4, 2015, you entered into a Motor Vehicle Consumer Simple Interest Installment Sale Contract (“Contract”) for a 2009 Chevrolet Impala in the amount of $12,493.14. Within the agreement, you agreed to repay the loan in 72 monthly installments in the amount of $339.72 per month, beginning September 18, 2015.
On January 12, 2018, the decision was made to repossess the vehicle, as allowed by the contract. At this time the account was 85 days past due. Our records indicate the vehicle was repossessed on January 29, 2018 and returned to you at no charge on January 30, 2018. A repossession will not be reported to the credit bureaus and you will not be responsible for any repossession fees. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate your request for further compensation.

Complaint: [redacted] Hello,Attached is a copy of my old tradeline with GM. Upon further research, this was actually my first ever car financed with them: 2012 Hyundai Sonata. I was in a car accident with this car, which totaled it. Progressive Insurance paid GM $11,060, the pay off amount for the car, by my due date. There is no way this should be affecting me negatively, as Progressed be paid GM Financial on time.As requester my SSN is [redacted]. Please let me know if you need anything else!

I am rejecting this response because: I have been told that a check was mailed out on Feb. 19th 2018, I was told this will take 5 business days to get to me, after the 5 days, I called back to be told that it will be 5 to 10 business days, and when I still didnt get it I was told that it says it was mailed but NO check number was generated, which means no check was sent out, this is according to a GM Financial Customer service rep. Then When I called back on the 6th, I was told the check was in fact mailed on the 6th, and even as of yeasterday March 8th I was told again it was mailed on the 6th, Now you are telling me it was mailed on the 7th, not a big deal of 1 day, Im just tired of the lies. I just want to get my refund and be DONE with the LIES of GM financial

It has been brought to our attention that in January 2017, some consumer’s trade lines did not update the current balance field appropriately which may have caused your trade line to show as paid or closed. Our research concludes that the account status and account payment history of your account have been reported to the credit bureau reporting agencies with accuracy; and as a result, we are unable to make any changes or deletions to the credit bureau reporting. Please be advised in order to obtain a copy of your credit bureau reporting you will need to contact the credit bureau reporting agencies directly.

The amount reflected on MyAccount is for the past due February 1, 2016 installment due date and for the current billing cycle due March 1, 2016.Our records reflect that payoffs were quoted to [redacted] Chevrolet on February 4, 2015 and February 5, 2016. As of today’s date the payoff for your account has not been received and the account is still active. I have not changed my position regarding this matter . GM Financial has NOT provided me with sufficient information or proof of how this amount was calculated. I stated previously, a blank worksheet does not provide an explanation of how the interest was figured for my loan. I will now pursue legal action through the courts.

I was never advised of any accruing interest between 2010 through 2014 then in March of 2014 someone did finally tell me there were charges adding up so I made arrangements to pay extra for 4 payments so that I could pay ahead of the due date I was told this agreement would allow me to pay ahead of the due date which it did. From July 2014 till now I payed 2 weeks ahead of my due date.  So all those payments from 2010 through 2014 I was deceived by your company and charged hidden interest charges.  I was never told of these charges till 2014 and upon looking at my original contract these were on a separate sheet NOT THE SHEET I SIGNED. I dont know that this second page was even available at the contract signing but I suspect not.  Regardless, Every time I was not able to pay on or just after the due date I contacted you. I was never told of any extra interest charges, it was not documented on my statements or told to me verbally from 2010 through 2014. Every time I called I was told there was no charges and no negative reports to the credit bureaus.  Also The only times I deferred a payment was when I changed employment or my pay schedule changed at which time I contacted you ahead to make arrangements concerned with negative reports to the credit bureaus.  Every time You lied and told me I was allowed 2 deferrals without impacting my balance.You have no right to charge me over $2000 in hidden fees. Was I paying late? Not according to my credit report. Was I notified of hidden charges?  Not until 2014 at which time we had an agreement and I payed extra monthly payments to get ahead of my due date.  Was I ever charged a late fee? No because I was not late.  Was I sufficiently notified of hidden charges by not paying on the due date?? Not once until 2014, after 4 years of payments.  You are attempting to rip me off over $2000 for for interest fees through deceptive practices and hidden interest fees. I was never notified of until 4 years of payments. Did I make an effort to make adjustments to the way I was paying once I was notified. YES and payed ahead every payment after that. I assure you if I had known of these hidden charges at the start of the loan I would have made an effort to adjust and pay the way I payed the second half, ahead of the due date.  I believe I have sufficient evidence of fraud and of deceptive lending practices.  Any further correspondence by me will be through my Attorney.      No wonder you have 385 reports against you on RipOff Reports site.
