On June 1st when the customer reached out to us, a representative responded back to the customer and explained that they found a monthly subscription under the email of ***. The Customer informed our representative that they authorized use of their credit card to purchase and view a live streaming cheerleading eventWhen the customer authorized someone to use their card to purchase a subscription with Flo Sports, the person that subscribed, agreed to our Terms and Conditions which state a subscription with Flo Sports is auto-renewing unless the subscription is canceled prior to its renewal dateThe person that the customer authorized to use their card failed to cancel their subscription prior to its renewal date

From what I see a chargeback was filed, at that point there is nothing we can do in our billing system If there is anything else they can reach out to me directly and I can fix it [redacted]

an email from our contact us page on April 15th, they contacted us on how to cancel a subscription with us. We replied back on the same day with instructions on how to cancel a subscription with us. The second point of contact was on Aug. 7th when the customer contacted us via phone and we were able to cancel their subscription based on their request. We are unable to issue a credit back to because the customer failed to cancel their subscription before its renewal date per terms and conditions.

entered their card information, before they can be charge, on our subscription page, we do state, By clicking on Become Pro you are agreeing to Terms and Use and Privacy Policy. Also on our subscription page, we do have our FAQ which explains that on FloWrestling, we no longer offer a monthly subscription. When the customer [redacted], contacted us on Feb. 10th, we did explain to them that their subscription was set up to cancel and they would not received further charges. Cancel a subscription cancels a subscription from auto-renewing. If the customer [redacted], signed up for a subscription and did not use or view our paid live stream, we would be able to issue a refund. Since the customer, [redacted] viewed our paid live stream on Feb. 10th, we are unable to issued any kind of refund back.

I am rejecting this response because: They admit in their written response that auto-renewing for their web site service is done automatically and without and prior consent from the customer. They simply bury the fact in a lengthy user agreement that no one reads. They also ADMITTED to involuntarily signing me up for a monthly subscription, and charged by debit card, using my account information which they stored and continue to store WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. By “signing me and my account up” for some lesser subscription that I do not want they only defraud me of 11 dollars instead of 48 (I guess I’m suppossed to be ok with that). 
A check online reveals a long history and vast number of consumer complaints against this company concerning fraudulent billing practices.

The customer signed up for a yearly plan on our website. The customer failed to cancel there plan before the renewal date. The customer was billed for 1 month and refunded the difference. Customers can cancel their account at any time in their account setting to prevent account from auto renewing,.

I am rejecting this response because: If there was a way to contact them during the stream, it was not easily made available.  Go to their website and there is no contact information or customer service numbers listed.  If you go to FloSports, there is a form but no direct line with email or phone number.  I'm not surprised by their response given the number of complaints and Revdex.com rating.  Of course I stayed connected in case our band made finals, but they didn't.  If I really was taking advantage of the service I would have cancelled after the month was over.  I did not watch any other events since I was disgusted with the service.  Timing of the cancellation was due to other commitments.  Our band was not the only band they played commercials over.  Since they claim they are monitoring the service,  then it appears that playing commercials over certain bands was intentional.  I do not expect they will resolve this, the consumer needs to be aware they are paying to watch a lot of commercials, and they may or may not see the entire performance of their children's band.

The customer, [redacted], created a monthly subscription on April 27th and received a monthly charge from us until Dec. 27th when they contacted us to cancel their subscription on Dec. 31st. This was the first point of contact from the customer to cancel their subscription with us. When subscription is canceled with us a cancellation email is automatically emailed to our customers letting them know their subscription has been canceled. If the costumer has a cancellation email from us, we would accommodate them accordingly.

I am rejecting this response because: it is false.  As previously stated, I attempted to register for something advertised as $12.50 a month (something that has continued in these emails).  This is clearly done in a deceptive manner, to lure someone into registering for the annual membership.  I was under the impression the $50 rate was the annual rate.  I would NEVER register for an event the was OVER and pay $50 for it.  I would also never register for an annual service membership for a service such as this.  When I saw the $150 charge, as previously discussed, I immediately cancelled my registration.  Normal business contracts with ethical companies allow you three days to cancel, by the way.  This is quite simply and overt money-grab by an unethical company who operates with deceptive business practices.  At no time did I every authorize a $50 payment - ever.  I have never, ever dealt with a company with such horrible business practices/customer service.  I remain completely dissatisfied and disgusted with this sham.
