I am rejecting this response because:

Geek Support Live did issue a $150 refund. I was on the conference
call for a while, approx. 15 min, before Geek Support Live agreed to a refund.
I asked for a full refund, but was offered a partial refund, which I
discontentedly accepted.
 
The events that occurred on 23 Jan are as follows:
1.    
My PC was compromised at the root level on or
before 23 Jan. I may provide details in the future, after I receive the final digital
forensics analysis report.
2.    
I received an unsolicited phone call from Geek
Support Live on 23 Jan informing me that my computer was compromised.
a.    
How did Geek Support Live know my computer was
compromised?
b.    
How did Geek Support Live know my phone number?
3.    
Geek Support Live had remote control over my PC
with administrator rights, and used very high-pressure scare tactics to get my
business.
4.    
Geek Support Live installed free antivirus remotely.
 
The behavior of the Geek Support Live technician on 23 Jan
was at a minimum unethical, and likely illegal. While this behavior may not
reflect company policy, the fact is the events did occur. I strongly encourage
you to provide cyber ethics training to your workforce both locally and
overseas, as there seems to be a large disconnect between your company policy
and the technician’s actions on that day.
 
Regarding the invoice, I never received an email containing
an invoice, or any correspondence whatsoever regarding my purchase.
 
In summary, I was taken advantage of. I feel that Geek
Support Live at least owes me a full refund. This type of unethical behavior is
completely unacceptable.

This is not a legitimate business.
They constantly call my home phone claiming that they are receiving an error message from my anti virus software that it is out of date. I knew immediately that this was not true since I do not register anything under my home phone number and I had recently renewed my subscription to my anti virus software.
After every phone call I have asked to be placed on a do not call list which they refuse to do.

I am rejecting this response because it is a plain lie. This company uses lies to get people to purchase products. It's unethical, immoral and plain sinful. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people. 
They did not scam me out of any money. I'm just trying to do my part so they don't scam anyone else.

I am rejecting this response because: I just received a new call - exact same sales pitch - from a new company called "itechlive" which used to be Geek Support live. Total bs that they're operating as a new company now and calling cell phones. I do not accept this response. I will make a new complaint against itechlive but these people need to cut it out. It's a nuissance.

I WANT YOU TO KNOW WE REFUNDED THE BALANCE OF $200 AND THE REFUND RECEIPT COPY IS SENT TO THE CUSTOMER BY EPROCESSING AUTOMATICALLY.  
HER DAUGHTERS FIRST EMAIL MENTIONS THAT HER MOTHER WAS DRINKING AND NO MOTHER WANTS TO HEAR OR EXPLAIN THIS TO THEIR DAUGHTER SO THIS BRINGS UP A ISSUE WITH US BECAUSE KNOWING HOW OUR COMPANY HELPS PEOPLE WITH THEIR COMPUTERS IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK ON OUR WEB SITE TO TYPE IN MANUALLY WHAT IS REQUIRED BEFORE OUR TECHNICIANS IS ALLOWED TO WORK ON THEIR COMPUTER.  I HAVE ISSUES WITH THIS?
THE OTHER PROBLEM IS HER DAUGHTER IS ANSWERING FOR HER MOTHER WHO WASN'T THEIR AND DOESN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT OUR COMPANY DOES TO HELP AND EDUCATE PEOPLE.  
 
THE NEXT ISSUE WE FIXED HER COMPUTER AND SPENT A LONG TIME DOING THIS?  WHEN THE TECHNICIAN WAS DONE THEY ALWAYS ASK THIS QUESTION ARE YOU SATISFIED WITH THE COMPUTER AND THEY ALWAYS GIVE THEM OUR TOLL FREE NUMBER TO CONTACT US FOR ANY ISSUE THEY MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE.  PLUS OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLS ASKING THE CUSTOMER IF THEY ARE SATISFIED AND THEY ALL SAY YES.  
HER MONEY HAS BEEN REFUNDED.
