I'm writing a review of a solicitation I received by phone call this morning from a person identifying himself as a *** Certified TechnicianHe referenced a company name "Geek Support Live"I received a phone call from an unlisted number this morningThe caller stated his name and business "Frank with Geek Support Live" and went on to tell me he was notified I had a problem with my computerI interrupted him and asked him to repeat his name and company nameI asked how he came to be calling me and asked him to repeat himself a number of times as it was hard to understand him and what he was saying didn't make any senseI asked, "How did you get my number?" and he said that he didn't have my number, only my customer ID and all my personal information was closed in that fileI asked him to slow down and repeat what he had said a number of timesHe referred to a "Computer ID" and a "Customer ID"
He said, "When you purchased your *** computer..." I intended to ask about this alleged "purchase" and this alleged "*** computer" however at that time he said something very fast and garbled followed by what sounded like, "Well thank you goodbyeLove you." and he disconnectedNot only was this a poorly conducted cold call but I was not given the opportunity to opt out of future callsI've phoned my elderly relatives to be sure they do not accept cold call offers to fix their computer issuesLegitimate or not, this is a bad business practice

I started with a complaint #*** which Revdex.com closed because I stated I would accept the terms of Geek Support to fix my computer for free since they created issues with itI just spent 1-1/hours with them and they still did not fix the issue

Any customer who wants to purchase any service plan with us, they have to purchase from our website, that is www.GeekSupportLive.comOn all the purchases made with Geek Support Live it will show up GeekSupportLive as descriptor on their credit card or debit card statementMoreover we do not have any $planThis customer seems to have been scammed for $by someone who is unknown to us and should contact their bank in case its a service charge from their bank?
The purchase date as mentioned by the customer 7/6/which is over a year backThis is not fair for the customer to blame us nowHowever, should customer have any queries or questions, we will be happy to assist and cooperate in best possible manner
All they have to do is go on our web page and explain their problem

yes my wife just had a phone call from them and im a computer programmer and she put me on the phone and they said her computer is getting viruses now I built her firewall and nothing gets threw if something does its tells menow they had me go to this website and my firewall pinged it told me someone is trying to download my hard drive once I got that message I told them to remove me from there list and they said no I will not I asked to speak to a manager and once again they refused

We explained to Mr *** and he understands that he was scammed by some unknown person
