very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this to our attention. CWRV Sales denies Mr. [redacted]’s request for a full refund of the purchase price.  We conducted a review of the issues raised in the Complaint and hereby submit the following response. Mr. [redacted] took delivery of his RV on April 15, 2016.  A few weeks after his initial use (about May 2nd) he contacted CWRV Sales and advised of the infestation.  Initially, CWRV Sales requested he return the unit for a detail at no cost to him.  Mr. [redacted] declined the offer and demanded a refund.  In response, CWRV Sales advised it was in no position to refund the purchase price but if he wanted to CWRV Sales would trade it on another unit at cost.  When Mr. [redacted] expressed his dissatisfaction with the trade option, CWRV Sales’ offered to pay an exterminator to assess the unit and handle accordingly.  Despite Mr. [redacted] exhibiting less than favorable behavior in the showroom, CWRV Sales made arrangements to pick up the unit from his home and bring it back to the dealership for treatment. In an effort to obtain customer satisfaction, CWRV Sales paid for a third party to exterminate the unit which includes three (3) additional treatments to be performed over the next six (6) weeks as a reassurance measure.  In addition to the treatment, CWRV Sales heat treated the unit on site at a temperature of 140 degrees for 2 hours and dry cleaned all of the unit’s bedding at no cost to the customer.  The exterminator has confirmed heat treating the unit at temperatures above 115 degrees for more than 15 minutes would cure the infestation.   Mr. [redacted] was given all of the contact information for the exterminator and can call to have the additional treatments performed at his residence.  To that end, CWRV Sales believes it has provided quality customer service to Mr. [redacted] and requests the complaint closed.  Nothing in this correspondence shall be considered an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the Complaint or statements filed by Mr. [redacted].    Regards, CWRV Sales

matter to our attention.                  We reached out to the local management team and have received the following response:    Ms. [redacted] dropped off the damaged filter to CWRV Sales and upon their inspection, CWRV Sales Service Manager, Ed Woods, confirmed that the filter had been hit by road debris.  Additionally, the dealer discovered that the filter had sustained a one inch deep gash in the side which was evidently from a recent event.  In addition, the hole in the filter is not pushed out as if from internal pressure but pushed in in as if it was hit from the outside.  Per our work order disclaimer, work of this nature is only warranted for one year and Ms. [redacted] referenced oil change was completed over twenty two months and 5000 miles ago.  As a result of these findings, CWRV Sales will not assume any responsibility for the damage referenced in the complaint.    Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint or statements made by Dorrie [redacted].

CWRV Sales’ General Manager, Michael [redacted] confirmed the parties have reached an amicable resolution by agreeing to trade Mr. [redacted] into another vehicle.  We further understand the trade was facilitated through the CWRV Sales’ affiliate located in Hanover, PA. reached out to the local management team and received the following response:   The RV went into the shop on 11-2-16 to be diagnosed and determine what was causing the leak. Upon inspection we found that the window seals around the windows were defective and that new parts needed to be ordered. We then submitted the work in for warranty authorization on 11-3-16, and received authorization on 11-7-16. We then placed the order for the seals on 11-9-16. Parts for the window seal arrived to us on 12-8-16, and dispatched back to the shop on 12-9-16 to install parts. While trying to install the parts we determined that the wrong parts were sent from the manufacturer. Parts were reordered on 12-12-16. Customer took coach on 12-13-16 to use for the holidays. Reordered parts came in on 1-16-17 and customer dropped coach off on 1-24-17. Coach went back into the shop on 1-25-17 to install new seals. While installing new seals, we found that the parts had come in wrong again from the manufacturer. We then reordered the parts on 1-26-17. Parts came in on 1-30-17 and the RV was dispatched to go back into the shop on 1-31-16. New parts were installed and we called customer to inform him that the coach was done. Mr. [redacted] picked up his RV on February 6, 2017 and all of the problems have been resolved.   Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with respect to the issues raised in the complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: This is quite humorous. CW was informed of the issue between a week or 2 following the purchase, after taking it out the first time. The "detail" was declined because a "detail" would serve as no remedy to a bed bug infestation as the most simple amount of research will show. CW did offer to take the trailer in on "trade". What they failed to mention is what they wanted to give me for the trailer. Which was about 3700 less then what I paid for it, including the difference on a different unit that was supposedly "at cost". CW did actually pick up the trailer to "treat" it. After said treatment, we were asked to pick it up. Upon entering the trailer after the "treatment", the trailer was a wreck. Cushions everywhere. Nothing put back. Mattress jammed between the door which actually broke the slide curtain rail for the room. It was a disaster. Of course, I had to put in more time to clean it once I got it home. I took pictures of 4 LIVE Bed Bugs that were found during the cleaning process. And made a video of the mess before cleaning it in the CW parking lot. Either it wasn't treated, or it was a half as'd job. Thanks CW. Thanks alot. Your customer service is AWESOME (cough cough). As for my "behavior" in your showroom, the fact that would even be mentioned speaks very loudly about the values of which your business is ran. Don't look for cop outs. I'm sure if roles were reversed and anyone else in that "organization" were in my position, they would be upset as well. I was just ripped off for 12,750.00 for god sakes. You're selling TRAILERS, not CHEESEBURGERS. I DO NOT accept your response. I DO NOT accept your sorry attempt at "fixing" the issue. You guys are wrong, and you KNOW it.
Sincerely,
Skylor [redacted]

Nova [redacted] / Complaint ID 11194771 CWRV Sales is in receipt of the consumer rebuttal requesting to re-open this complaint.  We regret the [redacted]s continue to be dissatisfied with the handling of their concerns.  We hereby undertake to file the following response: Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] took delivery of their coach on 07/30/2014.  Before taking delivery CWRV Sales conducts a full pre-delivery inspection which includes condition and operation of appliances.  At this time all appliances in the [redacted]s coach worked as designed, with no flaws.  On 08/11/2015 Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] had an appointment to get warranty items replaced.  Although they were out of warranty by twelve (12) days, CWRV Sales was able to get a toilet valve and oven door covered under Keystone's manufacturer warranty.  We completed the work that Keystone authorized us to do.  After delivery from the repairs that were made, it was found that the door was not the fix to the oven issue and the oven itself was bent which was causing the problem.  We resubmitted to Keystone Manufacturing for a replacement oven on 11/12/2015 and the claim was denied due to the coach being out of manufacturer warranty.  We further addressed this with Keystone on the customer's behalf, stating that this was a pre-existing issue and Keystone still would not cover the replacement of the oven, stating that this was incidental damage caused by Mr. and Mrs. [redacted].  At this point Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] reached out to Keystone themselves and were told the same thing.  We understand their frustration and tried to accommodate and fix the issue with the oven.  Unfortunately, CWRV Sales is not the holder of the warranty and it is not our discretion as to what is covered and what is not.  Keystone in this instance is the holder of the warranty and has denied the claim to replace the oven.  To that end, we believe CWRV Sales has given a good faith effort to try and assist the [redacted]s.  However, their issues of concern are beyond our control.  We would appreciate the Revdex.com acknowledging our position and close the file with a favorable or neutral evaluation.Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with regard to any issues raised in the complaint or statements filed by Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]. Regards, CWRV Sales

I am rejecting this response because:As I stated, this is a very unethical company. We have a copy of the I.O.U. in our sales paperwork that they claim they did not give us.We have spoken to other Rv'ers who have dealt with Camping World and many have had similar experiences. We will continue to spread the word of the deceit and poor customer service along social media and the internet as to warn others. If this company continues to be rude and give us their "Tough, we cashed your check already" attitude. They did admit the service guy who did the walk thru did lie to us about the inability to check the A.C. units onsite.
Sincerely,
Ronnie [redacted]

CWRV Sales management has advised the necessary paperwork has been prepared and finalized and will be forwarded to Mr. [redacted] this week to facilitate the resolution as discussed.  We appreciate his cooperation and patience.

your office bringing this matter to our attention. CWRV Sales denies Mr. [redacted]’s request for a replacement hot water heater.  We conducted an investigation into the issues raised with the assistance of the location’s management team.  We understand Mr. [redacted] had possession and use of his RV for at least two (2) years prior to ever making CWRV Sales aware of any concerns regarding the [redacted] heating system.  As soon as it was brought to the service team’s attention and in an effort to address the customer’s concerns, CWRV Sales contacted [redacted], the manufacturer of the heating system.  Under the guidance of [redacted], CWRV Sales performed a variety of diagnostic tests to determine the functioning heating levels and found all levels met operational standards.  Based on those results the manufacturer determined there were no defects with the system and declined authorization to replace Mr. [redacted]’s hot water heater.  When advised of the manufacturer’s decision Mr. [redacted] requested CWRV Sales take responsibility and replace the system, alleging the dealership was responsible for choosing the [redacted] option. CWRV Sales’ management explained to Mr. [redacted] that the [redacted] system was not a special order but a stock unit and as the selling dealer has no control over the products the RV manufacturers offer in their units.  Furthermore, Mr. [redacted] acknowledged when he signed the purchase agreement the Limitation of Liability relieving CWRV Sales of defective or consequential damage that may occur with a manufacturer’s product.  To that end, we assert CWRV Sales is not responsible to replace the system.  Again, we regret that he is continues to be dissatisfied with the functionality of the hot water heating system and recommend he address his concerns with the manufacturer directly at 800-[redacted]. Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint or statements filed by Mr. [redacted].     Regards,   CWRV Sales
