Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to me. Upon contacting and speaking to many supervisors and employees the answer I’ve been given multiple answers that don’t correlate. I want to physically speak with someone concerning this matter. The payment was made through a bank account why would I receive a paper check through the mail ?
Regards,

August 30, 2016 Re: Complaint ID: [redacted] Dear Mr. [redacted], Thank you for the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.com (“Revdex.com”) regarding your GM Financial account. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information. Please understand that our position regarding this matter has not changed from the response sent to you on September 26, 2012. Please refer to Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted]. Our records reflect that GM Financial check number 12730217 in the amount of $14.00 was not issued due to an overpayment, but due to a routine audit. Please understand that this refund has no bearing on the late fee balance that remains on your account. As late fees are part of your contractual obligation, we are unable to release the title to the vehicle until this balance has been satisfied. At this time, the late fee balance remaining on the account is $230.65. Copies of the following documents are being sent to your address of record:Motor Vehicle Retail Installment ContractAccount Payment HistoryPost Maturity Late Fee Balance NoticesLetter of response sent to you, and copied to GM Financial from The State of Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner regarding this same matter dated November 19, 2012. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance regarding this matter, please contact GM Financial at ###-###-####. Sincerely,GM Financial

Thank you for forwarding the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to offer the following information. On January 14, 2016, you attempted to submit a payment via MyAccount online through Western Union’s Speed Pay system, using...

a 13 digit account number and a routing number that returns to Bluebird via American Express (“Bluebird”). Please understand that Western Union’s SpeedPay only allows payments attached to a Visa, MasterCard, or a checking/savings account supported by a banking institution. Based on the statement information you previously provided, research was conducted and it was determined that the payment was returned on January 19, 2016 as “Non-Transaction Account” and the funds were reversed from GM Financial. Bluebird was contacted on January 28, 2016 and advised GM Financial that their account numbers are 15 digits in length and that account holders are unable to process transactions using a routing and account number. The bank representative also explained it could take up to 8 business days to return the funds to your account. Our records reflect that a GM Financial representative then contacted you and advised you of this information. If you have not received these funds credited back to your account, you will need to dispute this transaction directly with Bluebird. The payments received by GM Financial on February 2, 2016 and March 4, 2016 were submitted online via Bluebird’s website and transmitted electronically to GM Financial by Online Resources Corporation (“ORCC”), a third party payment systems provider. GM Financial is required to report truthful and accurate information to the credit bureau reporting agencies. Our research concludes that the account status and account payment history of your account have been reported to the credit bureau reporting agencies with accuracy; and as a result, we are unable to make any changes or deletions to the credit bureau reporting of your account. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please contact Customer Service at ###-###-####. Sincerely, GM Financial

Please understand that any additional disputes submitted through the credit bureaus may void the update submitted by GM Financial.

Please understand that the Reinstatement Department is a fairly small department and all calls and voice mails are responded to in the order they are received. On Saturdays, this department is available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CST). However, as the vehicle was recovered on a Saturday, the Repossession Agent’s Business Office would have been closed and GM Financial would have been unable to confirm the repossession and fees until the following business day on Monday, December 21, 2015.As you were advised on Monday, December 21, 2015, the amount required to reinstate the Vehicle is $1,299.92 and includes the following charges:December 7, 2015 Installment Amount of $291.73November 7, 2015 Installment Amount of $291.73October 7, 2015 Installment of Amount $291.46Late Fee Balance of $50.00Cost of Repossession $375.00Please understand that this amount does not cover any additional charges that may be owed separately to the repossession agent. Our records reflect that you spoke to a member of leadership on December 21, 2015 and at this time have advised GM Financial that you are declining to reinstate the Vehicle. Please be aware that if the vehicle is not reinstated/redeemed, the vehicle will be sold at a private sale. Notices of the Right to Redeem or Reinstate and Our Plan to Sell Property have been mailed to your address of record on December 21, 2015. The Notice of Our Plan to Sell Property explains in further detail your continuing obligations. Please keep in mind that you can redeem your account, including expenses, in order to get the vehicle back at any time before the vehicle is sold. Included for your review are copies of your Contract, Account Payment History, and USPS Tracking Report. Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information.
Please be advised, the payoff that was quoted to you on February 2, 2018 in the amount of $23,279.86 did not include the repossession or any other additional fees to reinstate the vehicle.
The payoff amount for this account is currently $ 25,684.30 and is good thru March 18, 2018. Please note the payoff quote is subject to change if the payoff expires, changes to the account payment history occur or fees assess to the account. Any payoff amount quoted to you includes the unpaid principal balance of the account, finance charges currently owed from the date the last payment was received through the good thru date of the payoff quote; and any other fees that may be due, such as late fees.
Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance in regards to this matter please contact GM Financial at ###-###-####.
Sincerely,
GM Financial

Thank you for the correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information. As your February installment was due on Monday, February 1, 2016, your account is now into a new billing cycle. This is why you are seeing two...

payments owed online, one for the past due installment for February 1, 2016 and the second for the current billing cycle due March 1, 2016. When you are making your payment online, you are shown the amount to be paid and given the option to edit any information on both the Payment Information and Payment Review Pages, prior to authorizing and making the payment. As per your Contract, if a payment is not received in full within 10 days after it is due, you will pay a late charge of $5 or 5% of the part of the payment that is late, whichever is greater. Please understand that this is not a grace period as this is a Simple Interest Contract, meaning that interest accrues on a daily basis. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your feedback. If you have any additional questions or are in need of additional assistance, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-284-2271.Sincerely,GM Financial

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Please be advised GM Financial is unable to reimburse funds that were part of your contractual liability, or funds that you elected to spend on the vehicle.
We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance regarding this matter, please feel free to contact Lease Customer Service department directly at [redacted].

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:GM Financial is ignoring the problem caused on their end by a computer problem in December, and putting all the corrective action effort on the customer. I have confirmed with my bank, [redacted], that payment was made in early December, well ahead of the due date.  I also confirmed payments were made in the previous month (November) and the month after (January) the payment in question.  Because GM Financial lost the record of my December payment (but did cash the check!), I have filed a claim with [redacted] who will be contacting GM Financial directly.  If WF is unable to resolve the payment issue, I will contact GM Financial again.  Regards,
[redacted]
