RE: Mr. [redacted]
Our office is in receipt of the above referenced consumer complaint (the "Complaint") recently filed with the Revdex.com in connection with Mr. [redacted] concerns with service issues. Unfortunately, we are...

unable to conduct a thorough investigation into the issues raised due to a lack of information provided in the Complaint.

A review of our records reveals there is a history of Mr. [redacted] directing his communication through the Revdex.com and not directly with the location. Has the consumer addressed his newest concerns with the dealership directly?
We will forward...

this communication to the location. However, we suggest he communicate with the management team directly.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/06/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Their response is untrue and fails to address the issue. I discussed the problem with CW who told me they would not replace the batteries, hence the reason I contacted the Revdex.com. CW contacted me subsequent to my complaint but offered no resolution claiming they replaced the batteries (ignoring the fact they replaced them because they had ruined the ones I had purchased) and ignoring the fact the inverter problems started coincident with their working on the battery system. This was not the
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2015/06/19) */
CWRV Sales has advised the consumer picked up his motorhome the first week of June and reiterates there is no additional offer of help for this customer at this time. To that end we request the Revdex.com close the complaint with a neutral evaluation.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
As of 10/25/2017, I have been in contact with one of the store managers from Camping World of Kingson, John [redacted].  Although the resolution will not be completely  finalized until next week, we have come to an agreement regarding the final payment.

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:In the first response the dealership argued that the issue with the rusting engine bay was because the RV was delivered from the manufacturer site to the dealership in Florida and the snow could rust the metal parts. I rebutted that the delivery was done in April, so the argument of snow is really weak. In the last response they argued that the humidity in Florida could rust the metal parts (look like the snow argument was dropped). I responded that I visited a [redacted] dealership to double check in the [redacted] model, I did inspect used and brand-new units for sale, also used units in service, I did not find any rust conditions in the engine bay. It is not the humidity of Florida, I was living in Florida for more than 20 years, I had owned many, many cars since, I never see before a rusted like that, for sure something happened, the engine bay was in contact with water or a corrosive environment for a while and the dealership concealed this situation to me. Lasted 19 months since the manufacturer date of delivery until the unit was finally sold to me (delivery date 04/2016, sale date 11/2017). What happened in the 19 months period? Was the RV all the time in the dealership? The RV was a show unit? it was used for rental? it was a demonstrative unit? Whatever happened, the dealership never disclosed the rusted condition nor anything else. This confirms my suspect that the mileage was altered, rusted engine bay, 19 months for finally sold it, DEF fluid empty signal after 2,000 miles, "brand new" unit in service 9 months before selling, and so on.The other problem, the RV has a location issue for both batteries, the chassis battery is located inside the cabin and the house batteries are located inside the house. I think it is a design problem not in compliance with regulations for locating batteries indoor.I will have a trouble re-selling it. I am really upset; the dealership concealed the issue the with the rusted engine bay.  Sincerely, Seriozha [redacted]

RE:  [redacted] / Complaint ID [redacted]  Shipp's RV Centers, LLC dba Camping World RV Sales ("CWRV Sales") is in receipt of the above referenced consumer complaint.  We take all consumer concerns very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention.  We followed up with the location's management team and were advised the repairs were successfully completed. Mr. [redacted] accepted the repairs and picked up his unit on Saturday, Jan. 14th.  To that end, we consider this matter closed and request your office acknowledge same.   Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint. Regards,  CWRV Sales

RE:  [redacted] / Complaint ID:  [redacted] CWRV Sales is in receipt of the rebuttal response forwarded by Mr. [redacted].  Unfortunately, we disagree with Mr. [redacted] accounts of the events leading up to our office’s receipt of his Revdex.com complaint and regret he has not afforded the dealership an opportunity to address his concerns.          Although we only recently received this complaint, it is our understanding CWRV Sales has made several attempts to work with Mr. [redacted] when he initially raised concerns on or about August 30, 2016. It was during this time CWRV Sales’ management suggested they bring the RV in so that the service team could inspect and diagnose the issues of concern.  In response, Mr. [redacted] raised the possibility of trading in the RV and the parties began to discuss options, that included CWRV Sales providing quotes and suggestions as well as Mr. [redacted]’ request for pricing on two specific trailers.  On or about September 1st CWRV Sales called him back to go over purchase options and he gave CWRV Sales every reason to believe he would bring the RV in.  However, there was no further contact between the parties until our recent receipt of the Revdex.com complaint.        Upon receipt of the complaint CWRV Sales attempted to contact both [redacted] and Virgie [redacted] and left messages October 5th.  On October 10th, [redacted] called back to advise he wouldn’t work with CWRV Sales’ proposal.  On October 12th, CWRV Sales again called the [redacted] in an attempt to address the issues and was advised they would not return the RV for any repairs.  We regret the [redacted] are not willing to work with its service department to address their concerns.  However, without their cooperation we believe there is nothing CWRV Sales can do to resolve this matter.  To that end, we respectfully request your office acknowledge CWRV Sales’ efforts and close the complaint with a neutral or favorable evaluation.       Regards,         CWRV Sales

provide sufficient information that would allow our office to conduct a thorough investigation into the issues raised in the complaint.  To look into this matter, we would need the names of the registered owner(s), the year/make/model and stock number along with the location the RV was purchased from.  We will be happy to look into the issues once we receive the requested information.  Regards, CWRV Sales

attention.  We forwarded the issues raised to CWRV Sales' management team for review and have been advised of the following status:The only complaint he has is regarding the awning arms we ordered per deal.  He wanted to pick them up and install them himself, which he did.  He picked the parts up in June and he is not able to install them himself.  He is dropping off his unit on Monday with the awning arms inside for us to install.  I let him know that if the arms are actually incorrect, we will get the proper ones in for him but it would not be a one or two day turn around.  We are encouraged that the parties will work together to resolve the outstanding issue.Nothing in this correspondence shall be construed as an admission of fault or liability with any issues raised in the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted].  Regards, CWRV Sales

RE: [redacted] / Case # XXXXXXXX
Our office is in receipt of the consumer's complaint that was issued against the [redacted] dealership. Unfortunately, when the complaint was filed it inaccurately referenced the dealership. Please be...

aware the Bakersfield dealership has no record of this consumer and her purchase as it does not have access to online transactions. With that understanding, the corporate office [redacted] be transferring this complaint to Camping World retail for processing and handling.
We [redacted] advise the Revdex.com of any information we receive on this matter. We also appreciate Ms. [redacted]'s patience and your office for forwarding this information.

RE: [redacted] / Case # XXXXXXXX
We have followed up with the CWRV Sales' management team and understand Ms. [redacted] returned to the dealership earlier this week. It is our understanding a member of the management team reviewed each item of repair, line-by-line with Ms. [redacted] in addition to ensuring the repairs performed were operational and functioned properly. We also understand Ms. [redacted] has approved the repairs as satisfactory and took possession of her RV.
To that end, we consider this matter to be resolved and request the Revdex.com's acknowledgment of same. As always, we appreciate the Revdex.com for bringing this matter to our attention.
