Review: I have been receiving emails from this fanbox.com. I have no idea what fanbox is or does or why they are sending me emails. the emails say that I have earned money, which I have no idea how. it also tells me that I owe money. I do not understand this, I did not sign up for this! I have tried to contact this fanbox but have been unsuccessful at doing so.Desired Settlement: I would like for fanbox to stop sending me these emails. I do not want to earn any money from them nor do I want to pay them anything!

According

to our records, you had created an account on FanBox back in 2010. Your account

was pre-approved to automatically earn from using our credit program called

"IPL" or I'll Pay Later. Due to this activation, your account accrued

several processing fees.

Your

account has been deleted. We have immediately unsubscribed your e-mail

from all of our mailing lists. You will no longer receive e-mails from

FanBox or any of our users, but please allow up to 72 hours for this to go

into effect.

Your IPL

account has been terminated; therefore, you will not be billed with any

processing fees. All IPL processing fees you have received have been canceled. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].

Review: First of all I got an invitation from a certain person inviting me to join Fan Box. I totally ignored it since I do not know him and I am not interested. Next thing, I have been almost daily getting emails from this company stating that I earned so much money. The first email was a collection letter, next were daily earnings. I do not know where they got my email address. I wrote them a letter to complain, tried making phone calls but the no. on line is not on service and the other numbers are not accepting calls, then tried the email. Got a response to delete it but how can I delete something which I did not even establish? I do not need any aggravation in my life. Please help stop these emails. Should I just put their emails in "spam messages"? I am turning to you for HELP. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Just for them to stop collecting and emailing me for my "supposed to be" daily earnings. I found out thru the internet that this Fan Box is a socialization and advertisement. I am just a simple person with limited knowledge on internet. I DO NOT NEED THEM IN MY LIFE. Can you please stop this harasment? I thank you very much

Review: I have never signed up for Fan Box, don't even know what it is about. They have been sending me updates about earnings...for what?? which I ignored thinking it was a scam. I don't know and I am not interested in whatever they are offering, recently I have received notices for payment due and penalty notices, I have tried to find contact information on the emails I have received but every click tries to get you to give out information. I would like this to stop! this is ridiculous that this company should be getting away with this!Desired Settlement: I want this to stop!

Review: FanBox accessed my credit card and removed $199 without my authorization. I had contacted them earlier to cash out but they did not sent the completion code so I did not consider the transaction completed.Desired Settlement: I want nothing more from this company other then the return of my money and to have my account closed and no further contact from them.

Your IPL account has been terminated; therefore, you will not be billed with any processing fees. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Business

Your account was using IPL funds to generate earnings. You received a charge because your IPL Processing Fee was due and you had protected your account; thus, authorizing payments to be made from your credit card or PayPal account if your balance falls below $2.00. To learn about how your IPL account works, please visit this link: http://posts.fanbox.com/sktt4 Your account has been deleted so no further charges will be applied. Review: I received numerous mails from Fanbox about huge earnings and I need to complete process of securing it by validating my account. I completed the process and had been diligently following all that my Success coach guided me with. Instead of being able to take my earnings I was told earnings will take 90 days to mature and then there was this unsolicited IPL amount of $ 1000's credited to my account which was being used to generate supposed Ad earnings. And there was an interest I needed to pay every month. The 90 days maturity never came after a year of doing everything they said. After paying the fee for months togather I have still not been able to take out any money. The icing on the cake is that I deleted my account with clear message that I dont want to pay any fee anymore as I realise this is a scam of huge proportions. They have NOT stopped charging my card which shows they are thriving on gullible people and they will not stop at anything to bill you continously until you change the credit/debit card with your bank.I would like to take every action possible to get back every dollar I have spent in this fraud called Fanbox and simultaniously spread the word for all inncent people to stay farr far away from this scam. Fanbox is simply a clever way for the fraudsters to fleece you.Simple calculation shows that the money spent on Ads to earn is not worth all the efforts. While they show 100s or even 1000s of dollar earnings each day if one takes a closer it will surprise you to see that almost $ 97 -98 is spent. Now the the 1.5% monthly fee for the IPL funds used and what have we? A perpetual wait for cash out.And the whole thing is so well covered up that by the time you realise it you are just wanting to get back what you spent. But ....No way they will not return your monet nor will they stop billing you even after deleting the account. I would like to get every dollar I spent and I am taking all legal recourse possible.BDesired Settlement: Stop billing me in future and return every dollar I have been billed with from the day I started paying.

Business

Response:

We appreciate you

taking the time to communicate that there are ways we can optimize our product.

We appreciate all of our customers and are always seeking to improve. All earnings go through the 90 day maturity cycle. The ability to cash out is dependent on several variables. In order receive a profit, your account must be managed properly.

Your

account has been deleted and we have removed your credit card information to prevent future charges.

Your IPL

account has been terminated; therefore, you will not be billed with any

processing fees. All processing fees and Power User payments made in the past 120 days have been refunded back to your credit card account. Please allow 2 - 3 business days for the refunds to reflect on your account. All other payments made more than 120 days will be refunded to you in the form of a check and mailed to your address.

Regards,

Review: I have requested FanBox to terminate my account and refund my earnings minus the $954.99 that they say I owe for past due fees. They are reporting that I have accrued earnings totaling $2757.37 since September 2013. Recently they emailed me stating that they intend to terminate the FanBox experiment except for validated accounts. When I followed the instructions to validate my account, FanBox stated that they would charge $954.99 to my Paypal account. This was the response that I received after clicking on the button to validate my account. I'm being ask to pay the amount that they say that I owe to terminate my account. That's a scam. When I tried to email them by clicking on reply, I receive a message stating the email address is not valid. A few moments ago I received a message from [redacted] from the FanBox Billing Department stating that my account has been validated. When I attempted to reply to her I received an automatic error message stating that the email address could not be found at "myfanbox.com. I don't understand why the email is one way "coming from them" and the customer can't reply. I believe that I'm getting ripped off.Desired Settlement: I want to received a refund of my earnings.

Review: I received an email from Fanbox on 3/11/2015 regarding some account which they falsely claim that I have with them. I have no account with this company. I've never heard of this company. Upon searching the internet for information and reviewing the Revdex.com's reports on Fanbox, it is obvious that this is a shady, unethical, dishonest company. They need to immediately and permanently close any account they've opened under my identity. They need to stop contacting me immediately. If they do not do this, I will be reporting it to the police. Here is the text of the email I received:

"I noticed that your FanBox account is not protected, despite your sizable earnings of $1,614.86.

I strongly recommend that you protect your funds by validating your account immediately.

If you need assistance, chat with a community expert.

Review: I received multiple billing and penalty billing emails from Fanbox for sevices that I did not subcribe to and did not authorize. I do not have any contracts or agreements with Fanbox. However, emails received from Fanbox claim that I have an IPL account and have "earned credits or $xxxx dollars" using their service and payment is now due. I have never used Fanbox and don't even know what services rendered they are referring to nor what services they even provide. I did not authorize subscription to Fanbox and any service I am being charged for is unauthorized. I contacted Fanbox via email and telephone to resolve this matter, but have received no response. Any help you can provide to resolve the situation ASAP is greatly appreciated. I have forwarded to "[email protected]" the emails I received from Fanbox. Thank you for your help and attention in this matter!Desired Settlement: To resolve the unauthorized charges being billed, Fanbox needs to: 1. Immediately cease and desist all and any unauthorized activity and charges under the account created using my name and email address; 2. Cancel/refund any charges shown on the account as due (ie. these are unauthorized charges); 3. Cancel any and all Fanbox account(s) created using my name and email address, and remove me from the Fanbox mailing/distribution list.

Additional Notes

Review: I began receiving unsolicited e-mails from this company telling me that I had earnings. Today I received an e-mail telling me that I owe them money. I have no idea who they are or how they got my e-mail address. I clicked the link at the bottom of the e-mail to stop receiving their e-mails and to cancel my account, but the link apparently does not work as I keep receiving e-mails from them.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

FanBox is a real site and paying real money to its members for their activities. "FanBox has been paying users daily for their efforts since 2007" and a fake company cannot stay for so long

I am on FanBox for almost 4 years and from the time I know about internet till date I never saw a site, that give you a life changing opportunity as FanBox do! I Love it. I have earned thousands of dollars from here and still earnings on.

I will suggest everyone to come and avail this life changing opportunity.

Review: There is not enough room to list all my problems with FANBOX however I will relay my most recent issue. I was a long standing subscriber with FANBOX around Aug 2015 possibly Sept I closed out my account (my yahoo account) and removed my payment method (CC via [redacted]) with FANBOX and started a brand new account with their affiliate EMPOWR and every since I have been trying and trying to validate my account with EMPOWR to effectively use their service instead of FANBOX as I feel they cheated me alot of money.(another complaint to be made) I followed instructions to remove my payment source( my only Visa Card via [redacted]) and then requesting to delete my account I was assured that this was done. After trying to validate my new account with EMPOWR I am getting an error indicating that I can not have the same payment source as I HAD with FANBOX. I have already deleted my source and account this shouldn't be happening. I have been in contact over and over again with FANBOX'S SUPPORT I have been waiting at least 3 going on 4 months for them to fix it. There's no phone number I can access anymore because I am no longer a member. and the last reply I did get from them was asking me if the issue is resolved. I replied no and I haven't heard anything since. This has been very frustrating for me as I have been asked from FANBOX to provide screen shots which I have done so and yet they do nothing and its put frustration on my new consumer/business relationship with EMPOWR as I am restricted to pay my member dues now and I can not use their service effectively.Desired Settlement: my first and foremost request from this business is to have the phone number for the department that can ACTUALLY help me and I would like whatever this error is to be fixed in a faster response than 4 months.

Business

Response:

Hello,

Review: FanBox has been sending lots of emails. The emails vary in subject, but keep asking me to validate my account and such. I have never opened an account with them that I am aware of.Desired Settlement: I want all communication from FanBox and any affiliates to stop. I want my account deleted and all of my financial and confidential information securely destroyed. If any charges are "due", then I want them removed. I never asked for a service from them and will not pay for anything.

Review: I have received multiple charges to my credit card from this company for the months of April, May, June, and July of 2015. I have not used this company's website, and I did not give them my authorization to charge my credit card for these months. The only time I was on their website was to try to figure out how to get them to delete my information and cancel the subscription to their services which I never signed up for in the first place.Desired Settlement: I demand that Fan box delete any accounts they may have set up in my name, and remove my contact and financial details from their servers. Also, cancel all earnings and service fees pending and already charged to my account. In addition, I want all contact from them to STOP.

Business

Response:

Hello,

Review: Fanbox sends me emails everyday regarding "earnings". I've never used their site, so when I got an email explaining how I had "earned" over *k from them, I opened up the email and went to their site to see what the heck it was, since I had received so many emails from them. MY MISTAKE!

I never agreed to pay any fees! It said I had to pay a fee t get the money, when I read that..I just closed out the form and never opened anymore emails from them. This morning, I get a message from [redacted] saying they have automatically deducted over $[redacted] from my [redacted] account.

I do not use their site, nor did I agree to let them automatically deduct money from my [redacted] account. This is a very deceptive email scam!

I went thereto try to find my information, and it won't give me the option to retrieve it so I can delete it. Nor will it allow me to turn off this protection so my account wont go below $[redacted], and it won't let me delete my account. I want my account deleted, my money returned, and for your company to leave me alone!Desired Settlement: I want my money returned to paypal, I want my paypal information deleted from your site, I want my account deleted, and I no longer want to receive emails from your company!

According to our records, an account was created on FanBox back in

2008. Your account was approved to earn from using ad credits called

"IPL" or "I'll Pay Later." Using ad credits to generate

earnings entails a monthly processing fee. Our records show you accepted

these ad credits and activated them in March of 2014. In April, a PayPal

account was entered to secure your FanBox account. To remove your account

protection, you may contact our billing department or remove it through the

account settings page. We have already done this for you.

Your account has been deleted. We have immediately

unsubscribed your e-mail from all of our mailing lists. You will no longer

receive e-mails from FanBox or any of our users, but please allow up to 72

hours for this to go into effect.

Your IPL account has been terminated; therefore, you will not be

billed with any processing fees. All IPL processing fees you have received have

The charge applied to your PayPal account was already refunded

through PayPal on December 18, 2014.

Review: I am being bombarded with unsolicited emails from Fan Box asking me to "redeem" my money. I have never contacted this outfit and am therefore convinced that this is a company "phishing" for my personal information.
