quickly, apologized, and resolved the issue.

I ordered 2 dozen roses to be delivered on Valentine's Day. I ordered them a month in advance, because I was paranoid that if I waited till the last moment there'd be a problem. They were never delivered. I looked into my order online and immediately received a call. I was apologized to and told the flowers would arrive on Tuesday by a man with a thick Indian accent. I was planning on yelling and getting angry about it but didn't want to yell at some poor foreign guy for a company's mistakes. I was told my money will be refunded.

Valentine's Day is the reason these businesses exist, you'd think they'd make a point of being on top of every order. Sure I was apologized to and am being refunded, but my girlfriend was expecting flowers that never came. I had to show her a bank statement showing that I had actually purchased flowers for the day. That's romantic.

We are in receipt of Mr. [redacted] feedback about the non-delivery of the item ordered. A full refund has been posted to his payment method.   We have reached out to Mr. [redacted] directly to confirm this resolution and received no response.

Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2014/02/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I spoke to a representative recently who said...

the entire amount of $74.42 was credited. When I checked my statement, there was a credit of 42.54 on 2/17/14, not the entire amount as stated by the representative on 2/22/14. Again they were dishonest with their dealings with me.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/02/27) */
Total amount charged: 74.42
Amount refunded on 2/14: 42.54
Amount refunded on 2/22: 31.88
The consumer should see all funds returned to his orginal payment method. Please be advised that although FTD.COM has processed your refund immediately, some banking institutions may take up to 5 business days to post to your account.

day with no refund and my bank states there is no pending refund activities.  When I attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] I was informed he was (convienently) out of the office.  Every thing I have been told has not been true.

I will never use ftd ever again. For a company that regularly profits off the grief of others the way they operate is unacceptable. Funerals are hard why would a florist make things harder? Before I get into the meat of the situation here are 3 major problems with ftd.
1. The website is unable to know if there's actually a florist that will deliver to the ordered area. It will let you place an order take your money and send you on your way thinking you just completed an emotionally hard task.
2. There are plenty of ftd florists but apparently some of them won't deliver 3 miles away, maybe they just say no withe certain orders I'm not sure. But 3 miles and you can't deliver? The website dosent tell you that. It dosent say We may deliver your flowers.
3. When in fact there isn't a florist willing to deliver to your specified location they don't call you up and apologize they email you a vague email that the flowers you wanted are unable available and to email them back so they can arrange for a similar alternative.

So with those 3 major business flaws here's the meat. A close very friend of mine had a relative pass away. I knew the relative very well and considered them also to be a friend even if we were not as close. When she passed and I found out the funeral information I realized I could not attend as I live in a different country and a little over 48 hours was not enough time to make arrangements and get there. I was devastated and very unhappy with myself. I turned to ftd in hopes I could send flowers to the grieving family in my absence. I called the family and apologized I couldn't be there and expressed my sympathy and after placing an order on ftd I told them I was sending flowers to the funeral.
The next day now less then 24 hours from the funeral I get an email as mentioned in major issue #3. I was at work and I didn't want to call and get all teared up because that's exactly what would have happened. In my response I said I would be happy to take any suitable alternative. 9 hours later and I'm off work still no response. So now at home now 10pm and unashamed of ruining my mascara again I called to ftd. Not only was my email never responded to but they had in fact already cancelled my order because there's no local florist "willing to deliver". Thier best suggestion was to call local florists the morning of the funeral directly. Not only is this a major in convince to me and my work scheduhale vrs the funerals local timezone it's going grocery cost me hugely extra for same day Saturday delivery by 2pm. Completely unacceptable, is this a real business or a child's lemonade stand? If your vague email had just said hey sorry for your loss but we cannot deliver I would have had time on a Friday to call other companies. Had you picked up a phone and called me to tell me hey we don't feel like delivering that, I would have had time to make other arrangements. Or had you even responded to my email reply to say hey sorry the auto msg promises a solution but there isnt one the order has been cancelled, I would have had time to make other arrangements. But because of your lack of professionalism and vague emails saying how much you care about my business I am now the person that said they sent flowers and didnt. Thank you ftd for making a hard time harder your compassion for my grief truly inspires me.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/02/24) */
A full refund was issued to the customer's original payment method.

I was sent an email on December 20, 2016 at 6:30 PM stating the following:
Thank you for your recent purchase from FTD.COM. We are pleased to inform you that the delivery of your order has been completed as scheduled.
This was an outright lie. No delivery was made.
It is now December 21st and the arrangement has still not been delivered. I called customer service last night and was told the email I received did not mean that the arrangement was delivered. Instead all it meant was that it was at the florist and probably out for delivery. I was also told that if the order did not arrive in the morning it could be cancelled. I called customer service again this morning and was told that they would contact the florist and let me know the status of the delivery. I was also told that the arrangement would be upgraded to compensate for my inconvenience. I never received any confirmation of the delivery or nondelivery either by phone or email. I called customer service again this afternoon. I was told again that the arrangement was out for delivery and that it was too late to cancel.
When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold for over 15 minutes and then hung up on.
I called back and was told that there were no supervisors available to speak to me.
