[redacted] came out to check our furnace They told us the fire ring damper needed to be replaced and they did not do that type of work but the furnace was in great shape We called Gold Medal for service and they came out and wanted $to fix th damper and told us the furnace must be replaced and putting off Carbon Monoxide and shut off the furnace We called [redacted] out and the fixed the problem for $and said the furnace was fine What a rip off We don't want to see Gold Medal again and just want future customers to know what they are dealing with

I would recommend Gold Medal to everyone Their personnel is very friendly They take the time to explain and show you what is being done I have used their services a number of times, for emergencies and/or just things I wanted, not needed done and, I have no complaints

Gold Medal Plumbing was very responsive to my request of snaking my clogged kitchen drain and kept informed of the technicians arrival time ,who was also very knowledgeable of my problem.The pricing was very fair.I will definitely use Gold Medal again and also recommend this company to family and friends Thank you, Dennis Russell

This customer has been contact numerous times The complaint is as it is, is out of date We made two visits there to correct the issue The underlying work performed was not the issue During our initial visit we suggested that the customer consider a one day bathroom solution which would have resolved all issues At that time she declined and only wanted what we advised would be a temporary solution given the age of the other components We made a second visit to make additional adjustments but informed her the one additional component should be placed, but was a rather expensive labor intensive part We also spoke with the customer's brother several times since and before the initial complaint was filed He had asked for a refund, but not the customer We eventually agreed on a 50% refund, but then when he was informed that he would need to advise the Revdex.com of the resolution, he demanded a full refundA full refund is not justified in this situation In fact, the customer, with the brother's input, took Gold Medal's advice and had a one day bathroom solution installed, but through another company The offer of a 50% refund still stands Thank you

I have been a longstanding customer of Gold Medal and a member of the total care club Having dealt with contractors over the past years, it is refreshing to come across a dedicated and customer service based companyNot only is the workmanship of the highest caliber but the staff are professional, friendly, clean and extremely thorough and knowledgeable Renewing my five year service contract comes with no hesitation The technicians take the time to explain the services performed and don't leave until you are fully engaged and comfortable with the scope of work performed Unlike other companies, there are no pressure sales tactics Customer service and technicians coordinate home visits and they are always punctual if not early hour service is just that so you quickly become accustom to the highest caliber of contracting services

Initially contacted for a clogged drain They responded and cleared drain stating roots had penetrated the line leading out to street Same was opened for $feeWas told should be ok but they would send out a specialist to run a camera thru to make sure at no cost to me Next day [redacted] came and viewed with camera After viewing stated that some roots still remained I viewed the camera view also and observed a small bird net sized spot of roots Not large thick roots wrapped around or protrouding through the pipe I asked if we could preform a second snaking procedure Mr [redacted] stated that he had years of experience with this company and a second treatment could do more damage than good by possibilly on the pipe and collapsing it on itself So I agreed to have them dig up and cut out the rooted section$charge Mr [redacted] ( [redacted] ) identified the foot section of pipe to be cut out and replaced The next day 6-20-the repair crew

I AM THE OWNER Accordingly to our lawyer, they will have a difficult time recovering based on their response Also, according to our lawyer, they are violation of the consumer fraud statute, which if we prevail, is three time our damages Can this vendor explain whey they STILL have not provided an itemized line by line bill that we have been requesting for months - since they performed this unauthorized work Also, Revdex.com should be aware that on 2/27/I received an email from [redacted] who identified himself as an attorney for Gold Medal Service He represented at that time (I can forward the email if you like), that he will investigate the "facts" in my letter and I would hear from him with days Seven da6ys would have been Monday, February I never heard from him Why is Gold Medal so unwilling to provided an itemized invoice which is required by the Consumer Fraud Statute Why are their lawyers contacting me then not following up How they do business is obvious Regards, [redacted]

I had a positive experience with Gold Medal Service plumber Mike H [redacted] on Veterans' Day, November 11, My problem was that water was still coming out of my outside faucet days after I turned it off and also turned off the indoor valve that controls the water flowing to that faucetBoth the valve and the faucet were replacedMike H [redacted] was punctual, patiently answered my questions, gave me options so I could decide how much work he should do, and thoroughly cleaned up after himselfI am confident everything is fixed properly and I don't have to worry about pipes freezing and bursting and flooding my homeI recommend Gold Medal Service to people who are willing to pay for professionals who will do quality workI am sure you can find lower prices, but not unless you are willing to wait around for late arrivals, have leaks that aren't fixed in one visit, and clean up a big mess after your plumber leaves

I had to call Gold Medal this morning after my toilet started spurting water from the round piece (valve?) that the arm is attached to They told me they could have someone out here between and 1, which made me extremely happyService tech Mike M [redacted] called to let me know he was on his way and arrived pretty close to 12, I think Mike was extremely polite, friendly and explained what the problem was and what he had to do to fix the issueHe (thankfully) had the piece he needed on the truck, installed it and was finished in no time With paperwork and billing, etc, he was done and gone by 1:30pm Mike was a pleasure to deal with and couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable

I hired Gold Medal Service to replace leaking main pipe (from curbside shutoff valve to the house) When initially discussed the job, they assured that they will use "bullet" machine to replace underground pipe and my landscaping will be intact (we have nice and expensive landscaping and paving) When the crew started to work, they said, they cannot use "bullet" machine because there are stones underground (what a surprise!) and they need to excavate the pipe all length, through landscaping and pavingOKNext, they said that they cannot place new pipe into the same hole as the old one and they need to "route" it through my garageThe problem is, my garage is not heated and pipe would freeze all the timeThey were thinking about how to do the job for almost days (while our family with y.otoddler stayed without water)On afternoon of second day, some expert or manager from the company arrived and assessed the situationHe found the way to route new pipe through basement ba

I called for expertise plumbing for my drain problem and got we cant figure out this problem and charged me $100,for nothing done! They said it was probably a vent issue and wanted $to use a camera on only eight feet of pipe that was easily accessable! It seemed that Gold medal was more interested in keeping the technician moving to make more money than it was to please the customer! Would never refer this company to anybody! Dont believe the recommendations on their web site!

Initial contact has been made with this customer and we will attempt to resolve any legitimate concerns However, the "tenant" of the property is a property interest holder and properly authorized such work in advance of performance of such work Thank you

Excellent work and customer service! I had repairs done on a very old boiler at my Grandmother's house this past weekendMatt was our repair man and he was awesome!! We explained the whole story of shoddy workmanship done to it recentlyHe took the time to listen and then began his assessmentHe pinpointed the problem in no timeHe fixed it properly and he explained everything of what he did and the amount to fix itHe was super nice and did an amazing job! I have had Gold Medal service and/or replace all major hvac and electrical systems in my home for the last 10 years or more. I have been "advised" at each and every service call that additional services should be added, and I have relied on the advice most of the time. I had a duct cleaning service, at their urging, and it was done by an inexperienced, disgruntled man, who did a poor job, and would have left many ducts uncleaned had I not pointed out the ones he missed, even though I showed him all ducts beforehand. In addition, he was not given the financing paperwork for me to sign. I was told it would be sent, but wasn't. Next call, months later, asking if I wanted to finance....still no papers or bills sent. After one or two calls , over several months, I asked for a bill so I could pay in full....months again until a call followed by a bill, which I paid in full. Two days later, a letter from a collection agency!! Now, they won't service my systems!! Over-priced and a bad business model....sorry it took me so long and so much money to find out!!! I've had constant issues with my HVAC, which is only 8 years old!!!

Gold Medal took a bit longer to look into this matter.We are going to honor this Client's request for a refund in the amount of $ It will be processed and should be received within days.Gold Medal would like to note that all of our advertising states that the Client should call for details There are some situations where there may be additional costsIn the present situation, before charging additional monies over the $93, the situation was explained to the Client and she agreed and signed off on the agreement However, in reviewing the matter, in hindsight, we believe it nest to refund the difference in the two price levels of drain clearing.We hope our valued Client remains satisfied with our overall performance.Thank you
