep asking for a monthly processing fee and are adding penalties monthly since February because I haven't paid.Desired Settlement: That I not hear from them again and any reference to me be erased from their system and if they report me to your association that you realize that I have had no dealings with them of any kind and a report that they may send to you is bogus and no complaint from them should be put in my record.

I have cashed out over $1000 on FanBox I would recommend this site to everyone!

I try to give everyone reading an objective opinion about FanBox.com.

I have been a member now for almost 4 years.

It is simply put one of the best sites in the world ever created. The goals are astonishing. In a society like ours where highest official authorities of highly developed countries claim we are moving to the end game of humanity by the beginning of the 22nd century with climate change as a wild card and health, education and human value deficits so overshadowing, a few people (the creators and more) with FanBox have decided to give their own contribution to this world. They look for what they can do for the world and not the other way round to help anyone with an internet access to become part of a community of proactive people who work together. Combining social media with interconnected providing solutions within a family friendly, social and economical cosmos, each interested member is included to a community that aims to produce people of value with sustainable earning capacities. What you got here is a bold undertaking which one can understand as everything else. A social experiment, a learning by doing process that wants to increase the life quality of everyone, that is sustainable and builds on our all interdependance. Being critically why not create for a better present and future?

If there wasn't a site like this you would have to imagine it and create it...

Review: I received an email from PayPal stating that I made a payment of $12.92 to FanBox.com. I quickly research all I could and information on FanBox.com and find out I was not alone. I contact PayPal which is on it as we speak, and did stated that this is not an isolated incident. FanBox.com needs to be shut down for taking unauthorized liberties with people person accounts.Desired Settlement: FanBox.com needs to be shut down for taking unauthorized liberties with people person accounts.

We have already been in contact with the buyer via email and issued a refund to his PayPal account on 4/2/2014. His account has been deleted and no further charges will be applied to his account. A confirmation email was sent to him on 4/2/2014.Our records show an account was created back in 2011, the terms of service were agreed upon, and a PayPal account was entered on 2/26/2014, thus, authorizing charges to be applied. To confirm, the PayPal account has been removed, the FanBox account has been deleted, and refund has already been issued to his PayPal account. Review: Although this service may benefit some, I have found it very difficult to navigate. I was given more funds to use which were basically loaned funds

that had to be payed down through your earnings. I could not turn off the Even though I thought I turned off the IPL feature which will not truly allow you to make money, it remained on. I first got a message that invited me to see how much I earned. I was in Japan at the time and unemployed. When I returned to the USA, I got another email again to see my earnings. We found out my wife had cancer and I thought maybe this was legit and could get some extra money. Now I think otherwise.

I contacted my back and they said Fanbox uses various names and telephone numbers when charging an account. This may be to allow them to continue to charge an individuals credit card. Maybe there number is available, but I could not find it on their website. They should have a link to discontinue service. I do not want to continue further contact with Fanbox. No email, mail, telephone calls or future payments. Close my account.Desired Settlement: As stated above discontinue all contact and close account without any further charges

Review: Feb-02-13Cash Out Request (Pending) Cash Out$42.42 Pending cash out for almost 90 days now, and I still have not received my money! When I opened my account in May 2012 I deposited $20 into my account, and I earned the remaining balance, I sent in a email to there customer support asking why didn't I get my cash out yet. They replied and said that I have to fill out a W-9 form which I did several times! I replied to the email telling them I did several times, and they won't respond to me at all. I have come to the conclusion that this company is a scam! Stay away from them. I want my money!Desired Settlement: I want my money that I am owed, or I want my initial money I invested!

Review: I received repeated emails from Fanbox regarding some account which they falsely claim that I have with them. I have no account with this company. I've never heard of this company. Upon searching the internet for information and reviewing the Revdex.com's reports on Fanbox, it is obvious that this is a shady, unethical, dishonest company. They need to immediately and permanently close any account they've opened under my identity. Review: I have been getting emails from this business for a very long time. I normally just delete and move on. I decided it was time to request they leave me alone. Review: I have earned money doing tasks on fanbox. They have not paid into my Paypal account after I put in a cash out request. I did not receive the money. When I filed a complaint they sent me an email stating that the money was sent to my Paypal April 11. As of April 29 2014 no money has gone into my account. Your account was created by clicking a link within an invitation email you received from a friend, family member, or acquaintance.

In the past month I began receiving emails from Fanbox, like this one

"Dear FanBox User,

I am not sure if you got the earlier email, but just in case: the FanBox experiment is officially ending.

That means that no new users will be allowed in and only previously validated accounts will be allowed to retain their earnings.

To keep the earnings ($1346.85) you achieved over your account's 3-year lifespan, you must validate your account immediately.

Validate your account now or forever hold your peace."

So I clicked the link to Validate my account and was prompted to create a user name and password, and a third step asking for my Credit Card or PayPal, with the assurance they would only charge $0.01 in order to confirm my identity. I did not complete step 3 so the emails continued, almost daily. Finally I input a credit card number and saw the $0.01. Luckily I had only $2 credit available! Then I checked my email and saw 17 emails from them stating that the monthly IPL charge ( whatever that is) could not be billed and warning me I risked a $25 late fee for each month.

So they used deceptive practices to obtain my credit card number.

This is totally a scam. If you say you owe me $1300+ but that I owe you $300+ in fees, just deduct them from my supposed account. I am reporting this scam to the CA Attorney General's office.

Review: I received an email via Fanbox with a family members name on it which prompted me to open it. Since then I continue to receive emails stating I have an account that I never agreed to. I am requesting to delete my account, if any, and remove my contact & financial details from their servers; cancel all earnings and service fee pending or charged already to my account; and stop contacting me in future. I googled Fanbox and read it is a scam.Desired Settlement: The above action requested is completed.

Review: On April 14th 2014, I suddenly received an email saying I had earned $56.75 of an all-time $56.75 earnings.

Since then, the asserted "earnings" amount has increased to $1,134.24, through seemingly daily nuisance emails.

The trick to this, is that they've been emailing a spam-trap email address: it is wholly impossible for them to have received any sort of legitimate signup request through the address used. Attempts to unsubscribe via their email links have not resulted in a termination of the unwanted SPAM emails.Desired Settlement: Cease & desist all attempts at contact via any methods.
