I am very pleased with FreedomPop I am not tied to my cell phone for all of my essentials The service Freedom Pop provides is perfect for me since I primarily use my cell phone for downloading/listening to podcasts

I have been satisfied with the service insomuch as it has met my expectationsI live in an area with spotty cellular coverage through all carriersBecause of this I didn't expect stellar performance, but for the money, it's been a good backup phone for my needsI'm stuck in a contract with [redacted] for two years and needed a phone that works in the areas where they provide little to no option for roaming data

I was with Freedom Pop months ago I attempted to cancel with them and sent an email about how to since I couldn't find a phone numberI received an email back stating all I had to do was go online and request it to be placed on hold and that would prevent any further billingWRONG!!! I am still getting billed I have attempted to call them, email them, send them letters NOTHING

FreedomPop has been a very good company to do business withWhenever we have had troubles, we have been able to get the issue resolved within hoursConsidering everything is done via email, forums & [redacted] , I think that's greatWe now use FreedomPop exclusively for our phones as a familyPhone & text service in our area is great (metro Detroit)Our kids enjoy having a data planI like that I can monitor usage

I had been having problems with the Freedompop service from the beginningI had trouble getting service wherever I wentI emailed and called the support team and still had issuesI ported my number back to Verizon and was told that I had until June 16th to return the deviceI called today, June 13th for instructions on how to return it and was told that the time line for a return was six days passed! I am now out $200! I cannot use the device with Verizon, another issue altogether, so I now have a phone that I can't use and Freedompop has my money! I feel like I have been takenBeing told the wrong information and now no resolutionBeware

I have had problems and had them resolved ASAP! Up to now I have saved about $and in bills...much relief for a single seniot citizen I pay my own billsd and actually have a better life as a result I will never go back to the other unless they ake me LOVE YOU FREEDOM POP!!! I bought the [redacted] The phone works well, although it comes loaded almost to all it's storage capacityI can't update the apps because the phone tells me there's not enough storageAnother problem was that for some reason I was assigned a $a month plan when I never authorized itI was charged that amount until I became aware of the chargesAfter calling FreedomPop, I changed the plan, however; I was only reemburst for one month

I recently had an issue with my iPhone with freedompopMy issues were completely resolved by a tech at freedompop's officeHe was professional and thorough and I am completely satisfied with the outcome

Am very happy with FreedomPop, phones work great and the price is rightThe voice mail and voice clarity add-ons are worth every pennyAnd customer support is fantasticI'm so confident in the service, that I use my FreedomPop number as my primary phone numberEven if if you can't get the area code from your region, it's worth itJust don't forget to enter all digits for your contacts

In this rural area of VA where I live, internet access is expensive via satellite, cable and [redacted] wireless so being on a fixed income I decided to go with freedom popWhat a mistake! I didn't know it uses [redacted] network until I activated the device, then suffered with spotty 3G signal until days ago when the device stopped workingIt doesn't connect st allI called support, which transferred me after minutes (and saying they'd send an RMA so I could exchange this faulty device) to customer service because I asked about s credit on this month's service due to a nonworking device and not being able to access the internetFinally got a promised creditThen I was transferred back to tech support where once again was promised the RMAby then nearly hours had passedSix days later still no RMA so I called again, had to go thru the entire process againHe said it would take 24-hours to get an email with the twice-promised RMAAll I'm trying to do is exchange!

I have had nothing but good experiences with Freedom Pop in the more than a year that I have been a subscriberThe only problems I had were operator error and an email to customer service fixed it fastI used both the phone and the hotspot

Is Freedompop really free? My first month with FP cost me about $which included the phone and the requirement to sign up for and pay for trial services Once on the plan the services and other plans could be cancelled and from this point on, the service is free My thoughts are; for a truly free service, it should be free from the gso the individual can make an informed decision but at this point one must spend money in order to make this decisionAlso, when someone would like to cancel a service or plan (there is a difference), it is difficult to find the area to "click on" in order to cancel (the print is so small)I have clicked on a tab to find out more information on a service and was immediately signed up for that service( I didn't read the fine print) For my short time experience with FP, there is a free service to be had after your initiation...Just read the fine print and don't "click" on anything before reading all the fine print

Great service! Don't let the negative reviews deter you from trying this serviceI've been very pleased and it's free! In the New England area the service is great in populated areas [redacted]

The service is okay sometimes the calls break up mostly on the other endThe internet connection is not very strong just two bars sometimes three
