[redacted],  Thank you for providing the information,  I have found and reviewed your call to the call center and the agent did promise you that the balance on your account would be cleared.  I have requested a refund of $28.85, you should see a refund check within 15 business days.

been fine with this, but this morning I discovered that there was a $10.77 charge to my AMEX card that I didn't recognize.  I contacted KINDLE and found out that it was for a subscription to the Star-Telegram.  I also found out that it had charged to my account 5 times since September.  I will admit visiting the Star-Telegram online website a couple of times.  Between 2 and 5 times when I wanted information on a specific story that was going on.  I did not tell them to charge a subscription to my credit card though Amazon.  I would like to know where they got that information and why they did this.  My conversation with Amazon this morning they told me to go through American Express in order to secure a refund for $10.77 x 5 =  $53.85 - $8.00 (what they were able to refund at that time) or $45.85.  The Star-Telegram must be hurting to be doing business like this.  I would like to hear their response to these new charges.

Star Telegram representative called and politely explained everything clearly. Said the best she could offer is a 30 day extension. I believe our delivery should be extended to July, which is the month we paid In 2015 for 52 weeks. Regards,

This is a valid debt but I have written the balance off this one time only.  It states on the renewal under Teams of service: For your convenience, your subscription will automatically renew after the initial term at the current rate unless you tell us to cancel. So the changes are for papers...

that were thrown after the expire date.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: my account has not been updated as of 11/7.  As stated earlier, I do not want to go through this again and require my account be corrected to expiration of October 30, 2017 as previously agreed.Regards,[redacted]

I appoligize that your requested for the Star-Telegram Express to be stopped.  Your information has been forwarded to the Distribution team to immediate get the paper delivery stopped.

Ms. [redacted] account with the Star-Telegram was set-up on automatic payment.  On 5/30/17 her automatic payment was declined. This caused her account to become a billed account,  an invoice was sent on 6/1/17.  Her subscription was automatically cancelled on 8/19/17 for non-payment....

The collection department called her in attempt to collect payment on her account.Ms. [redacted] called the Star-Telegram and made a payment on 8/30/17,  prior to that I do not see where she contacted the Star-Telegram to cancel her account. Her payment has posted to her account and cleared the outstanding balance.  The collection calls have stopped.  Thanks[redacted]

We have given 25 days of credit to customer, because of the misunderstanding with his vacation hold. We also worked something out with pricing.

Customer service contacted this customer, will honor Groupon,  and will start delivery service on 06/01/17.

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.I understand that you have advised me.  I'm not disputing that.  However, I will not close this complaint until I have received my money AND no paper is placed on my property for at least six months (good faith effort that the paper will continue not to be delivered to that address).  I have been promised many times in the past that delivery would stop, however my experiences have proven these assurances to be hollow.  I will no longer accept your words as a resolution.  I have been trying to solve this problem for YEARS based on your words.  Now we are here. We'll solve the problem this way.  Once my two conditions are met, the problem is solved.  Not before then.  I'll remind you that TST was always in control of this outcome.  Failure to follow through on ANY of the past promises is what led us to this point. Promises mean nothing.  Action only.

Customer has been placed DO NOT CALL on the account.

We have contacted the carrier to stop all delivery of the free papers.

Call customer and things with his delivery has been great since Dec.

Mr. [redacted],  I appoligize for the problems you have experienced with your subscription,  we have restarted your subscription and will honor your 12/31/17 expiration date.

We have adjusted the account and it will not expire until 10/16/17.

[redacted]  they sent a  25 dollar  gift card  which  was  nice   and  i thank  them....however the  Gold Card  i should have been  given had  a much  higher value  as  i used  it weekly.......but the  person did  the best they could  and  as  i said  i thank them.......the Star Telegram  seems  to  be  uncaring and  thus I see  no possibility  of  its survival.

This issue has been resolved.  Customer will now pay carrier directly so that there will not be any more discrepancies in bill.
