FREEDOM POP CUSTOMER SERVICE ACCESS IS AWFUL! AFTER ON HOLD FOR MINUTES, IT DISCONNECTED THE CALL, FORCING ANOTHER CALL FOR ALMOST AS LONG NO BUSINESS CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE SO INACCESSABLE

I have tried this cellular carrier with nothing but phone calls since it has not functioned without problem when it worksI received a NEW phone yesterday that once again does not workI can't even place a callI have at least hours with Tech support and they can't figure it outAfter long wait times to get threw and NO customer service on the weekend ends, I would not recommend using this companyThey responded back, a supervior would contact me, NEVER HAPPENED

Very good businessNo major problems with smart phoneI do wish they would bring back customer telephone service

So far been positive signal pretty good but not great because of sprint system
Need to make pricing a little bit easier to understand if you don't look you will end up paying for something that is supposed to be free

Every now & then there's a problemCustomer service is fairly versed on fixing most problemsAs for sales they're not above selling the wrong hot-spot for your area, & not replacing it

I have NOTHING but issues with this COMPANYOnce I think the service is working fine within HOURS its not working AGAINI have the $plan which has NO VOICE MAIL and this morning, AGAIN calls can not connectTheir customer service is VERY POOR and they keep making EMPTY PROMISES to correct the NO SERVICE issuesI spent HOURS on the phone, mostly on HOLD then leave my Home number since this is the only one that works and NO CALL BACKSAs a customer you can not even file a complaint against this company because they never registered with the Revdex.comWill be file complaint with the Attorney General Office

Sorry for this rating, but I truly do not believe it is the device's faultI have had a terrible experience with Freedompop to the degree that I could not recommend anyone for anythingI transferred to their service, in less than a month I was notified their customer service deptwould no longer accept phone calls (July 1, 2016), they provide a member generated/ participation forum that your are expected to peruse and resolve issues you may have with services and other problemsAlso, you can contact them via e-mail, but my first response arrived four (4) days following, Approxafter a month I decided to leave the service, but I had a problem porting "my" telephone number to a new providerIt took two (2) weeks to effect the change, only after I contacted the FCC did they accommodate the transferI still have the phone with a new number, due their $service termination fee, but I don't use it to the point where I exceed limits provided with the free serviceNow they've arbitrarily charged me $for a "top up", intended to provide continued service as you near the limits of your planThe problem is I didn't authorize it, request it or need it because the charge was billed the 29th of the month, the exact date my service limits are renewedYes, I've already "e-mailed" them for a refund and expect an answer probably in four or so daysThis has truly been a journey, dropped calls, unable to make calls or access the internet, then there's no immediate support contacts to address an issueAgain, I wish this evauation could be more positive but it is the truth and nothing but the truth........................................................***...............B... Fantastic Service Very reasonable I had *** and canceled after one week *** cost me $for the one week of service and a $phone with terrible internet access out in our rural area Thank you FreedomPop!!

Since beginning service, have never had this app/service work correctly with phone calls I continually get varying error messages; or suddenly drop connection; or parties simply cannot hear each other! I've spent months, days, hours over phone & email with FP, to no avail They promised (from a rep as well as a Supervisor) to send a FP SIM cardI had to buy one on *** today told me that I was misinformed and they would never send one to a customer who brought their own phone Since their Diagnostics doesn't reveal where the issues lie (although their special Diagnostics App shoes "No SIM Detected" as an error), and their team doesn't know how to troubleshoot beyond asking if I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the Messaging App, they turn on me stating that the problem lies in the hardware of my phone! I have a *** a very nice phone that works perfectly fine with *** *** and *** Dialer This company is a joke, and nothing but a waste of time Most recently, I was told that they are going to escalate the issues to the Developers (which I swear was already done previously) and that if they can't determine the source of the problem I am out of luck completely After the investment to start service plus Spring SIM card, I've wasted money as well as tons of time Avoid this company if you can!!

FreedomPop was not up front with its additional costs, claiming overage charges when we used the service minimallyAttempts to get through on their service customer line failed, so I sent an email & got the following automatic reply:

We continued to be charged until I finally got through on the phone 12/9/We will never use FreedomPop again, & we don't want others to have the same exorbitant costs for awful service

it's only been okay I use just a little data and suddenly I'm being charged dollars a month I don't have the money And before you do something you should inform your customers you are going to do it, not just do it without warning

I have been using Freedom Pop for about three years Before this I was using *** prepaid with non smartphone It was as much as buying a freedom pop phone with free service for a year It was my dream not to pay over 20$ a month for a smartphone phone service since Verizon and others are so expensive When my brother didn't have a phone I'm glad he took a chance on freedom pop and got himself one with the free service I tried freedom pop when he showed me his new phone It has been great, saving money and paying for what I need with a good phone The added services are great tooMy added service is the premium plus with voice mail, group messaging, pic/video texting, tethering and roll over data When I did have some problems with my phone I found their forums to be very helpful in fixing the problems The customer service is also very helpful Freedom pop is a great service for anybody wanting to save money on a phone

FreedomPop is a good cheep phone service

Service is free, like anything that's free it takes extra work to have it function properly There is no free lunch

You Need to improve the area signals problem because cannot make a calls or text sometimes and people call me or text meI didn't receive their call and text right away it's not good if someone will call me or text me for emergency I have NO idea until is to late it's because I can't recieve their call or text right away sometimes and my freedompop phone cant download the important apps I need..because the phone don't have enough internal memory even do I buy or add 32gb memory card but still won't let me download apps I dont know why!!! I can see clearly that the 32gb I added to my phone still have plenty of space but stil the phone or my freedom pop service won't let me download makes me mad sometimes

I am pleased with the customer service provided and would recommend Freedompop to seniors and retired individuals that don't need expensive monthly bills like other carriers charge

FreedomPop always finds a way to sneak in charges in their free plan and consumers won't know much about it because:
FreedomPop does not send any bill when they charge the customers
The charges are not called out clearly to the consumers when they signed up with FreedomPop supposedly free planDoes Cramming ring a bell?
The only effective way to truly get the free plan is to call FreedomPop customer service which is terrible in length of wait and service quality
There is no further recourse if the customer service have made their decision on customer'c case
FreedomPop customer service level makes consumers feel like they are in third world country - FreedomPop is always right
I strongly do not recommend FreedomPop unless you won't mind being charge on your supposedly free plan

I have had my phones for a few weeks now and I can say that they were a very good deal and work as expected toI would recommend FreedomPop as a reliable and cost effective service
