Ordered flowers for Mother's day. The day after delivery was supposed to happen,(Friday) I get an email saying the item is not available. I call to have them substitute ANYTHING just to get it delivered today (Saturday)or tomorrow (mother's day) and spent over an hour with India including a supervisor. Best they could offer after all that was to deliver something AFTER mother's day with a 30% discount! I tried to explain that that was unacceptable without success. They then cancelled my order.

I placed an order with ftd.com on December 15 for delivery on December 22. It was not delivered. I contacted ftd.com once by phone and twice online to register a complaint. It is one week past the delivery date and I still have not received ANY RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. Meanwhile, my credit card has been charged in full. I would suggest to everyone that you simply [redacted] a local florist in the area where you want to send flowers, place your order directly with the local florist, and bypass ftd.com altogether. They do not deserve your business.

Do NOT use FTD.com if you want your flowers to actually arrive. This morning I found that I have received an email from FTD *AGAIN* that a flower order has been unable to be delivered. They asked me to give them a call. They said there were no florists available to make the delivery to the Funeral service Saturday and would be sending out the flowers today. What for? I ordered these flowers on behalf of my boss. What am I supposed to tell him? Shame on you FTD. TERRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER EVER use your services again and I will share my experience with everyone I know. I am now headed to [redacted] and [redacted] to leave reviews as well.

ORDERED MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS ON 5/4/2015 FOR DELIVERY ON 5/9 OR 5/10. THE FLORIST SAID THEY TRIED TO DELIVER, BUT NO ONE ANSWERED. THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE SINCE MY PARENTS DID NOT GO ANYWHERE EITHER DAY NOR WAS A FLORIST CALLED IN THROUGH SECURITY ON EITHER DAY.
RECEIVED A CALL FROM FTD STATING THAT THERE WWAS NO ONE HOME TO ACCEPT DELIVER AND THAT "NOT TO WORRY" A DELIVER WOULD BE RESCEDULED THAT DAY.
NO SUCH DELIVERY WAS RESCEDULED, NOR ANY REDELIVERY ATTEMPTED.

SO NO FLOWERS WERE DELIVERED FOR MOTHER'S DAY AND NO CALLS FOR E-MAILS FROM FTD. I HAVE REQUESTED MY MONEY BACK AND WILL GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY FOR ANY FUTURE FLOWER DELEIVERIES.

I am rejecting this response because: FTD's response was acceptable up until the point when the company wrote, "we are sorry the order didn't meet his expectations."  I don't see how false advertising and failing to manage subpar contracted florists in Hawaii resulting in flowers not being delivered on the same day, as promised, would meet anyone's expectations.  The bottom line is FTD's lax business practices in abandoning oversight of its Hawaii florists is a matter of concern for anyone considering placing a same-day order with FTD for delivery in Hawaii.  Recommend you think very carefully before trust FTD and its advertising.

The full refund was processed on 5/19.

This account was settled with the collection agency.

I ordered flowers for a funeral 3/30/2015 to be delivered 4/3/2015 - I went to funeral they were not there--I received email from ftd stating flowers were delivered - I called to state that they were NOT delivered-wanted refund--ftd said the florist delivered to family after funeral - but if I wanted refund they would go to family & pick up flowers!!--The original fraud that they had delivered --they would have the audacity to say they would get flowers from grieving family!!
Do NOT do business with FTD!
After much discussion I was told I would receive a refund but it would take 5 business days!
