We understand Mr [redacted] ' concernsUnfortunately, our records indicate the Mr [redacted] signed up for a month to month membership in which we have a signed membership agreement and Mr [redacted] paid the $sign up fee

I am rejecting this response because: As I previously stated, I had paid my last full payment in cashThere was no roll over balance owedI had no other financial means at that time to keep the membership openI had declared that at that timeI have nothing to do with what any of fitness evolution staff members enter into their notesI didn't know this was part of the members responsibilityIt was clear enough at that time for me that the account was closedWhy would this business wait a year later to contact its member and say by the way "you owe"? On an account that no longer existed

I am rejecting this response because:Thank you [redacted] Here's where my disagreement lies withOn December 1st, I was originally charged around $160, which was the times for evofiitMy account was over drafted and I had to pay a fee of $35, which I don't agree with because this was a billing mistake on the clubs endOn December 15th, I was charged about $185, which was the times for evofiit, my monthly gym fees, and a late feeWhat I am asking for in a refund is $169, which will be the $originally issued, my $overdraft fee (which [redacted] had kept telling me he was working on), and the $late fee

Fitness Evolution took over ***s in April along with all of their members Your account was transferred over as an active account The notice you received did not state your membership was terminated, it stated that the payments had been stopped In order to terminate the memberships a written request was to be provided days prior to the bill date per the ***s agreemente The balance is valid as you did not properly terminate the membership and would not be able to issue any refunds

I am rejecting this response because:No, you did not give your best attempt to resolve the issue, you gave me your corporate policiesThere was no customer service or sympathy whatsoeverKeep the money you stole and go educate yourselves on hospitality and service

I am rejecting this response because:I was not informed that a certified letter was required in order to cancel my membership, for which I had no contract for I am requesting a copy of the agreement that I signed in which this requirement is outlined In addition, the company needs to ensure that all of their employees are aware of this requirement so that when someone calls to cancel their membership that they can inform the member at that time that they need to submit their cancellation request by certified mail I am saddened to think that this business considers the practice of sending a customer's account to collections immediately an acceptable practice Had the company contacted me prior to sending my account to collections, we could have had a conversation at that time and I could have been notified of what they needed from me in order to cancel my membership I would have sent the company a certified letter that day and paid any outstanding costs at that time Instead, I am now forced to spend hours writing letters to multiple agencies in order to get this issue resolved I hope that this company will consider changing this practice and contact their customers at least one time prior to sending their accounts to collections A simple phone call could have resolved this entire matter [redacted]
