matter to our attention.   We reached out to the local management team and have been advised that Mr. [redacted] issues have been addressed.   CWRV Sales’ General Manager, Stephen K. [redacted] confirmed that the weight and sway were included with the packet and were delivered to him within two days after delivery.  CWRV Sales’ also notified Mr. [redacted] that the model he has did not come with the USB ports.  As a gesture of good will and as a result of the misunderstanding, the dealer gave Mr. [redacted] a gift card for the confusion.  After delivery, Mr. [redacted] also had warranty work performed on his unit.   The work was completed on March 16, 2017 and he conveyed his satisfaction. If Mr. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns we request that he contact the location directly.  To that end we consider this matter closed and request your office acknowledge same.    Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with respect to the issues raised in the complaint.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/05) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The dealership that I have the complaint against is Camping World RV Sales (formerly [redacted]) located at [redacted]
The stock number is XXXXXXX.
[redacted] is the person who made the commitment to have the shower doors installed in the RV.
Purchased a new class c Siesta Sprinter rv on the condition that shower doors would be installed in the bathroom. This condition is written into the sales contract (#XXXXXX). The manufacturer does not make shower doors for this unit and camping world cannot find after market doors that [redacted] fit or be functional. Without the promise of shower doors being available for this unit, I would never have purchased it.

RE: [redacted] / Case # XXXXXXXX
The corporate office has been advised the parties have been direct communication with each other and are currently working towards an amicable resolution.

raised in the complaint with the assistance of CWRV Sales' management and submit the following response:Mr. [redacted] purchased from us last May and has not been happy since his first trip in the coach. His first and biggest complaint is the air conditioning not cooling the unit in extreme heat. He feels that a third A/C unit should have been installed from the factory. He has had several RV repair shops including ours test the units and every time he has been told they are all performing the way they should and Keystone will not add a third A/C. He has expressed his dissatisfaction with these results on many occasions to myself and other members of my management staff. He has talked with several Keystone employees trying to demand a buy back with no luck. He then felt that it should fall under a lemon law and that Camping World should buy it back. We have explained that we will repair anything that has been diagnosed and approved by Keystone, back to factory specs but cannot buy his unit back. We told him that we could trade him out and order him a brand new one from the factory, but that was unacceptable.  Mr. [redacted] has since found many other problems with the coach that we have repaired or we will be repairing when all parts are in. We have explained that the coach is fully usable and that he should take it while we are waiting on all parts as they can take some time. He refused to take the coach until all repairs are complete. To that end, we will contact Mr. [redacted] once the repairs have been completed.Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint or statement filed by Mr. [redacted]. Regards, CWRV Sales

very seriously and appreciate your office for bringing this matter to our attention.                  CWRV Sales’ declines Ms. [redacted]’s request for a refund and or exchange.  It is our understanding, CWRV Sales had not spoken with Ms. [redacted] since November 2016 nor has the company received any complaint or concerns regarding her unit since this time.    The management team recently advised Ms. [redacted] lives in the unit full time and that she was made aware on multiple occasions that CWRV Sales’ does not provide mobile services.  Additionally, Ms. [redacted] understood CWRV Sales would not be responsible for transporting her unit for service nor would it be responsible for making any accommodations for her, considering she occupies the unit full time.  Ultimately, it is each consumer’s responsibility to transport their unit to and from the most convenient service center if they require service.  It was recommended that she contact [redacted] RV, the unit’s manufacturer to inquire about mobile services. Although CWRV Sales’ is not required to make mobile service visits, as a courtesy and a gesture of good will, CWRV Sales sent a technician from a local affiliate to stop by Ms. [redacted]’s trailer on  November 8, 2016.  Recently, CWRV Sales’ notified Mr. [redacted] that majority of the parts that are needed to complete the repairs were recently received.  Mr. [redacted] was also notified that the remaining parts will take a few weeks.  CWRV Sales is willing to assist Ms. [redacted] with her repair issues so long as she presents her unit to our service facility.   Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability in connection with any issues raised in the complaint or statements filed by Ms. [redacted].

our attention.  We have forwarded this issue to CWRV Sales' management team for review and handling.  It is our understanding Ms. [redacted]'s request was recently processed and the refund has been forwarded to her financial institution.  We recommend she allow 30 days for the funds to be received an applied to her account and to follow up with them directly to confirm receipt.  To that end, we will consider this matter resolved upon their tender of the funds.  We regret any inconvenience this matter may have caused.  Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted]. Regards,  CWRV Sales

CWRV Sales denies Mr. [redacted]'s request for compensation and the allegations raised in the complaint.  Below is the timeline related to the service of his vehicle.   May 27th-   customers come in to pick up there new trailer. Mr. [redacted] bought airbags for his truck as part of...

the sales deal. He was informed that the airbags would not be in until June 9th so we scheduled him for that date for installation. June 9th- customer had airbags installed. June 16th- customer brought trailer in for warranty work which is typical of new trailers after the first or second trips out. No mention of trailer plug not working properly. July 22nd- Customer brought his truck in stating that his airbags had a leak because the compressor come on periodically. The tech determined that the bag system has an air dryer installed. The air is purged periodically to drain any moisture that may be in the line. In turn that compressor will kick on to replenish the lost air. This is normal operation for this system. -customer also stated that the plug that we installed in the bed of his truck was not working properly. Tech found that there was a bad connection on the work that we completed. The connection was fixed. At that time the customer was made know that his existing plug in his bumper was very corroded and could not be made functional. He was given a price to install a new plug which he declined the repair. Aug 1st- Customer brought his trailer in for additional warranty repairs. The trailer was sent to dispatch the same day and is currently going through the warranty process. There was no mention that his bed plug was not working at that time.    -I am not sure why Mr. [redacted] has mentioned that we have “damaged” his truck? We agree that his existing plug is not working properly. It  is our belief that the plug is old and corroded and required replacement. -Where the basketball is concerned. The parts coordinator always carried around a small Camping World basketball around with him. He is the one that drove the truck back to the tech for repairs. He did leave his basketball on the console (not in the bed). Mr. [redacted] mentioned the basketball to us and we have apologized several times included the Store manager. There was no mention of any lunch bag in his truck. That information is new to us. Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint.   Regards,  CWRV Sales

desirable and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention. CWRV Sales denies any liability for any issues raised in the complaint.  Ms. [redacted] purchased her unit “as is” and purchased tire and wheel coverage.  CWRV Sales’ management confirmed the tires were inspected as a part of prep and at the time of sale had good tread with no sign of dry rot.  It is our understanding Ms. [redacted] did not follow the coverage procedures to get reimbursed for the tire issue.  However, in an effort to obtain customer satisfaction, CWRV Sales provided assistance with the processing of the claim and advised her to contact her insurance company regarding the damage to the coach.  Management has advised it has provided all of the assistance it can and there is nothing further it can do in this matter.  To that end, we request you acknowledge CWRV Sales’ position and close the matter with a favorable or neutral evaluation. Regards, CWRV Sales
