Selling your house is a difficult challenge to begin with but when you work with ForSaleByOwner.com, it becomes a nightmareYou think you're saving money by listing the house for sale on your own but once you opt for the more expensive package to have your house listed on the MLS, you get hit with a percentage fee upon the selling of your houseWhen we first signed up, it was .25%, after almost two weeks of going back and forth on paperwork to get the house listed on the MLS, they raised the rate to .50%We argued the fact that we signed up when it was .25% and luckily they honored itThat doesn't mean I like the companyTheir "Live Support" is anything but thatHalf of the time, you're forced to leave a message where no one will call you backThe other times, you're left speaking with someone who can't help you and will refer your callYou are "assigned" an MLS broker to assist you; however, your given a generic email address with random people answeringThey only allow two "free" changes to the MLS, which includes adding Open HousesSo if I have three or more changes to my MLS, including scheduling Open Houses, I'll have to pay $each timeThis list of complaints go on Since I've pulled my hair out for the past weeks with this company, I'm going to stick it out for a little while and get my money's worthFor anyone considering to go with this company, DON'TSave yourself the hassle and go with a realtor

Buyer beware of the pricing on this website I purchased the enhanced MLS listing for over $ No where on their website did I find that they worked with an outside party, but my MLS was referred to realtydot.net I was then charged an additional $once I sold my home Therefore, it cost me twice as much to sell my home than was listed on their website I paid the initial $500+ to list my home and then had to pay an additional $at closing However, I do recommend this website over a realtor any day People CAN sell their own houses and should not be made to feel like they cannot do this service for themselves
