Unfortunately, we do not have a signed termination request for your membership All termination request need to be submitted via certified mail or in club with a Manager The club is not authorized to take termination request over the phone I do apologize for any confusion however the cancellation procedure is clearly outlinedI can assure you that we are not misleading you or trying to take advantage of youThis is our policy regarding cancellation and it applies to all membersIf you wish to cancel please follow the terms of your agreement and your membership will be cancelled

Professional Fitness would be the person to contact in regards to this as we do not handle the training in house

Our month to month members may go into the facility and sign a cancellation request, if they are unable to go into the facility they are able to send a certified letter requesting to cancel the membership This is to ensure the member has a confirmation of the membership being cancelled I do not show we have received any request to cancel the membership and it has remained active What I'm able to is cancel the membership effective immediately, however there will not be a refund issued

We took over the gym in December and our log in records indicate that the member checked in at the gym times after the change in ownershipThe member was able to cancel her membership at any time with a day written noticeWe do not have a record of a day cancellation notice on file for this member

I believe this complaint to be a contract issueI looked up fitness evolution on the internet because one had just opened up in Carmichael, CAThe website was very promising, it showed it had all the amenities including a full court basketball courtI went to sign up on Dec 22nd The place was still under construction, they were updating an old gym into the new Evolution FitnessI was showed aroundThe young sales woman convinced me they were taking over the lease of the building next door to add the full court basketball court by April I was sold on the ideaAs the months passed no progress was madeI feel the sales associate lied to me so I would sign up with her right then and thereLooking back I should have figured they get a sales incentive because of how aggressive her sales tactics were.For the most part [redacted] agreed with me and refunded some of the monthly dues, however Fitness Evolution feels they are still entitled to a the "Rate Guarantee fee" of $I would like this amount refunded as they did not follow through with the sales associates verbal agreement
